I would suggest forming 6 committees who will meet independently for 1 week to form proposals on what they could contribute to a workable healthcare plan. Doctors, Nurses, Drug Companies, Hospitals, Insurers and a mixed group of Citizens. At the end of the week a representative from each group will meet to exchange idea's and try to find guidelines that everyone can live with nationwide. Insurer's must allow individual insured's to tailor their policy to their needs. Those groups exempted from ACA must participate in one of the available plans. Illegals showing up at doctors or hospitals for treatment either pay or it's at the expense of the treatment source. This cost may not be passed on. Pregnant illegals should be put on a plane and sent home. ANYTHING ELSE?
Many of the uninsured using the E.R. are illegals. This problem is easy to solve. Simply walk into an E.R. waiting room wearing a jacket that says I.N.S. and look mean. It won't take long for the room to empty.

PeterS, To answer your question we are the exact opposite of the people who voted for a man who felt it necessary to seal records of his past, who was born to communist parents, who never held a legitimate job in his life and who (according to his sister) is trying to live out his father's Muslim, anti-white, anti-colonial dreams. Your 'Hope' has failed and the 'Change' has been anything but good. Murders up, crimes against police up, food stamp recipients up, average household income down, real unemployment rate at just over 9% and these are Federal statistics. So it's time for a new change, time to try something new and we shall see.
Perhaps we need a 3 strike law. Come back a third time and we fly them up to northern Alaska to feed those poor starving polar bears. A win win.

Hi Tanya, I was with you through your first post but you totally lost me with your last post. I'm new around here myself and my views might range from just Left of Chairman Mao to a little Right of John Birch depending on the topic. My world view is "Live & Let Live" and I find that to be true of the vast majority of white people and not so true of black people. Far more blacks are racist that whites. I found that out first hand when I took a job, sight unseen, as an on-site maintenance supervisor in what turned out to be an all black housing community. I lived and worked there for 3 years so I can speak from experience. There's good and bad everywhere, even within families. Your attitude and that of too many blacks is that because your ancestors might have been slaves you are entitled to something. Were YOU ever a slave? Do you know a white person who owns slaves? The biggest problem I see with blacks, especially the males, is that they are so hung up on Not Being White that they screw up their lives. Blacks have free access to education, free public libraries, instructional TV shows and any number of tools for advancement, but that requires work and dedication which is deemed white so they pass. Please consider this: It was African tribal leaders who sold their people into slavery for their own benefit. It is today's black 'leaders' that only show up for demonstrations but do nothing to encourage youth to better themselves. It was the Democrats who instituted segregation and founded the KKK. It was a Republican Abe Lincoln who freed the slaves and tens of thousands of good white men died to make it happen. It was a Republican president Eisenhower who sent federal troops to Little Rock to integrate schools, it was the Republicans in congress who passed the Civil Rights Act over Democrat objections. It's Democratic policies that are meant to keep blacks complacent with lip service but not enough tangible improvements for them to succeed and You seem to have bought it hook line and sinker. This is the land of opportunity if you want it, if not in Alabama then look elsewhere. The only person holding you down is you. As for Trump, it remains to be seen what he will bring but it's certainly not in his interest to start a war. OH, and for the record the Europeans originally came here for religious freedom and in case you haven't heard, slavery still alive and well in parts of Africa. In the 30's thousands of white people lost everything they owned, packed what they could carry and moved on to find work. It's still a viable option.

He spent millions of OUR money to send HIS people to Israel to try to influence the vote. This seems to be a bit more definitive than alleged hacking, when it's been claimed by Wikileaks that their info came from a disillusioned source within the DNC.
Larry, I think we have very good reason to smooth our relations wit Russia and visa versa. Our traditional allies in western Europe are gradually morphing into a Caliphate and when it finally happens both we and Russia will need each other.

Trump hasn't taken office yet so it remains to be seen who will be sorry. As for your figures, bear in mind that "Figures don't lie, but liars can figure". If he fails to deliver on his promises then I will be sorry. However, at this point I'm hopeful and I'm certainly happy that Hillary wasn't elected. Now, if the Democrats can find a candidate in the mold of Kennedy or Truman, you'll get my vote. Now you have a choice, continue to whine and complain or see what you can do to help get the country on the right track.
Recent administrations, Democrat and Republican have hamstrung our military with political correctness and concern over 'collateral damage' to civilians which has resulted in raising the casualty and death rate of our own military. We're fighting an enemy who deliberately hides among women and children. I say we should proclaim to the world that if civilians refuse to oppose terrorists and allow themselves to be used, then they will perish with the terrorists. Why fight house to house, door to door when we have the ability to level the entire city? They want war, war they shall have. Remember, it's those women and children who provide tomorrow's terrorists. End it now or fight it forever.
