My favorite part of AOC is listening to people who have to defend her. Personally, I think she is awesome, a beautiful gift to conservatives in that she is vocal, popular and not afraid to say wh**ever pops into her head. The more she talks the better I like it. There is already talk of eliminating her district because of the headaches she has brought to the (slightly) more mainstream Dem party. I dearly hope that after she goes one and done in Congress, she hosts a talk show and keeps right on talking. Even here in Illinois, her brilliant ideas have converted more dems to Republicans than anything else in history.

I grew up with “you can eat it and like it; eat it and don’t like it; or don’t eat it, but that’s what you’re getting!” However, in the wilds of west central Illinois, there was plenty of wild game and I grew up on a cattle farm so fresh grass fed meat was always available. There were Chinese buffets and Mexican places in Peoria and Galesburg so we got that once in a while. This was 45-50 yrs ago. Mom was a good cook and other than dad wanting the nasty liver and onions every so often the food was always good. We had a big garden and did our own freezing and canning, something which I still do for myself. I personally like a nice thick chicken veggie soup in a slow cooker on a weekend.

I work at the unemployment office here in Illinois. My current job description is to find work for people who are recently separated or unemployed. I call people all day and tell them about jobs that they are qualified for and if I get 5 percent that actually apply we are pretty happy. Maybe one percent get hired. The rest just don’t bother applying and the ones that do apply either can’t pass a drug test or can’t or won’t show up to work. I constantly hear about how they just want to work, how they h**e sitting around home but when I look at the job history and they’ve had 5 jobs in a year and have quit two and been fired from the others I get a little cynical. Personally, I think at least in my area if single people get kicked off food stamps then they will just go get a job.

Looks like he was using it to push as the tree was being cut down.. was pushing too hard and there was a breakout split from the saw cut and when the tree fell it scooped the tractor on the way by. Not that bad. Just cut the rest of the trunk off and when it starts to go it’ll set the tractor down. I grew up on a farm and have seen a lot of weirdness happen.

Great video frosty! I love Lake Superior. About 30 yrs ago I took a ferry to the north end of isle royale and took 5 days and hiked to the other end. Good times. The weather wasn’t quite that interesting though

I actually read the swift boat veterans book on Kerry. If you haven’t read it I highly recommend it. It was not presented as political in any form. It was a matter of fact fairly dry presentation of his service and his actions during and after he served. Should and investigation ever occur, which it won’t because he’s one of the protected species, it will show he committed treason by giving information and aid to an active enemy nation. Nowhere in the book was there any speculation. It was all verifiable eyewitness and documented facts.
