I agree with your proposal about legislators.

On legislation:
l, 2, and 3. No way. You are way off base.
4. Worthy of discussion.
5 and 6. I agree.
7. has merit. Needs discussion and refinement.
8 and 9. I agree.

On immigration. Makes as much sense as most of the "stuff" I've read.

This proves that you can agree with the opposition on a lot of things.

I've always said Townhall is a Heritage Foundation fraud. One of its main functions is to get Americans to cooperate in their own demise by gutting the EPA and getting the public to view clean water and clean air through the lens of the Koch (we-don't-need-no-c****e-health-rules-brothers). The Heritage Foundation is little more than an advocacy front for the corporate rape of the American landscape. Have these folks ever met a strip mine that they didn't view as a national treasure???

Clean water. Clean air. The children of tomorrow will think these are fairy tales dreamed up by their grandparents. My grandson, who has skin problems, has moved in with me because the water where my son lives hurts his skin.

I was talking personal tax rates not corporate. The more I try to understand these, the more confused I get. Why do we tax businesses anyway? Oh yes, so tax lawyers and accountants have a job.

The Tea Party has one good idea. Balance the budget. I strongly object to the way they want to do it. For instance, the farm bill. It was okay to pay farmers not to work (not to plant their land) but not okay to give food stamps to people who could not find a job. Abuse here? Of course, but they want to punish the many for the abuse of the few.

I'm too lazy to go back and check my sources for exact numbers, but when Eisenhower started the interstate highway system the top tax rate was about 70%. Kennedy put a man in space on about 60% (and he complained the rate was too high). We are about 40% now and can't even fix the pot holes.

I've learned.... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.

I've learned... That life is tough, but I'm tougher.

I've learned.... That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.

I've learned.... That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.

I've learned.... That I wish I could have told my Mom that I love her one more time before she passed away.

I've learned.... That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.

I've learned..... That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

I've learned..... That when your newly born grandchild holds your little finger in his little fist, that you're hooked for life.

I've learned.... That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.

I've learned.... That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

A gun would not have ben my preference for a gift, but it beats what his female office companions suggested--a crock pot. I wanted a joiner. Woodworking was my passion--not cooking.

You are so goddamn stupid it isn't funny....I guess you think i***ts spewing their bulls**t nonstop is worth more than Senior Officers findings in the Navy who gave him his Medals? When you take the word of i***ts over that of the Navy who gave him those Medals it proves what a illiterate gullible moron you are. You're so dumb you probably think the Navy didn't check out the reports that lead them to give him his medals.

You really are stupid if you believe the crap you posted.
