Thank you ALL. I'm doing better, and with so many prayers I'll do GRRRRREAT (like Tony the Tiger). I'll come out roaring, OOPS that's a lion, but you get the idea.
Sorry to quote myself, but I just wanted it to show more space that the Wednesday Devotional August 13, has been posted.
I'm hitting the four poster early tonight, Aunti told me to get rest.
Night all.

Our prayers are with you. If you are having trouble sleeping, I can fax you some sleep sand. AuntiE said it helped her.

Just an update on our "grandparents" role. Sunday we had the opportunity to meet our new "adopted grandson" so to speak. The psychologist brought him (we will call him "Pete" though isn't his name, and his foster parents over to meet us and to have pizza with us. His mother and her boyfriend are behind bars for rape and sexual assault of a minor, and a number of other crimes, and I think he will be with the foster family until he goes to college. They are good people and the psychologist is a personal friend of ours that we have worked with a number of times before. The other counselor is a young married man who was one of our "kids" years ago, so he has the frame of reference to be a lot of help.He and his wife will be sort of like substitute parents. "Pete" didn't say much and was rather wary, which is to be expected, but took to the dogs and talked to them more than to us. Later we will take him next door (that's 70 acres away) to visit the goats . Maybe he will get interested in the tricks we are teaching the goats and that will help his confidence. We are still trying to teach Zeus to carry the flowers for the wedding that is now just three weeks away. Sounds like about two hundred people, most of whom do not even know the couple, and that includes us. thank you all for the prayers on "pete's" behalf.
We will put updates on the wedding on "A serious Question for Christians" which I will pull back up shortly.
If this makes no sense to some of you, and you are curious most of the background about Pete and what we do can be found on a recent thread by Glaucon about old liberals having more sex than old conservatives. I think that may now be on page two. It's much to time consuming to redo, and many will not find it all all interesting.
Time to work Zeus on carrying the flowers. Think I will threaten him with stapling them to his lips, or just borrow AuntiEs frying pan, Mastiffs have hard heads.
Again, thank you all for the prayers. With God's help "Pete" will eventually heal from his abuse.

So happy to have you join us, and thank you for your prayer.
I believe so strongly in prayer, and I believe He will care for my problem as He sees fit. I trust for a healing, always, always - a believing optimist at heart.
Thank You BearK. The prayer was my pleasure with another to come tonight. Hopefully all the prayers here and a good nights rest or two will have you feeling more like yourself! Rest well!
I just watched FOX News... 70% of the people who fled ISIS are now dead. The majority, Christians. ISIS buried many people alive on the mountain they escaped to. Many are being beheaded and crucified. My heart is breaking for these people!! And the children!! The ones still living have no food or water. Remember to pray for them all without ceasing. ISIS needs to be annihilated. They are pure evil. They are searching out all Christians, and they claim they are on their way to the US.
And what is Obama doing? Vacationing at Martha's Vineyard!!
The air strikes are doing very little.... They say it's most likely too late.
Revelation 6:9-12
When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood? Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were k**led just as they had been.

That is why I use a vicious Seeing Eye Dog, when those cane tires get a flat, I'm stuck at home. Not to mention when people ask me if my dog bites and, of course he does and they whine, "hey blind guy, I thought you said your dog didn't bite"? I just love telling them my dog doesn't..., this is my neighbor's dog and I'm just borrowing it to get around.
They never find any humor in that.
  :XD:
