Most of the problem the LA smog is so persistent is due to geographical location. Mountains to the east and north result in a bowl effect that holds air in the LA basin... little circulation to remove the suspended particles..
think Denver has a similar problem... With most of the smog still resulting from cars and trucks, an air inversion will make the day worst, but is not the cause..
No one is against reasonable regulations, however, the number of regulations we have place a unreasonable burden on businesses which stifle job growth and the economy. There is a long list of regulations that we could get rid of. Like the carbon tax. We don't need them.
