That sounds noble. Wh**ever is done to prompt it, whether it is legal or not, what will our soldiers do when ordered to fire on their fellow citizens? Will they pull the trigger or refuse?

Obama administration is shutting down all national parks and monuments. This includes the monuments in Washington DC which do need park service rangers to remain open because they are policed by the C*****l p****e which remain on duty. Despite this fact the Obama administration has tried to shut down these memorials and have gone so far as to claim the whole national mall is closed.

Today US WW II veterans with the help of Congressman Steve King busted down the park service barriers and occupied their monument en mass. Those old veterans realized that per tactical doctrine they had well over 3 to 1 ratio needed to make the necessary assault successful.

There is absolutely no limit to the lengths this administration will go to try and make a political point.

Before we go any further, let us note once again how contrived it is to shut down entryways to a wide open space out in the middle of a park.

This is not a building, like a museum, that has doors and staffers and guides. This is open scenery.

And yet they erected artificial barriers to block people from walking through outdoor scenery.

Voila! Now we can pretend a memorial standing unsupervised out in the open is a "National Park" or "Open Air Museum" and close it to pedestrian traffic (and people can in fact just walk through this thing in their normal t***sversing of the city).

Now, that out of the way: They then took the next step.

When they were informed that the Honor Flight was on the way, and that they should make one exception for the veterans of WWII and open up the artificial barriers they had erected to make a political point, they refused.

Palazzo, a Gulf War Marine veteran who has participated in all five of the Honor Flights, blames the White House for making it harder on veterans and playing politics. “At first I thought it was a huge bureaucratic oversight,” Palazzo told The Daily Caller, “but having talked with the officials I can’t help but think this was politically motivated. Honor Flights, which bring WWII veterans to the nation’s memorials, are planned a year in advance and cost anywhere between $80,000 to $100,000. How low can you get with playing politics over our nation’s veterans?”

In a statement, Palazzo noted that he is introducing legislation to ensure that all Honor Flights are granted access this week. “This is an open-air memorial that the public has 24/7 access to under normal circumstances — even when Park Service personnel aren’t present,” Palazzo said in the statement. “It actually requires more effort and expense to shut out these veterans from their Memorial than it would to simply let them through. My office has been in touch with NPS officials and the Administration to try to resolve this issue.”


There are no "schedule hours" for scenery. The monument does not close on weekends, or at night.

The Democrats keep reminding us Obamacare is the law of the land. They are right; However, this law has been changed by the president 17 times and he has delayed different parts of the law 19 times. The president has acceded his authority. The law which was ruled a tax falls under the purview of the congress according to the Constitution. Just so you know where I'm coming from I don't like the War Powers Act or Patriot Act either.
If the congress and this president had actually passed a fair Law their would not be all these waivers for special interests. I think everyone should get a waiver or none then let the Law stand or fall on its own merits.

The Democrats are going to blame the government shutdown that they forced on America on people like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Mike Lee. But the t***h is that Obama and Reid have told Republicans that they want Obamacare to be fully funded or they will block any and all efforts to keep the government open.

So this is how it's going to be ha. The democratic senators have taken a play right out of the same book Obama has been using. They blame every one else, and every thing else on anyone but them selves.

The Democrats had control of both the House and Senate,
as well as the presidency when this so called ACA was rammed down the throats of every citizen in this country. Even though the majority of the American people did not want it. ( And the democratic house and senate as well as the president new full well the this was the case ).

It is still the Democrats of today, as well as our democratic president that wants to now, even more forcefully, implement this most egregious law. Even though a full 69% of the American people don't want it.
The democrats that hold the majority of the senate, fully demonstrated just how bad this law is last night at the last hours before the shut down of our government, by rejecting a proposal by the republicans, to strip out a portion of this bill that say's in part, They the full congress, well be exempt from participating in the law itself. All others will be forced to accept this, under penalty of a fine or jail time until they do.

And now the democrats are telling any and all, (( Not me )) Its not me that is forcing this government shut down. Its all those bad republicans that wont compromise about anything that is doing this. I believe there is no better example of the duplicity of thought than to revisit the words of the president, when he said on the 30th of Sept, 2013 ( I will not compromise ) Came out special, right after having talked to the prime mister of Israel.
This is not the words of the republicans. This is the words of a socialistically held senate and president, that would go directly against the will of the American people.

The supreme arrogance of this president to say such a thing goes far beyond the pale of any other president in modern times. This president has now presided over
our country's only reduction in our credit rating, a national debt, that will soon be at 17 trillion dollars, the worst foreign policy this country has had, far back as to the cold war days, and now the shut down of our government. And as I write this, even now, he is still insisting that, it is not I, that is at fault. No, no not me. Its all those bad republicans doing this.

This is wrong. Just plain wrong.

Obamacare, the most significant piece of social legislation in a generation, was passed in a purely, 100%, partisan basis.

Obama has picked and choosed what parts of that legislation that he, unilaterally, likes and doesn't like and is implemening on that basis

In two national e******ns since Obamacare passed, the American people - largely as a result of Obamacare - placed the "people's" House in the hands of the opposition.

Now, Obama and Harry Reid refuse to even discuss any modifications to this uni-partisan an unilateral piece of confusion - and yet many people blame the Republicans for the impasse.

Basic awareness and logic seem to be rare elements in this current affair.

1) I will compromise as far as I have to in order to represent the American people as long as we get our way 100%

2) I will do everything within my power to mislead, corrupt, hide, disrupt, and nullify anything that is not our way of thinking.

3) I will always see the t***h and facts as relative or subjective unless they back up our point of view. Otherwise I will ignore them entirely.

4) I will wholeheartedly blame anyone I can for anything that goes wrong while accepting full responsibility for everything that goes right.

5) I will do everything within my power, lie, c***t, steal, and deceive to further the liberal indoctrination upon the American people whether they want it or not.
