Hey Rose,

Have you ever been amazed at seeing a cat land on all fours when it seemed almost impossible to do so?

I'm sure that cats don't have a clue about the human definition of the word "gravity".

Now, since "gravity," like the word "science," is a "human construct," would that mean the cat was free from the law of gravity and that its reflex action was purely an instinct? Or would/could we say that the cat, instinctively operates within the law of gravity? The latter, right?

So with science, as with gravity, just because we humans can put a label on it, doesn't mean that humans either created it or have a monopoly on its use and practice. "Science" by definition seeks to be objective; I would go so far as saying it is the pursuit of eliminating subjectivity as much as possible.

Often times humans, in their pride, assume that what they "discover," through the process of scientific examination, is all the same as them creating what they discovered. This is false. The fact is, humans don't literally create anything, through their amazing imagination, they manipulate or reconstruct from material, and even ideas, that already exist.

Ever hear the one about the scientist and God?:

~~~~~~
God was sitting in heaven one day when a scientist said to Him, “God, we don’t need you anymore. Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of nothing – in other words, we can now do what you did in the beginning.”
“Oh, is that so? Explain…” replies God. “Well,” says the scientist, “we can take dirt and form it into the likeness of you and breathe life into it, thus creating man.”
“Well, that’s very interesting… show Me.”
So the scientist bends down to the earth and starts to mold the soil into the shape of a man. “No, no, no…” interrupts God, “Get your own dirt.”
~~~

Mankind discovers, mankind does not create. Humanism attempts to give humanity credit for that which they do not deserve. This pride of humanity, which humanists extol, in reality, is the root cause of all humanity's ills. Pride in humanity, in one form or another, is certainly the reason why most humans refuse to acknowledge God.

This is probably the fundamental difference between people of faith in God and humanists whose faith is in mankind. Both are "religious", the difference being that humanists usually don't admit that the god they recognize is humanity itself. Humanists also don't usually admit that their cultures and practices are an expression of their "deification" of humanity (in other words, their form of religious practice). This is self-deception, meaning humanism at its core is a big fat lie!

This also explains why it is important for some of us to point out why it is an error to claim that just because humanity named or discovered something, doesn't mean humanity created it or has a monopoly on it.

Have a blessed day!
Hey Rose, br br Have you ever been amazed at seei... (show quote)

Morning Tommy...

You must be feeling well...

Great post.. You really have a way with words...

FYI... I'm stealing that joke and this statement ""Science" by definition seeks to be objective; I would go so far as saying it is the pursuit of eliminating subjectivity as much as possible."

The statement might make a really great lesson for one of my advanced classes...

To be honest, the entire post would make for a great lesson...

And I hope more individuals read it...

You have a blessed day...

Your friend, Kyle

pure religious gibberish

...says the guy who believes government creates money out of thin air, ignorant and oblivious to the fact of reality, that when "paper money" is printed without something valuable (like gold) backing it,that it only dilutes the buying power of the "paper money" already in circulation, thus creating inflation.

This may sound of topic, but my point is that this is the same type of false, humanistic reasoning that also concludes there is no Creator God!

I am amazed and learn new things every day. If we prideful beings didn’t exist there would be no ‘law of gravity’ or anything else. It would simply be. We may be saying the same thing and just overthinking it. Lol

You have a blessed day as well!

I'll buy that! That's why we need to discuss, and not just assume we know, each other's points of views, right?

Thanks for the blessing as well

My Godmother has a daughter down your way... Is it true that the police are regularly assaulting Blacks? It is her favorite rant.. That her Grandkids (her daughter married a Black fellow) can't leave the house for fear of the police... Just wondering....

We have seen plenty of liberal visions and liberal progress and liberal love, Nik, question is, do you have anything in your playbook that benefits the human race?

Of course but all progress is at a standstill with grid lock We make a bit of progress then a wacko gets in power and reverses all the gains. Which mean we have to gain power and reverse all his screw ups and the nation lurches like a drunk from one side to the other. Progress is difficult at best a step and a half forward and a step back. The sense of what changes are needed is over powering and seemingly impossible to ever achieve. It would take a common effort with all citizens pulling in the same direction which I cannot envision ever coming to be

Jesus Saves

It's not that complicated when you have a complete understanding of the Spiritual world that is around the carnal world. Many people have been called to be ministers of God, and God has taken them into the Spiritual realm, and given them the understanding that is beyond the natural world. God created this universe for his pleasure. When we as his agents of righteousness proclaim his goodness, others make a choice as to what they will do with God and his Son who is the Savior of all who accept him by faith. What they decide to do with Jesus, determines what God will do with them for eternity.

What you call progressive, Nik, is actually regressive. Liberal progressivism is progress on the Road to Serfdom, it is counter-productive, counter-intuitive, and seriously unnatural, it denies the intrinsic worth of individual human beings, gives power to a select few elitists, and puts all value on controlling the citizenry as a mass, or collective. Liberal Progressives have never ceased in their campaign to deny us our constitutional rights and undermine our freedoms as American citizens.

You have been assimilated, Nik, your loyalty is to a backward ideology and its political party, not to our nation as it was founded.
