There was an article recently on DML (right lean) about a guy on a college campus that has a jewish presence who is parading swastikas and anti jewish h**e rhetoric like advocating burning jews. The college says they can't prohibit this without interfering with his freedom of speech.

Seems to me the guy is way over the line of what can be considered h**e and inciting violence. Common sense needs to prevail here, someone will obviously get hurt with crap like that.

Have you ever heard the quote "I do not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it --- E.B.Hall" While I h**e with all my heart what this vile person has to say they have a right to say it --- if they start to act on their beliefs then we can nail his hide to the wall !!!!!!

You usually take such a different line of reasoning on these things. Obviously, the guy is not considered conservative or the student body would have shut him down, and you didn't identify which collage in particular.
So, I'm wondering what is the purpose of posting this thread with no details? as you HAVE to know that conservatives are pro free speech.

Hey as long as they ban all Conservative speakers on Colleges, who cares about swastikas, right ? Can you imagine if they had let Ann Coulter set foot on that campus or if this guy had been wearing a MAGA hat ? I am glad this college drew the line where it did.

He should have been censored...

Advocating for the "Burning" of any group is h**e speech... But carries particular weight considering the plight of the Jews during the Holocaust...

A college campus is a public venue... And should be subject to respect....

I fail to see how "someone will obviously get hurt with crap like that."... But the potential is there...

Freedom of speech is a right that is often abused... Sadly..

Since as you say, there is no link, lets us just call it Any College USA. At Any College USA wearing a MAGA hat is a far worse crime than displaying a Swastika, or spewing Anti Semitic Rhetoric. I love that young l*****ts have such strict standards for controlling H**e Speech and Non Conformist thinking. Obama forbid that young impressionable skulls full of mush be exposed to free speech. Newspeak and double plus good is much gooder to keep everyone thinking in the approved ways.

that's awful. The MOST awful is that it's considered "free speech". And conservative students on most campuses receive that same treatment. Our standards are gone

Sadly on college campuses anymore there is little right to free speech - which makes it all the more egregious that this person is allowed to run his mouth.

Incite-full it is.. Terrible shame that it usually takes action of the words before authorities can get involved, unless the words are considered “h**e” driven..

Numerous colleges have cancelled conservative guest speakers and no one said a thing about it..

This guy needs to shut up, have a serious warning administered by the college that they consider it h**e or booted if its an ongoing situation with this guy.. Freedom of speech does not guarantee h**e speech hold exception....

Although I must admit he is entitled to free speech as much as I think it sounds more like h**e rhetoric, who am I to say??
