Look, I ran links through a sandbox on a forum for a forum as moderator,if any didnt pass or didn't sanitize it didn't reach the Forum, add to that the video + audio uplink. I think I have a tad better idea of how things work. sorry CSM we differ here.
1. the same link given to slatten was in fact sandboxed.in short it is the same link the sent him.
2. let me run this link of yours by the Major Geek Forum I belong to for kicks,if anything as suggested could or would happen it takes place instantly not after program install.if it has not done damage the last decade + or so it's not going to. MGF is a good one, worldwide in fact.

I use it among others discussed on the MGF ... if there was a problem slats and company would be aware Now not later, it's not how things work in a digital environment.it IS safe.
You'll be the only at risk one.im about to give up.sharing apparently doesn't work here, why should caring be exempted? one cannot even attempt good it seems.it won't happen again sorry;need of wet rag is present. ☹️
oh and Pinform and avast are just fine,if they pass worldwide it works for me.

I don't know why you are taking offense, I am only passing along a warning, and for your information, I am not at much risk. Linux has very good security, I have added security software installed and I am aware of where the dangers are most prevalent on the internet.

When I first began using the internet, I ran Windows, I ran NO anti-v***s, NO anti-malware, NO anti-spyware and I typically only had an issue with any of those when I deliberately contracted one in order to find it, study it and be able to instruct others how to rid themselves of it.

Since that point, things have changed, dangers increased, difficulty in finding, disabling and eliminating these forms of malware has gotten more difficult, I started resorting to protections to protect myself, I still rely on these protections though I need them far less running Linux. In fact, I typically use my Linux machines to "venture" into the danger zones on the internet to retrieve that which resides at places that others running windows should not "venture".

While it is possible for one to find a chink in the armor of ANY OS, rarely do any try with Linux, partially due to Linux's security, partially due to the fact that Windows being used by the majority, they can inflict much more harm with much less effort. Why target such a secure OS with limited users when there is a much easier target with far more users.

I meant no offense in offering the warning, I only wanted to make people aware of what I had found, If you took offense, I apologize, but it is only your safety and the safety of others I was concerned over.

Edit: Here is proof straight from Avast of what I said, https://blog.avast.com/update-to-the-ccleaner-5.33.6162-security-incident. If you do not wish to believe me, fine, I would suggest believing them though.

Edit #2: This also https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/avast-clarifies-details-surrounding-ccleaner-malware-incident/, this is where I found the above link. It also gives further information regarding fixing the issue.

We don't pledge allegiance to our country...we pledge allegiance to our f**g.

We Pledge allegiance, to the f**g, of the Untied States of America. And to the republic, for witch it stands, one nation under God. Indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

And what does this part mean?

Why should one be required to pledge Allegiance to one's country?

Seriously....

Should one enjoy the benefits of one's country without the wilingness to uphold the laws and values of one's country?

Whether the pledge should be made daily can be debated... Once a year on national day is enough in my mind... But individuals like Jehovah Witnesses should not be allowed to v**e (most don't to my knowledge) or partake in any government entitlements...

Personally I believe one should not be forced to say the pledge in it's amended form, remove the phrase "under god" and then I may support it being obligatory. The first amendment gives us the freedom of religion and if your chosen religion is that you have none at all, you should be free to practice your "religion" and not be forced to practice any other religion.

That may be the case where you live, it isn't the case everywhere. Of course I wouldn't know about my area as I am not in need of a new job at this time, perhaps if business slows...

Opinions are a lot like, guess I will have to use the word, rectums. Everyone has one. You seem to have decided that your opinion is much truer than any others, especially when the others originate from people who lean to the right politically.

Fortunately, using factual information negates the feelings and/or beliefs of those who cannot provide verifiable documentation of their opinions. T***h is not difficult to find if that is what the searcher really seeks. All that is needed is a computer and an open mind.

Ah, one that ONLY posts opinions feels they have the moral authority to attack one that DOES post facts supporting their "opinion". Interesting the way your mind works.

Get a grip there CSM.

That would be any "college".

Reality can be disturbing to those who live in la la land... Such as yourself.

College majors with the highest unemployment

Can't find memes based on reality and so deranged that he must lash out at "lefties" so he puts f**e memes up to get his satisfaction but tells others to get a grip. Perhaps if you can't find anything to lash out at the "lefties" on, you could take up a new hobby, try reading, maybe you may find something with which you can legitimately lash out at the "lefties" with.

Wow, I've never heard of that college, where can I find COLLEGE, what state is COLLEGE located in? Since the photo is staged, the narrative likely is too.

The figures you quote are not the full picture. When people lose good paying jobs and can only find part time work so take two part time jobs; the unemployment figures go down. When government "creates" new jobs from taxpayers money, or subsidizes existing businesses to hire more workers than they could otherwise afford to pay; the unemployment figures go down. These are low paying jobs. And the latter two require oversight and administration of the programs so only a fraction of every dollar collected in taxes actually makes it to the paychecks of the employees. This is unsustainable over the long term.

Actually, people taking multiple jobs has no impact on unemployment rates, those figures are actually taken from those currently on unemployment and those actively searching for a job through the workforce development department. Other factors not taken into consideration in the unemployment rate is those that have run out of benefits, those that have opted for early retirement due to not being able to find a job in a reasonable time frame and/or have given up the search for a new job.

Very interesting observations.
With that said I've never heard of a machine that got more than was asked for from pinform.the program author. ( where i get all programs from, when possible). I knew it was avast related.
Nor has any technician met
or worked with had anything bad to say about it. Being anti junk and security minded it can do little else except improve a machines mechanics so cc remains on machines along with a list of other productive programs. I get alerts from IT experts that keep me updated on a number of issues.
Bottom line: it stays put.
The adage if it ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind.
It does work. Thanks for the insight I'll be questioning a few contacts. But until then it stays.
I have not heard anything about it yielding what the info relayed suggests.

Piriform was sold to Avast, it was since that sale that the concerns have been rising. If you still have the Piriform version, keep it. If you don't have the Piriform version, install at own risk.

Drives me crazy when he spams other folks threads though...

Or when I prove beyond a doubt that h is wrong and the final response is "WTF IDK"..

Plus he is pretty indiscriminate with his slurs... We are all Muslims or cryptojews or t*****ruos scum of some sort...

Every now and then he posts something that would make a great thread... But I believe most members simply avoid him out of habit...

What is with Sici and FSZ and all them posts? I don't bother with the threads of either of those two.

Yes, now that you mention it, I guess some have backed off some.

If you will look at some of my earlier posts, I was trying to push for some civility here, but I got trounced, I suppose that may have helped to lead me down the path to the dark side. I can be somewhat easily led to that dark side.
