Any objective evaluation of the "investigation" by those with the full authority and responsibility to do it would conclude no real investigation took place. You have a sitting President announcing that an alleged ongoing investigation revealed not a smidgeon of corruption - that showed, if nothing else, that no such investigation was taking place. You had a DOJ who claimed to be doing an investigation but then revealed that after more than a year of this investigation they were not even aware that critical e-mails that would normally be part of any investigation were destroyed. Not being aware of that can only be considered incompetent or corrupt itself.

Meanwhile, the fact that tea party organizations were targeted has never really been in dispute - that is exactly what Lerner's planted question and her answer admitted to from the very start. A real investigation would determine is a law was broken - one we're not likely to get with this administration.

I am asking for no rights to be denied, nor am I raging. Intelligent observation is hardly rage.

Meanwhile, that some tea party folks would expect their social security and Medicare benefits continue in no way changes anything I said - and I would hope your observations were more intelligent and less meager attempts at demeaning folks with a different opinion that yours.

Excellent points. If they ever can the erased emails they might actually have something to go on. However, countless computers erased the Lerner emails at close to the same time, while no others were "lost" but it was just an accident, OF COURSE

I am not sure that it matters which one was his sire, which is what the DNA would show. Davis was his mentor for years, apparently did drugs with him, and considering Davis's propensity for d*****t sex, and several sources claims, he was also Obama's sex partner, so if he produced the DNA that Obama has, that would just be another connection between the two, and probably not the most important one.

I guess I am just dense but I can't understand why anyone would be offended with the Roman Catholic version of a prayer
I was raised in the Episcopal church which I left when I left home. Since then I have attended many church services in different denominations and have found some welcoming and others not. When we moved down south we started attending a Baptist church. The pastor seemed to be less than welcoming when I revealed that I was not well versed in the Bible, and when he found out that we worked with teenage victims of sexual abuse, his response was"if they didn't welcome the sex, they would have fought back, so the boys must be homosexual, and are not welcome here, nor is anyone who accepts homosexuality" SHADES OF MY FATHER!!! We never went back but did find a nondenominational church where the people have been wonderful and we and "our boys" and the foster parents they often live with are always welcome. I realize that it was the pastor and not the denomination, but he certainly was not behaving in a Godly manner. So we are still lacking in Bible learning, and appreciate Armageddon's help when we ask for it. Still having problems following many of the discussions by those of you who have studied the Bible, but I am trying (SWMBO says I am very trying, but that is a different story) God bless you all for your patience.

Subject: BRING POTATO CHIPS
Take 60 seconds to read this story. It will give you time to settle your brain, gather your thoughts, calm down, and finish your week off on a positive note.

Potato Chips

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a big bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer, and started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old man. He was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to him and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer, when he noticed that the old man looked hungry, so he offered him some chips. The man gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.

His smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered him a root beer. Again, he smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old man, and gave him a hug. He gave him his biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? He's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old man, also radiant with joy, returned to his home. His son was stunned by the look of peace on his face and he asked, "Dad, what did you do today that made you so happy?"

He replied "I ate potato chips in the park with God." However, before his son responded, he added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally!

Have lunch with God.......bring chips.

God still sits on the throne. You may be going through a tough time right now but God is getting ready to bless each of us in a way that only He can. Keep the faith!

Here is the prayer:

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and internet buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Protect the Iraqi families trapped on that mountain, and bless the Kurds for aiding Christians. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is fear, give them Your strength, and comfort them with aid. Bless and hear our prayers for their well being.

when was gun safety taught in schools

Back in the dark ages when I was in school many high schools had a gun club, with shooting competitions. Not as well supported by the schools, and not considered a spectator sport like football, the participation was still pretty good. Usually it was rural schools that had such clubs. There are no more such clubs for the same reason that the armed forces are not allowed to be part of jobs day at schools, it is not politically correct to support them. Politically correct is the rule, not the exception which is way during "Gay P***e" week which many high schools have, L***Q groups come in and teach and hand out literature, but groups of former gays, or those who no longer act on those urges, like P-Fox, Parents and Friends of es gays, are not allowed to hand out literature or even present themselves to the student body. Politically correct rules the day and any challenges to those concepts is h**e speech. Unfortunately most people do not have the guts to stand up and say "Enough is enough"

You're correct in your assessment Dave. Minimum wage is a s**m that has always been perpetuated by union bosses. In spite of what proponents claim, minimum wage has never helped raise people out of poverty but it has cost jobs and padded union pockets.

If you imagine all wages to be represented by a ladder whose first rung is currently at 7.25 and the top rung is in the millions, what is being asked is to raise that first rung. You have raised it too high for some people just entering the job market and they can't reach it to get started. But you have also created a situation where those people who are employed on a rung just above that first rung feel that they need a raise. And, if that happens, the people on the rung just above that want theirs. And so it goes.

Another falsehood is that employers are depicted as evil Scrooges who want to c***t their employees. Granted, that i***t does exist but, by far the majority of employers are looking for the best people and are willing to pay them when they find them and reward them in order to keep them. There exists a competition for good employees at all levels. People should be paid what they're worth.

And lastly, if a minimum wage made any sense at all (which it doesn't) it could only be justified on a state-by-state basis. A Federal minimum wage is a preposterous idea that only an intellectual could embrace.

Not all folks conclude e******y is the same as what you conclude - and the final story of how helpful or destructive same sex marriage to society is yet to be written. Both of these give credence to the reality that you have limited inputs.

There was a time when a definition of marriage was pretty simple - man and woman. Perhaps you can write a new definition, but to my knowledge there were no restrictions on anyone from marrying one under that definition - with the exception of age of consent and relationship.

By the way, you might want to check that idea that Republicans were the only ones - DOMA was widely supported by Democrats - signed by a guy named Clinton - and as recent as the 2008 P**********l campaigns - both major Democratic candidates opposed what you call equal rights. Suspect your sources don't bother to either inform or remind you of that simple fact.

Same sex marriage is a relative new concept in America. However, Norway has had de facto same sex marriage since the early90s, so they have had more experience with it. Anthropologist Stanley Kurts in"The Eng of Marriage in Scandinavia" writes that when we look at Norway we see a place where marriage itself has almost totally disappeared. Marriage and childbearing are no longer connected, and two people of the opposite sex raising children in a committed relation are no longer deemed necessary. On the whole, only 37 percent of people from countries with same sex marriage think they should marry if they want to have children, while sixty percent of people without same sex marriage think so. (source The Future of Marriage by David Blankenship.
It was never the intention of activists for same sex marriage to have marriage be common in same sex relationships. Professor Judith Stacy of USC stated "I object to the profoundly discriminatory and antidemocratic character that the policies (marriage) promotes (Judith Stacey "Letters" The Nation October 1, 2001. Her disdain for marriage is so great that she actually applauds rising divorce rates. Despite this Stacey is one of the staunchest supporters of same sex marriage. In fact most people who professionally dislike marriage support same-sex marriage (The Future of Marriage) Michelangelo Signorile a prominent "Gay Rights" activist says "The most subversive action lesbian and gay men can undertake is to t***sform the notion of family entirely." (Signorile "Bridal Wave OUT December 1994) In countries where same-sex marriage is legal there is a rush for marriage at the beginning, but the end stage numbers indicate 1 to 4 % of homosexuals actually marry. (Blankenhorn "The future of Marriage") As far back as activists book "After the Ball" the concept was to change the culture fully , reinvent society, Some of the writings by the authors indicate that, in addition to making all sexual behaviors "normal", their backgrounds as "progressives" were for a collectivist state controlled society.

The wonder of animalsÂ…. Enjoy.

THE ELEPHANT'S JOURNEY TO PAY RESPECT,

BUT HOW DID THEY KNOW?

Lawrence Anthony,

a legend in South Africa and author of 3 books including the bestseller,

The Elephant Whisperer.

He bravely rescued wildlife and rehabilitated elephants all over the globe

from human atrocities, including the courageous rescue of Baghdad Zoo

animals during US invasion in 2003.

On March 7, 2012 Lawrence Anthony died.

He is remembered and missed by his wife, 2 sons, 2 grandsons, and

numerous elephants.

Two days after his passing, the wild elephants showed up at his home

led by two large matriarchs. Separate wild herds arrived in droves

to say goodbye to their beloved 'man-friend'.

A total of 31 elephants had patiently walked over 112 miles

to get to his South African House.

Witnessing this spectacle, humans were obviously in awe not only

because of the supreme intelligence and precise timing that these

elephants sensed about Lawrence 's passing, but also because of

the profound memory and emotion the beloved animals evoked

in such an organized way: Walking slowly, for days,

making their way in a solemn one-by-one queue from their habitat

to his house. Lawrence 's wife, Francoise, was especially touched,

knowing that the elephants had not been to his house prior to that day for well over 3 years!

But yet they knew where they were going. The elephants obviously

wanted to pay their deep respects, honoring their friend

who'd saved their lives - so much respect that

they stayed for 2 days 2 nights without eating anything.

Then one morning, they left, making their long journey

back home.

SOMETHING IN THE UNIVERSE IS GREATER

AND DEEPER THAN HUMAN INTELLIGENCE

And some will say there is no God,

try and tell that to the elephants. . . ..
