Here is a list which may be used to diagnose how far from reality an individual is. Holding six or more of the beliefs qualifies you for membership in the Tea Party. Ten or more is an indication that you have lost nearly all touch with reality and are a candidate for in-patient psychiatric care.

1. G****l w*****g is a h**x.

2. Not sure Obama was born in the U.S.

3. Obama is a secret Muslim.

4. Handgun control violates the Second Amendment.

5. Licensed gun owners should be able to "carry" at any public event, in public buildings, schools, etc.

6. "Drill baby drill" is the answer to energy issues

7. Evolution is an unproved theory.

8. Creationism or "intelligent" design should be taught in public schools.

9. Affirmative action amounts to discrimination against w****s.

10. Sharia law is spreading across the US.

11. Government is the enemy.

12. Free markets will solve nearly all problems.

13. The graduated income tax amounts to unfair and unconstitutional confiscation.

14. The Education Department, the EPA and other Executive Branch agencies should be eliminated.

15. Foreign aid is a waste of taxpayer's money and should be discontinued.

16. The right of workers to organize unions and bargain collectively with employers should be curtailed.

17. Capital punishment is necessary to deter crimes and provide justice to victims.

18. Law and order should be a higher priority; prison sentences should be longer and parole standards tightened.

19. Sex education in public schools should be confined to abstinence only.

20. A******n is murder and should be illegal.

21. The "gay agenda" is a menace to American traditions and institutions.

22. All i*****l i*******ts should be deported.

23. Corporations should have all the same rights as people--except to be held criminally accountable.

24. Do you believe that Tea Party candidates are prophets sent by God to save the world?

25. Social Security is a Ponzi scheme which should be "privatized."

Capitalism has taken more people out of poverty and created more prosperity than any other economic system in the history of the world.

The AMA is a private entity that regulates anyone’s right to become a doctor. SO WHAT ARE YOU SAYING HERE

To be an accountant, you get your license from the state. If you pass the test you become an accountant. Finding a job is your problem. ETC

If you want to be an architect, you have to pass the state examines and if successful, you get your license, finding a job is your problem. EFC

Electricians, Plumbers, Builders, hair dressers and even lawyers get their licences from the state and finding a job is their problem. ETC

But when it comes to doctors, they get their license from a private entity that decides how many licenses they will issue regardless of how many apply. IS THAT GOOD OR BAD?

No matter how many people are qualified to become a doctor, they will not be allowed to try, because the AMA will only issue so many licenses. IS THIS GOOD OR BAD?

How does this jive with a free country, inalienable rights, capitalism or anything else. fFR ME I WOULD LIKE TO THINK THAT THERE IS SOME MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE OR SK**L

We have a commerce clause, in the Constitution, to promote commerce and keep the states from withholding resources from each other and interfering with the prosperity of the American people. SO

But, the states have in-acted laws that will not allow the purchasing of insurance policies across state lines, making the citizens of any particular state a captive market to the whims of state legislators and wh**ever insurance company they approve. SO


Do I have to write you a book to explain how bad an idea this is? Do I have to do your thinking for you?


We are subsidizing the greed and incompetence of the drug companies and when people went out of the country, to buy the drugs they needed, to get out from under the thumb of the tyrannical drug lords, our government wrote laws forbidding it. Literally outlawing the force of capitalism, this is un-American in more ways than one. I AGREE WITH YOU HERE BUT THIS WAS UNDER bUSH



Do I have to do your thinking for you. Are you incapable of reasoning or of using common sense?

Do I have to explain to you that just because people drive off the road into trees and survive, that it isn't really a good idea for you to do it and as a society we ought to consider putting up guards rails, in certain places, to help people stay on the road.

IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE SAFE ROADS

Or do have to lead you by the hand, to every guard rail, on every road, and point out why each one is needed in that spot.
