Everyone knows, if it weren't for 'double standards'.. liberals would have no standards at all... Reagan also summed them up perfectly (many years ago) when he said... “It isn't so much that liberals are ignorant. It's just that they know so many things that aren't so.”

No. Ryan had to go. I meant a more adult mentality

Debeda... I think the true # of 'adults' (and by adults I mean any/all elected individuals in Wash who truly support and stand behind DJT's stated mission to clean up the incredibly corrupt swamp).. anyway.. the sum total of these 'adults' (wanting Trump to actually succeed) can be counted on one, or maybe two hands. I am including all the conservative politicians in figuring this (sum total), too... As you already noted-Paul Ryan definitely proved he is/was part of the problem, but basically the whole lot of them (from both sides) are corrupt and not worth spitting on. Since long before Trump arrived on the scene, our self-absorbed politicians have been spreading their crap mentality throughout every nook and cranny of our political system-they've tainted and gamed anything/everything they can.. obviously to avoid blame and accountability for their present and future boondoggles/schemes/indiscretions (or business as usual).. and it's worked pretty effectively (pre-Trump). There's an old cliche/meme, based on a fairy tale, which IMO perfectly sums up our current situation concerning this 'swamp' which is holding our political system hostage-'Oh what a wicked web they did weave, when first they practiced to deceive'. This goes hand in hand with the 'end justifies the means' mindset progressives now blatantly and unashamedly practice. Nobody in Wash wants to see anything changed much from what it is now-oh, they'll talk about it when/if put on the spot (which isn't very often)-but, behind the curtains they are sabotaging any effort to reform their cesspool. Most of our current conservative pols-esp the rhinos-have (at a minimum) made looking dumb, unconcerned, and/or out of touch appear fashionable...

I don't know what the answer is either.. but it's definitely not as simple as 'thru e******ns'.. b/c Wash can corrupt them much faster than we can elect them.........

Obviously in the interest of decorum, Rosenstein had to polish his own knob and sugar coat the purpose of the DOJ rather than provide an honest synopsis of decades of corruption at the highest levels in the DOJ. Revealing the ugly t***h would not be politically correct.
That letter reads more like a DOJ mission statemen... (show quote)

It's pretty obvious he's probably running cover for the 'establishment supporting' rhinos here..who-like the despicable dimocrats-do not wish to see any real changes occur within the corrupt 'networks' (the swamp) they have all been setting up for years. These 'networks' include (but are not limited to) the FBI, CIA, DOJ, and the IRS.. and both sides have been guilty in 'stacking the admin(s)', of every govt run entity with their own minions, typically as payback (and more importantly as insurance). They've done this, not so much on a partisan level, but in order to cover the Washington swamp's hijacking of our (entire) political system (for their own personal gains)... Both sides have vested interests in this NOT becoming common knowledge, concerning just how corrupt and deceitful Washington has become, and at this time still is... As we've seen repeatably, and for the most part, all these now corrupted agencies are very big on rhetoric and very short on action(s). The main purpose of this is to distract the attention of the general public, until the pols can create another smokescreen which will redirect attention elsewhere (so they can move on with their games which benefit ONLY themselves). Then hopefully during all the hoopla created, we will forget about the things they cannot logically defend and/or do not want to discuss, and move on. The whole system is FUBAR..but both sides have an interest in maintaining it. This is the 'cabal' (deep state) against Trump. They have successfully implemented what should rightfully be considered an underachieving 'status quo', which neither side wants any changes to, b/c it will upset what they've worked very hard to create. IMO all the only way to possibly correct this is to disband/fire all admin at all these corrupt agencies.. and basically start over.. which I don't see happening.

HAAAAA!!!!!

A WORLD HISTORY LESSON😊
SO TRUE!!!!!

Beer and the Wheel

The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel.

Beer required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture.

Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so whilsse our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.

The wheel was invented to get man to the beer and vice versa. These two were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:

1. Conservatives.
2. Liberals.

Some men spent their days tracking and k*****g animals to BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.

Other men who were less sk**led at hunting (called 'vegetarians' which was an early human word meaning 'bad h****r') learned to live off the Conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hairdressing. This was the beginning of the liberal movement.

Some of these liberal men “evolved” into women. Others became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of democratic v****g to decide how to divide the meat and beer that Conservatives provided.

Over the years Conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass for obvious reasons.

Modern Liberals like special flavored beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine spritzers or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare. Another interesting evolutionary side note: many liberal women have higher testosterone levels than their men.

Most college professors, social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, film makers in Hollywood, group therapists and community organizers are liberals. Liberals meddled in our national pastime and invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.

Conservatives drink real beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are members of the military, big game h****rs, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, engineers, corporate executives, athletes, airline pilots, and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other Conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when Conservatives were coming to America. They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.

Here ends today's lesson in world history. It should be noted that a liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to this post.

A Conservative will simply laugh and be so convinced of the absolute t***h of this history.

And there you have it. Let your next action reveal your true self, I'm going to grab a few beers and grill some steaks!

If any of this 'proven evidence' which you Trump h**ers keep referring to actually exists.. then why haven't impeachment charges already been filed??? Your first sentence is the big elephant in the room no one want's to talk about. I remember reading about how when hybrid cars hit the scene, and they did some honest environmental/cost analysis, they discovered the break even point (for the damage already done to the atmosphere producing the batteries they require) was around 136,000 miles... Then you could start realizing a true net loss in environmental damage (vs a conventional internal combustion engine). If the car (or battery) didn't make it to this 'break even' point, then you have to consider this particular car (or part) just made things worse. I was working in the parts dept of a dealership when the hybrids came out and we replaced quite a few batteries (at around $3000-3500 each). The cars did run good though...

Brings back the days when I used to go to the nationals in Atlanta and Bristol.
I had a little street class I built for the local d**g strip. The photo shows a 302 in a 73' Mercury Comet. Soon after this photo, I added an MSD electronic ignition. It ran the 1/8 mile, stock, in 11.72 sec. and after the rebuild shown, ran an ET of 9.25 sec. That's a pretty good increase to shave 2 1/2 seconds off of a run for a total cost of $2500.

Thanks max...I've always had a passion for the 'fast cars'-it sounds like you prob understand 'the need..(for speed)' most of us hotrodders are afflicted with..lol. I jokingly say "we spend thousands..to win hundreds", but if you're fairly resourceful and can afford it..it's not a bad way to have a lot of fun. I bracket raced this car regularly for about 10 yrs (both locally and in the IHRA division 4 Top D**gster series), and still have it, but b/c of some family obligations I've been unable to dev**e any time to it for 5-6 yrs, due to a move and then my wife getting very sick a couple of years ago. Anyway, this car ran 7.50's-7.70's @ around 180 mph-depending on the track and air-and it was one of the most consistent cars at our track here in San Antonio. I have decided it's time to get back out there, and the car is basically ready to go, but I'm currently kicking around stepping up quite a bit to NHRA's Top D**gster class, which I think is going to require a different car. This class is not an 'all run' (so long as you run a 7.90 ET or quicker) like the IHRA's T/D class I used to participate in was, b/c after 2 qualifying attempts it only allows the fastest 32 cars (that entered) to race in eliminations. In this NHRA series there's one main requirement-you cannot dial or predict the ET your car will run in eliminations any faster than 6.1 secs (in the 220 to 230 mph range). I recently traveled to one of these races to help a racer friend of mine and 50 cars showed up for this class-the bump (the ET of the #32 qualifier) was 6.32-and everyone else trying to qualify were done for the weekend. Using this format makes for an incredibly 'tight' field-the 32 fastest cars all ran between a 6.10 and 6.33 ET-meaning only a little over 2 tenths of a sec separates all those who qualified. This is definitely 'hauling ass' in my book, but it will require probably an additional 1500 horsepower to get there (over the approx 1000 I currently have), and I think it might be too much for this car, so I am currently looking for a 'deal' on one that will be a better fit for this class.

Your Comet looks nice... Here's a pic of another one of my previous toys (which I drove for 11-12 yrs everyday) during the late 70's and 80's... It was a 72 Vega with a 350 V8, a M22 'rock crusher' t***s, and a narrowed 9" Ford rearend-it was a blast and ran pretty good.

If Trump had actually done ANYTHING they could prove was illegal, he'd be charged with it right now-you know it.. I do too.. and so does anyone else with a functioning brain who's been paying attention. Clinton's little chance meeting with Lynch was absolutely inappropriate b/c the case was ongoing (and it was no accident either). It is not relevant here-comparing this example to Trump and Barr's relationship is ridiculous as well as distracting. Clinton-the hubby of the person at the center of an active DOJ investigation (even though it was a sham too)-was not in any kind of working relationship w/ Lynch. Lynch had no legitimate reason whatsoever to meet up w/him. On the other hand, Trump and Barr communicating should be expected..not questioned and/or prohibited. To be presented with arguments like this is insulting-there is nothing secretive, clandestine, or illegal going on between our Prez and his AG (or if my use of "his" offends you-the AG he appointed). Barr and Trump can talk anytime either one of them wants..and it's no one's business when (or what) they talk about, so long as Trump doesn't intend to sway Barr concerning this matter. If the Prez does try to intimidate or extort him, we should expect Barr to expose this, and take the proper actions. Until then, everyone should just go about their business and quit speculating about this..which of course, you guy's won't...

Why We Cannot Be Silent
By Dr. Michael Brown - April 19, 2019

Go ahead. Ban me. Block me. Get out your nasty dictionary and vilify me. Call me obsessed. H**eful. Bigoted. Have at it.

The fact is, there are a million things I’d rather write about, but the state of the world leaves me no choice. To be silent is to give tacit approval. To be silent is to accept. To be silent is to capitulate. And that’s not going to happen.

A Democratic leader announces his p**********l candidacy and then turns to kiss his same-sex partner. And the crowd celebrates.

Sorry, but I’m not celebrating.

A growing number of parents are devastated after their vulnerable, confused, t***s-identified daughters have had their breasts removed, only to realize they are actually women. Or their sons have had their private parts altered, only to realize they are actually boys. Dare we be silent? Even Health workers are raising their voices in protest.

As noted by the Kelsey Coalition:

“History is replete with medical scandals. Frontal lobotomies to treat mental illness. Forced sterilization to control ‘undesirable’ populations. The infamous Tuskegee Experiment. Indefensible, unethical medical procedures were performed for years. Why did it take so long to stop them?”
“History is repeating itself.”
Today, “young people are often prescribed risky hormonal treatments . . . . Not a single long-term study supports such risky medical interventions.” Worst of all, “Minor children may be treated surgically. Girls may have their breasts removed at age 13 and their uterus at 16. Teen boys may have their penis and testes removed shortly after their 16th birthday.”
This is social madness. How can we sit idly by?

Our moral framework is collapsing, and our kids and grandkids and great-grandkids will pay dearly. How can I hold my tongue from speaking or restrain my pen from writing?

It is love that motivates me and moves me. Love for God. Love for America. Love for the coming generations. Love for what is best.

You can call it h**e. You can brand me a N**i. That will only encourage me to speak up all the more clearly.

On Monday, I tweeted:

“[Make] no mistake about it: You can be polite, gracious, friendly, kind, and civil when discussing L**T issues. But if you don’t affirm the L**T agenda, you’ll be branded a h**eful, bigoted, N**i homophobe. Don’t be surprised!”
In response, a concerned mom posted:

“Sad t***h! Even my daughter who goes to a Christian school comes under attack for defending what the Bible has to say about homosexuality. She gets so frustrated. Cried today to me about having to defend 2 g****rs among a few of her friends. Jesus said we would be persecuted.”
How can I hold back after reading something like this? And note carefully: It’s happening in Christian schools. Bible-believing schools. Jesus-exalting schools. Or at least, that’s what they’re supposed to be.

Yet even here, the spirit of the world has become so pervasive that it is now controversial to affirm the Christian Scriptures in an allegedly Christian school. It’s controversial to state that there are two g****rs (as opposed to an endless number of g****rs). What on earth is coming next?

No wonder this young lady was in tears. No wonder her mother was grieved. To be unmoved by this is to be indifferent, apathetic, c*********d, and complacent. God forbid that should describe you or me.

Pat Buchanan put all this in context in a recent article, noting that:

“If Pete [Buttigieg] is right, since the time of Christ, Christians have ostracized and persecuted gays simply for being and behaving as God intended. [Buttigieg is the aforementioned gay p**********l candidate.]” “And if that is true, what is the defense of Christianity?” The “progressive” response is simple: Just rewrite the Book!

Buchanan also wrote:

“After the sexual revolution of the ’60s, births out of wedlock rocketed to where 40 percent of all children are born without a father in the home, as are half of Hispanics and 70 percent of all black children.” “Pornography, which used to bring a prison term, today dominates cable TV. Marijuana, once a social scourge, is the hot new product. And Sen. Kamala Harris wants prostitution legalized.”
And on and on it goes.

In our families. In our schools. In our places of business. In the media. In the world of entertainment and sports. And in the world of social media.

Wherever we turn, there is confusion. Deception. Darkness.

And that is because we who have the light are not living as light. Not shining as light. Not walking in t***h. Not speaking the t***h.

That’s why I cannot (and will not) be silent.

What about you?

It’s time we let our light shine – in word and in deed.

Do we really have a choice?
Why We Cannot Be Silent br By Dr. Michael Brown - ... (show quote)

Bahmer..you have already ID'd the main thing we have to do..quit being so quiet about our objections to their obvious agenda(s)-esp concerning exposing our kiddos to the idea that g****r can be wh**ever you want it to be. The same goes for all the same-sex garbage. There's a very good reason why we (used) to try and avoid exposing certain things, and/or allowing some activities to be engaged in, concerning the most innocent amongst us-our children-b/c we realized they were not mentally (or physically) competent to process these issues yet. You can tell most of them any lie you want..and they'll believe you..b/c they are still 'young skulls full of mush'. The LBGxyz brigade doesn't care, so long as they get their way, and they will throw screaming hissy fits about tolerance and understanding concerning what can only be associated with mental illness at this time. If there's any doubt that we shouldn't push kids into these risky lifestyles just go look at the suicide rates for these groups compared to heterosexual rates.

A woman was at her hairdresser's getting her hair styled for a trip to Rome with her husband. She mentioned the trip to the hairdresser, who responded:

"Rome? Why would you want to go there? It's crowded and dirty. So, how are you getting there?"

"We're taking United," was the reply. "We got a great rate!"

"United", exclaimed the hairdresser? "That's a terrible airline. Their planes are old, their flight attendants are ugly, and they're always late. So, where are you staying in Rome?"

"We'll be at this exclusive little place over on Rome's Tiber River called Teste."

"Don't go any further. I know that place. Everybody thinks its going to be something special and exclusive, but it's really a dump."

"We're going to go to see the Vatican and maybe get to see the Pope."

"That's rich," laughed the hairdresser. "You and a million other people trying to see him. He'll look the size of an ant."

"Boy, good luck on this trip of yours. You're going to need it."

A month later, the woman again came in to get her hair styled. The hairdresser asked her about her trip to Rome.

"It was wonderful," explained the woman, "not only were we on time in one of United's brand new planes, but it was overbooked, and they bumped us up to first class. The food and wine were wonderful, and I had a handsome 28-year-old steward who waited on me hand and foot.

And the hotel was great! They'd just finished a $5 million remodeling job, and now it's a jewel, the finest hotel in the city. They, too, were overbooked, so they apologized and gave us their owner's suite at no extra charge!"

"Well," muttered the hairdresser, "that's all well and good, but I know you didn't get to see the Pope."

"Actually, we were quite lucky, because as we toured the Vatican, a Swiss Guard tapped me on the shoulder, and explained that the Pope likes to meet some of the visitors, and if I'd be so kind as to step into his private room and wait, the Pope would personally greet me.

Sure enough, five minutes later, the Pope walked through the door and shook my hand! I knelt down and he spoke a few words to me."

"Oh, really! What'd he say?"

He said: "Who f*cked up your hair?

I've been saying this for years...They can go demand or borrow or steal for their future schemes, but the everyday business of actually funding all the current give-aways is only possible because of the never ending inflow of tax dollars. What they take in daily is staggering..but it all goes right back out..and for reasons which these corrupt pols can't change. Stores, banks, and anyplace that honors/redeems the goods and services which the govt has promised (given)..to typically needy people for assistance (and political support)..can't remain in business long w/o getting reimbursed consistently, and on time, for being the govt's middleman. Disrupting this flow of $$$'s could have a staggering effect on the politicians..and this could possibly be done simply by postponing your contribution(s) for legitimate reasons. What are these poor impoverished people to do without anyplace to get their (free) "stuff'..and who will they complain to, loudly, when they can't??? The bureaucrats don't have a choice in this-they have to take care of those who actually hand the goodies out-and [they] are dependant upon the tax money which comes in daily to keep the machine humming (so they can create new schemes to further puff up their self-imagined importance).
