Ok, I'm hoping to introduce myself first and then I'm going to try and ask questions about our PEOPLE in Political Offices, because we Middle Class Workers, Business Owners, Poor People, Homeless, and Destitute are trapped in a racist, nonprofiting state.
I'm from Alabama, where I was born and breed in racism. Nothing has changed much here except for the Rich keep getting Richer and the Poor keep getting Poorer. We have a Governor who has been in a Love Affair with one of his Staff Members, gave Her Husband Special Treatment for Bid Jobs, Senators who have been in Office to Long that are just filled with hate, one leaves office and another takes their place, just what have They DONE since they took Office, I CAN'T seem to find anything that has Benefited the People or OUR STATE. THE PEOPLE IN CONGRESS AS WELL! This is a travesty for us as well as our state, this also goes for Local Officials as well.
I'm a Smart, Intelligent WOMAN who can figure out that something is wrong with this Situation! Why are we STILL one of the Poorest States if All these, REPUBLICANS CLAIM THAT THEY HAVE BROUGHT THE INDUSTRY HERE??? Why are they BLOCKING THE MUCH NEEDED MEDICAID SERVICES AND PLANNED PARENTHOOD SERVICES THAT IS A GREAT SERVICE FOR THE PEOPLE OF ALABAMA. I USED THESE SERVICES FOR BOTH OF MY PREGNANCIES, AND I WAS WORKING, and now 23yrs later I'm a Disabled person who stays on pins and needles because The Republican Majority wants to make SOCIAL SECURITY A VOUCHER PROGRAM?? I want to know what are Y'all doing?? What good would that do to an ALREADY POOR STATE.. ?? It will be disastrous!! Not only for the Middle-class families but the Poor and Destitute People who have no options, what do they do? How will this affect our LIVES in the Future, OUR Children's Children..
I know I'm going to get some heated comments, and that's ok. But please if you make a nasty comment, give me a solution to the problems were facing as a person, family, community,town, county, state, country.. If you know you can make a difference in someone's life and can do it without wanting something in RETURN do it, do it humbly, what you get back will be PRICELESS!!!

I feel your pain. I hope you do not expect things to change under Trump. His plans will only benefit the wealthy top of this country. His policies will work against the middle and lower class that elected him. He lied to us all. Keep fighting for what you deserve and elect people who actually care about someone besides themselves.

Welcome Tanya. As my Cuban buddy used to say (something in the milk ain't clean)! There is definitely something wrong and it goes deep. Biggest issue I believe is we ask our Creator to leave and he has. Good conversations here but the libs are ridiculous.

Thanks bbgamers I know GA is a "Republican Majority population" as well, but when you come to your state you see what has been boosted. Yalls Revenue has bolstered since the '80's. I see the Economic growth, the Rise of Community serviceS that has become a
booster to your State.

@wuzblynd, I agree with your friend, my granny used to say, 'there's something fishy about that'. There's a whole lot fishy, lol. I guess when your in office you get complacent and think its ok to line your own pockets as well as your families and friends. Sometimes I forget that's how people get in to these offices in the first place!! But as I grow older, I've become more bolder and tend to call a pot a pot and a lie a lie!! I just want the Truth to be TOLD... I feel like we're not being told the Truth about Election and just how bad our lives are going to be once these People are in Office, I have to because of my Race, my husbands race, my kids race, grandkids race, the ones not here yet.Were universal lol!

Tanya-first of all, do not believe everything you hear or read. Social Security will not be a voucher program. However, Medicaid might be block granted to the States to control costs. You need to relax and allow Trump to take over and begin implementing the people's agenda. He is not out to hurt anyone but he does want to control costs and get more bang for the buck. As for Planned Parenthood-many people believe that it should receive taxpayer money only if they discontinue doing abortions and selling of body parts. Any proposed actions where spending money is involved will go through congress and be thoroughly debated. Trump's goal is to help the poor and the middle class as opposed to hurting them. You might see able bodied people being required to work to receive welfare as they do in Maine. Give it a little time and your fears may be totally allayed. Good Luck America !!!

Tanya dont be put off by some comments you need to develope a fairly thick skin because (WE) will stick our 2 cents out there and you will to.One of the things I enjoy on opp is learning there are some people on here who are very up on politic /law ect. Everyone has their own take on things so you need to learn to see things from a different point of veiw. And there are times some one will post some thing really funny.
