Valentines Day is here, and I think I got it right this year!!
Its a long story, but I found the most immaculate Remington mod. 1100 LT 20 for Mrs. Bunker!! That is a special gun to her, and I think she will be happy!! Oh! She's getting ammo too! Also some flowers.
Yes I am bragging on myself!! It covers me for the anniversary too.
I'm excited!!

I hope she has an even temper and not much of a taste for strong drink.

It is a sentimental thing. As a girl, she used to go bird hunting with that shotgun. Her older brother always took her. He is no longer here.
You poor unfeeling souls just have no clue do you?

Good deal. Can't use that myself as she already has three. Instead she gets a new tablet to play games on.

Good for you! Ms. Bunker is a very lucky lady.

Let us know about her reaction!

Please don't get me wrong the 1100 is a fine shotgun and a generous gift it just reminds me of the year I opted to get the little lady a beautiful Sthil chainsaw, as thoughtful as the gift and sentiment was it went over about as well as a loud fart in church. I guess I should have thrown in the flowers. I wish you better results.

Kevyn, you are quite sharp today. Kudos.

I have been to 16 foreign countries and 38 states. I have never met a single man who gave a woman a shotgun as a present. This doofus must have been such an incredible loser with women in his youth.

Clueless, absolutely clueless. Just the kind of manly-man that Vladimir Putin would like to date.

I do not think him clueless, if you read further on, it is a sentimental gift. You are the one that is clueless, not everyone IS OBLIGATED to think the way you do. Gifts should always come from the heart, not the SOS that men think that other men are giving to their significant other! Sometimes your comments are so unthinking that I wonder if you should see a doctor to make sure you do not have the onset of senile dementia; here is a link so you can check out the symptoms.

Congratulations for understanding how and what should be the determining factor in a gift. You are correct. It is not what someone else says is correct but what the giver knows to be correct.

Price a Perazzii or Beretta shotgun and then talk about love. Definitely go for the Perazzii Skeet or Trap shotgun. OOPPS ...not in your tiny flower budget?
