Then I think we should stop putting alll our eggs in the federal basket. We have a Constitution which adequately protects state and local municipalities. The feds have never survived a showdown with them when seriously confronted (see Joshua Glover in Wisconsin under the Tenth Amendment). Federal encroachment is a cancer in the civic body and can be excised only by stopping the addiction to federal kool aid and following the laws already in force.
