This writer doesn't give us any facts. How has he embarrassed us in the eyes of our children, how has he humiliated us on the world stage and how has he divided the nation? Why do so many write in generalities? We need the facts.

His popularity rating is about 45%. Since most of our U.S. population are registered democrats, that isn't too bad.

Why don't you lefties give examples when you make charges? If you were saying Gallagher was a war criminal, then all those who were with him and supported him at that time were also war criminals. They too should be tried, even his superiors.. When a nation is at war k*****g is usually germane to defeating the enemy.

How in the world does a president obstruct congress? It seems like congressman Schiff is doing the obstruction with all his fabrications and silly stories. I can't think of any major bills the house has sent the senate in a long time. Why? Because they are more interested in getting Trump out of office than serving our nation!

How is Trump hurting our country? Our military is now in the best shape it has ever been after the previous administration let it run down. How can one complain about the economy? Wall street is still strong.

Why don't these anti-Trumpers ever get down to brass tacks. All they do is write in generalities. I wish they would give examples ie, obstruction of justice, w***e s*******y etc. etc.

Sen. Edward “Ted” Kennedy had “selfish political and ideological motives” when he made secret overtures to the Soviet Union’s spy agency during the Cold War to thwart then-President Ronald Reagan’s re-e******n, a Reagan biographer said in an interview with The Daily Signal.
When they came to light years later, Kennedy’s secret contacts with the Russians through their KGB spy agency in the early 1980s didn’t cause nearly the tizzy that Russia’s alleged interference with this year’s e******n has for President-elect Donald Trump among liberal activists and reporters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, with whom Trump has said he hopes to “get along,” is a former foreign intelligence officer and lieutenant colonel in the KGB.
In the 1980s, Kennedy was “terribly misguided” and “a fool” for seeing Reagan as a greater threat than either the leader of the Soviet Union or the head of its brutal secret police and intelligence agency, political science professor and writer Paul Kengor told The Daily Signal.

The p**********l hopeful’s secret correspondence with the Soviet spy service was first reported Feb. 2, 1992, by the London Times in an article headlined “Teddy, the KGB and the Top Secret File.”
As this reporter wrote in 2010, the story focused on a 1983 document from the spy agency detailing Kennedy’s overtures to top officials in the former Soviet Union. The Massachusetts Democrat had challenged President Jimmy Carter in the 1980 Democratic primaries and was considering the possibility of running again for president.
In a letter addressed to then-Soviet General Secretary Yuri Andropov, dated May 14, 1983, KGB head Viktor Chebrikov explained that Kennedy was eager to “counter the militaristic policies” of Reagan, who defeated Carter as the Republican nominee, and to undermine his prospects for re-e******n in 1984.

It certainly is a federal question. Unless I am mistaken the president receives his pay from the federal treasury. If the states came together in a constitutional convention, then they could amend the constitution to allow the a popular v**e by the states to elect the president.

I think it would be very difficult to amend the constitution to do this. The smaller states need some protection from the larger states over-running them. The six largest states COULD be in control of everything legal thing that happens or doesn't happen in the United States.

I think a lot of anti-Trumpers would agree to this. After all one day democrats will be in office as a result of the e*******l college. I think we should leave the constitution alone
