Oh my. I am glad you enjoyed your wife's pregnancy, and had so much fun with your pre-born daughter. Was your wife as happy about your hypothesis testing as you were? Every child is a gift from God, and a treasure beyond worth. So nice to see how much you enjoyed it all. Society has sadly forgotten how important fathers are, both to sons and daughters. Sons grow up to be much more confident and better men with a good father and good relationship with him. Daughters grow up to be much happier and more relaxed with a good relationship with a good father. God bless you, your wife and daughter, Enjoy what God has blessed you with. I did, and now I have a wonderful son-in-law to love, who's a loving best friend and husband to my dear daughter and a great father to my 3 fabulous grandchildren.

I would say that China even on capitalism isn't all that great for the Chinese people. They still have no liberty, and are monitored relentlessly.

I live out in the country, and have left my door unlocked on a number of occasions. The mess, (3 grandchildren, 4 dogs, 7 cats, 2 horses and a donkey, though the horses and the donkey don't come in the house, although I used to have a Welsh Pony that figured out how to push the door open, we had to block the front porch off so she couldn't get up there) was always there waiting for me

I’m sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of Democratic candidates calling for policies to “fix” the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook’s, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we’ve become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don’t give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty. One. Times. Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful.

Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, “An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest e*****rates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity.”

Never saw American prosperity. Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I’ve ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Now, I’m not attributing Miss Ocasio-Cortez’s words to outright dishonesty. I do think she whole-heartedly believes the words she said to be true. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let’s just say I didn’t have the popular opinion, but I digress.

Let me lay down some universal t***hs really quick. The United States of America has lifted more people out of abject poverty, spread more freedom and democracy, and has created more innovation in technology and medicine than any other nation in human history. Not only that but our citizenry continually breaks world records with charitable donations, the rags to riches story is not only possible in America but not uncommon, we have the strongest purchasing power on earth, and we encompass 25% of the world’s GDP. The list goes on. However, these universal t***hs don’t matter. We are told that income ine******y is an existential crisis (even though this is not an indicator of prosperity, some of the poorest countries in the world have low-income ine******y), we are told that we are oppressed by capitalism (even though it’s brought about more freedom and wealth to the most people than any other system in world history), we are told that the only way we will acquire the benefits of true prosperity is through socialism and centralization of federal power (even though history has proven time and again this only brings tyranny and suffering).

Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they’ve never seen prosperity, and as a result, elect politicians dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this, my generation has ONLY seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn’t live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, or see the rise and fall of socialism and c*******m. We don’t know what it’s like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don’t have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it’s spreading like a plague.

With the current political climate giving rise to the misguided idea of a socialist utopia, will we see the light? Or will we have to lose it all to realize that what we have now is true prosperity? Destroying the free market will undo what millions of people have died to achieve.

My generation is becoming the largest v****g bloc in the country. We have an opportunity to continue to propel us forward with the gifts capitalism and democracy has given us. The other option is that we can fall into the trap of entitlement and relapse into restrictive socialist destitution. The choice doesn’t seem too hard, does it?

susanblange has some extremely off the wall ideas on scripture, it is very hard to have dialogue, but I simply avoid discussing the issue with her.

There is a serpent seed doctrine that explains the Eden story as Satan was the tree of knowledge of good and evil, was pleasing to the eye, and beguiled, (Hebrew t***slates beguiled as wholly seduced) Eve, who also encouraged Adam, introducing both Eve and Adam to carnal knowledge. Their eyes were opened and they realized they were naked. Eve conceived twins, Cain, (by Satan,) and Abel, (by Adam.) Oddly enough Cain is not listed as Adam's descendant. It is of course a little more involved, but that is the gest of the serpent seed doctrine.

EVERY time socialism is tried it fails, and fails miserably. Democrat/socialists deceitfully point to Denmark and Sweden, which are NOT socialists societies, but free market economies with large welfare states, (that they are cutting back on because they can no longer afford these policies.) When Bernie Sanders and AOC say they are not talking about Venezuela or Cuba, they are outright lying

I believe that outrage exists. It is simply not reported, thanks to a corrupted, false narrative media that is in league with the left. The left, Democrat/socialists ,RINOs and the media, STILL have utter contempt for the people who were so fed up with the blatant corruption and abuse of power, that they v**ed Donald Trump into office. And they still think they can find a way to c***t, or fool the American people into giving them back the power they crave. The question is as radical, h**e-filled and unhinged as they have become, are they willing to try to take back that power if the American people won't be c***ted or fooled? The astonishing fact that there as been an attempt at a political c**p, (here in the U.S., like some third world banana republic, it almost succeeded, and is still ongoing,) illustrates the totalitarian mind-set these political thugs have. They have demonstrated they are willing to do just about anything to gain and wield power and control. Are they willing to remove the just about, and actually do anything? It is appalling that this needs to be considered, but it does.

Barr Insists that Public Should Know if Democrats Abused Power with Russia Probe
By BarbWire - May 18, 2019

When President Donald Trump nominated William Barr to be his next Attorney General, I was concerned that he would not do anything about the illegal actions of Democrats.

However, Barr is pleasantly surprising myself and many others with his announcements of investigating those behind and involved with the Mueller investigation.

It’s ironic that the Democrats demanded an investigation and now they are the ones being investigated.

Democrats also demanded that the public know what the Mueller report said and now that shoe is being put on the other foot as Attorney General Barr says the public should know if Democrats abused power and ‘put their thumb on the scale’ concerning the Mueller Russia probe.

Fox News – AG Bill Barr tells Fox News public must know if officials ‘put their thumb on the scale’ in Russia probe – In an exclusive interview with Fox News, Attorney General William Barr explained that he is trying to get to the bottom of whether or not “government officials abused their power and put their thumb on the scale” during the early stages of the Russia probe.

“I’ve been trying to get answers to the questions and I’ve found that a lot of the answers have been inadequate and some of the explanations I’ve gotten don’t hang together, in a sense I have more questions today than when I first started,” Barr told Fox News’ Bill Hemmer in an interview set to air Friday on “America’s Newsroom.”

“What doesn’t hang together?” Hemmer asked.

“Some of the explanations of what occurred,” Barr said…

Ever hear the saying about what goes around comes around?

Seems this is what’s happening to Democrats who kept demanding for action be taken to investigate Trump, knowing that their allegations were ‘trumped up’.

Democrats had hoped to destroy the Trump presidency, but now that they are the ones being investigated for their actions, it may well be (and hopefully will be) the Democrats who get their undoing.

It would be great justice to a number of Democrats end with being indicted and sent to prison, just like they had hoped for Trump and Republicans.

AG Barr is in fact a certified member of the establishment. But it looks like this level of s*******s corruption and abuse of power is just too much for some establishment politicians to overlook.
