That explains a lot. You had me thinking I had been working on the wrong crew.
I don't know if there are any, but have you considered perhaps there is some sort of "Nautical Jeopardy?" Or plain old "Scrabble?" Backgammon, although people have been known to lose their tempers on that one. Kind of ironic, you may have to go online to find a game you don't need to go online to play.

Wow! That boat is gorgeous, what a beautiful picture.

I worked on a delivery crew, among other boat jobs I have held. A schooner was my favorite. Not the one in the picture. Sailboat deliveries are the coolest job in the world, but the work is a little spotty. You make a lot of money when you work, but you don't always work as much as you need to.
I also worked on a longline boat, and as a civilian contractor for the Navy on one of their supply ships out of the Bahamas.

you don't get sea sick at anchor but then again that reminds me of a time while stationer in the USS Midway we had a new sailor check in while at the pier in Yokosuka, Japan and just the walk across the hangar bay he got seasick

The last injection I had didn't do anything. I just move it around as much as possible. It only hurts when I try to raise it out to the side, so it's not too much of a burden. I landed on my shoulder while going about 30 miles an hour. It hasn't been the same since.

didn't anyone ever tell you not to do that?

As some of you know, I was in the Navy. I only got seasick once. I was below decks, cleaning up oil in turret number two. We we're experiencing 30 foot seas, at the time. I would have been fine if I could have seen the horizon, but cramped inside an enclosed space, it was pretty gut wrenching. Thank God I was on a battleship. I don't want to know what the poor slobs in the tin cans were going through.

:D  :D

Everyone will have consumed their food by the time he finds out.

I EXPECT a picture of the three of you!!! I have individual pictures. I WANT a group picture.

Approximately two hours before he arrives, if he is on schedule.

When I worked on deliveries, we never had time for games, other than cards. Always something that needed doing. However, if you have that much spare time, raid the liquor cabinet. Preferably something nautical, like rum.

when I was making deliveries up and down the west coast we only had two people so it was six on and six off except for the delivery to Hawaii we had four people but only two of us stood watches the other two did the cooking and just went along for the ride

Do you by any chance have three more that you could fax this way. David is here and he loves tuna and he is a growing boy!! Haven't run into many 14 year olds that can eat that much. Guess he is making up for years of short rations.
THANKS!!!

He will have to eat quickly. Slatten is due in San Diego very shortly. OG may tell him of our food festivals. Rid yourself of the evidence as quickly as possible. Maybe Tank and Zeus could lick the plates.

H**e to tell you, but they usually do lick plates. we put them on the floor and tell them to share, each one gets his own and no fighting allowed. what they will do when the new puppy arrives, I don't know.

We shall obtain a lovely child's plate for the puppy. Hmm...maybe we should plan a puppy arrival event. We can have people provide the necessities for the new arrival. To soothe Tank and Zeus, large chew bones will be given to them. I shall start planning the menu.
