Of course, their numbers are going down a little temporarily compared to what they normally are (not compared to other news outlets) because it's the middle of the summer and all the regulars are going on vacation for two weeks at a time, one after the other, so they're having less known, less popular fill ins. Regardless their numbers are far far higher than any of the other news outlets because people like to hear the real news and t***h in news instead of heavily biased l*****t bull s**t to mold your thinking by letting you know only what they want you to know. It is Obama news that is put out by the same people that selected Obama for you to be your president by showing you videos of this unknowing guy's trips to other countries and saying about how all these people of other countries loved him and suggesting that you should too. You've been suckered and you still are because you believe the l*****t bull s**t about Fox news in stead of actually watching it for a while and learning something. You might also notice they are always having left and right people on the program debating the issues. You certainly don't see that on any of the l*****t news outlets because they can't debate conservatives without getting creamed, so all they can do is spout their bull s**t and that's why none of them are near as popular as Fox

Any objective evaluation of the "investigation" by those with the full authority and responsibility to do it would conclude no real investigation took place. You have a sitting President announcing that an alleged ongoing investigation revealed not a smidgeon of corruption - that showed, if nothing else, that no such investigation was taking place. You had a DOJ who claimed to be doing an investigation but then revealed that after more than a year of this investigation they were not even aware that critical e-mails that would normally be part of any investigation were destroyed. Not being aware of that can only be considered incompetent or corrupt itself.

Meanwhile, the fact that tea party organizations were targeted has never really been in dispute - that is exactly what Lerner's planted question and her answer admitted to from the very start. A real investigation would determine is a law was broken - one we're not likely to get with this administration.

I am asking for no rights to be denied, nor am I raging. Intelligent observation is hardly rage.

Meanwhile, that some tea party folks would expect their social security and Medicare benefits continue in no way changes anything I said - and I would hope your observations were more intelligent and less meager attempts at demeaning folks with a different opinion that yours.

Potato Chips

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with a big bag of potato chips and a six-pack of root beer, and started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old man. He was sitting in the park, just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to him and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink from his root beer, when he noticed that the old man looked hungry, so he offered him some chips. The man gratefully accepted it and smiled at him.

His smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered him a root beer. Again, he smiled at him. The boy was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As twilight approached, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave; but before he had gone more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old man, and gave him a hug. He gave him his biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face. She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?" He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what? He's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old man, also radiant with joy, returned to his home. His son was stunned by the look of peace on his face and he asked, "Dad, what did you do today that made you so happy?"

He replied "I ate potato chips in the park with God." However, before his son responded, he added, "You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime! Embrace all equally!

God still sits on the throne. You may be going through a tough time right now but God is getting ready to bless each of us in a way that only He can. Keep the faith!

Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and internet buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power. Protect the Iraqi families trapped on that mountain, and bless the Kurds for aiding Christians. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is fear, give them Your strength, and comfort them with aid. Bless and hear our prayers for their well being.

You're correct in your assessment Dave. Minimum wage is a s**m that has always been perpetuated by union bosses. In spite of what proponents claim, minimum wage has never helped raise people out of poverty but it has cost jobs and padded union pockets.

If you imagine all wages to be represented by a ladder whose first rung is currently at 7.25 and the top rung is in the millions, what is being asked is to raise that first rung. You have raised it too high for some people just entering the job market and they can't reach it to get started. But you have also created a situation where those people who are employed on a rung just above that first rung feel that they need a raise. And, if that happens, the people on the rung just above that want theirs. And so it goes.

Another falsehood is that employers are depicted as evil Scrooges who want to c***t their employees. Granted, that i***t does exist but, by far the majority of employers are looking for the best people and are willing to pay them when they find them and reward them in order to keep them. There exists a competition for good employees at all levels. People should be paid what they're worth.

And lastly, if a minimum wage made any sense at all (which it doesn't) it could only be justified on a state-by-state basis. A Federal minimum wage is a preposterous idea that only an intellectual could embrace.

Not all folks conclude e******y is the same as what you conclude - and the final story of how helpful or destructive same sex marriage to society is yet to be written. Both of these give credence to the reality that you have limited inputs.

There was a time when a definition of marriage was pretty simple - man and woman. Perhaps you can write a new definition, but to my knowledge there were no restrictions on anyone from marrying one under that definition - with the exception of age of consent and relationship.

By the way, you might want to check that idea that Republicans were the only ones - DOMA was widely supported by Democrats - signed by a guy named Clinton - and as recent as the 2008 P**********l campaigns - both major Democratic candidates opposed what you call equal rights. Suspect your sources don't bother to either inform or remind you of that simple fact.

THE ELEPHANT'S JOURNEY TO PAY RESPECT,

BUT HOW DID THEY KNOW?



Lawrence Anthony,

a legend in South Africa and author of 3 books including the bestseller,

The Elephant Whisperer.

He bravely rescued wildlife and rehabilitated elephants all over the globe

from human atrocities, including the courageous rescue of Baghdad Zoo

animals during US invasion in 2003.



On March 7, 2012 Lawrence Anthony died.

He is remembered and missed by his wife, 2 sons, 2 grandsons, and

numerous elephants.



Two days after his passing, the wild elephants showed up at his home

led by two large matriarchs. Separate wild herds arrived in droves

to say goodbye to their beloved 'man-friend'.



A total of 31 elephants had patiently walked over 112 miles

to get to his South African House.





Witnessing this spectacle, humans were obviously in awe not only

because of the supreme intelligence and precise timing that these

elephants sensed about Lawrence 's passing, but also because of

the profound memory and emotion the beloved animals evoked

in such an organized way: Walking slowly, for days,

making their way in a solemn one-by-one queue from their habitat

to his house. Lawrence 's wife, Francoise, was especially touched,

knowing that the elephants had not been to his house prior to that day for well over 3 years!

But yet they knew where they were going. The elephants obviously

wanted to pay their deep respects, honoring their friend

who'd saved their lives - so much respect that

they stayed for 2 days 2 nights without eating anything.

Then one morning, they left, making their long journey

back home.
