I have a serious question for people who have power in America, and who continue to deny the outcome of the 2020 e******n and enable Trump’s big lie: what are you saying to yourself in private? How are you justifying yourself in your own mind?

I don’t mean to be snide or snarky. I’m genuinely curious.

If you hold public office and deny the outcome of the 2020 e******n, are you telling yourself that despite the overwhelming evidence that Biden won and the lack of evidence of fraud, you still genuinely doubt the outcome?

But you must know that 60 federal courts have found no basis in Trump’s claim, nor have any so-called state “audits” and even Trump’s own attorney general found the claim baseless.

Or are you telling yourself that it will soon be over – that Trump will fade, that the big lie will disappear, that your party and America will soon move on?

But you must know you’re wrong. The big lie is growing. It has metastasized into a cancer that’s dividing the nation and devouring our democracy.

Or are you telling yourself that you have no real choice but to support the lie if you want to keep or obtain political power?

Even if true, is power so intoxicating to you – so important as an end in itself – that you’ll do anything for it?

Where will you draw the line? If Trump is reelected and imposes martial law? If he or another Republican president forbids public criticism of his administration? If he calls for violence against those who oppose him?

And what do you tell yourself about the measures your party is taking based on the big lie: suppression of v**es, takeovers of e******n machinery, assertions that state legislatures can overturn v**er preferences in the certification process, rejection of the J****** 6 c*******e’s findings?

You have sworn an oath to uphold the constitution. How do you defend yourself in your own mind?

I’m asking you, Kevin McCarthy. And you, Lindsey Graham, and Marco Rubio, and Rick Scott and Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz and Ron Johnson. And others.

And I’m asking those of you with significant power in the Republican party who have remained silent in the face of all this – such as you, Mitch McConnell, and you, Mitt Romney: how do you justify your silence?

And I ask those of you now running for office who are denying the 2020 e******n results and pushing other aspects of Republican authoritarianism – such as you, JD Vance, and Blake Masters, Mehmet Oz, Herschel Walker, Doug Mastriano, and Kari Lake: what are you telling yourself in private? How are you excusing yourself? Why are you even running?

And I ask the billionaires and CEOs who are bankrolling these people: how do you rationalize spending millions, even tens of millions, helping them get or remain elected?

I’m asking you, Peter Thiel, and you, Stephen Schwarzman, and Ken Griffin and Steve Wynn and Mike Lindell and Patrick Byrne and others: is this really the way you want to spend your fortune? Is this your legacy to the nation?

And I ask all the people making money off this rot – the TV hosts and producers and media moguls who are raking it in while poisoning the minds of America with bald-faced lies – what are you telling yourself in private?

I’m asking you, Rupert Murdoch, and you, Tucker Carlson, and you, Sean Hannity, and you, Laura Ingraham: how are you defending yourself to yourself?

I don’t expect you to answer me. This is a question for you to answer to yourself, alone and in private.

But before you do, may I have a confidential word?

Whether you’re a politician supporting the big lie, a billionaire backer of it, or a broadcaster who’s pushing it, it is not too late for you to get off the road you are on.

Yet if you continue to promote or enable this lie, you are undermining our democracy. The crisis you have helped create is worsening. You bear part of the responsibility for what comes next.

When the history of this trying time is written, future generations of Americans will judge your actions and your silences harshly.

They will recall your cowardice and your self-justifications. They will remember your lust for power and your moral blindness. They will recollect your unwitting ignorance or your witting failure to come to democracy’s defense in this perilous time.

Generations to come will sit in judgment about what you have wrought. And if the democratic experiment called America continues to unravel because of what you did or failed to do, you will live in infamy.

In the immediate aftermath of the terror attack of 9/11/2001 -- a "dream team" of engineers was summoned to the scene of the astonishing collapse of the Twin Towers in Manhattan. Little did the distinguished professionals know at the time that they were invited only for the purpose of window dressing -- to provide the illusion of a forensic investigation into the cause of the collapsed, pulverized and aerosolized man-made mountains of steel and concrete.

One investigator complained to the New York Times:

"'This is almost the dream team of engineers in the country working on this, and our hands are tied,' said one team member who asked not to be identified. 'Members have been threatened with dismissal for speaking to the press. FEMA is controlling everything,' the team member said. 'Just give us the money and let us do it, and get the politics out of it.'''

In calling for a new investigation, some structural engineers have said that one serious mistake has already been made in the chaotic aftermath of the collapses: the decision to rapidly recycle the steel columns, beams and trusses that held up the buildings.

The fix was in, and the "explanation" for the collapse had already been cooked-up by the Deep State illusion makers. The boys from Langley even designed a "computer model" for us -- a children's cartoon video, in essence -- demonstrating how "jet fuel fires" from the penetrating passenger jets caused the steel of the uppermost floors to "buckle" and trigger a "pancake" collapse all the way down to the street, a quarter mile below. A handful of science whores then "peer reviewed" the fairy tale for Normiedom and the rest is F**e History.

1. The hollow aluminum planes penetrated steel exoskeletons as if they were flying through sheet-rock -- or even cardboard! // 2. The oxygen-starved fires melted steel? // 3. Voila! Instant powder and dust.

Not every "expert" was buying into the Deep State's free-fall speed "pancake collapse" theory.

The amusing thing about "experts" -- and this observation also includes the honest ones -- is that they always go right away for the technical data while completely neglecting to utilize their intuitive intelligence. Personally, I've always believed that this mental deficiency is the product of an educational system which -- even at its highest levels -- is designed to produce specialized i***ts who can calculate the heck out of something, yet not see what is right under their noses. Lots of math and science training --- not enough study of literature, philosophy, logic, art etc. and -- and clearly not enough life "street smarts" or country "horse sense."

With all due deference to and respect for the brilliant engineers and architects who have calculated the physical impossibility of "the official story," let us keep our analysis here at a simple level understandable to even the most scientifically-challenged among us -- and therefore far more effective at opening eyes to the hidden t***h of this monstrous 21-year old LIE.

Though we appreciate and applaud the intrepid efforts and "prestigious" proclamations of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 T***h, their calculations are redundant. Any thinking man (or child!) should be able to see this without using math or science.

THREE SIMPLE QUESTIONS THAT ANYONE CAN UNDERSTAND AND DEMAND ANSWERS TO

*1. How can a hollow aluminum tube and its thin wings so easily penetrate a solid steel exoskeleton made up of beams as thick as oak trees?

Donald Trump himself -- who knows a thing or two about building skyscrapers -- stated on 9-12-2001:

"This was an unbelievably powerful building(s). When I first looked at it, I couldn't believe it because there was a hole in the steel!. ... How could a plane, even a 767, possibly go through the steel? .... I happen to think that they had not only a plane, but had bombs that exploded almost simultaneously.... I just can't imagine anything going through that wall."

Of course they "had bombs" -- and now appear to have used TV computer graphics to simulate a plane flying through the steel as if it was a paper bag -- when it should have crumpled up like an empty beer can. Think about it rationally.

1. Trump sensed right away that we were being lied too. // 2. The entire hollow aluminum plane, including the flimsy thin wings, penetrated the steel outside walls as if it were flying through paper. If a solid lead bullet cannot penetrate a bullet-proof vest - then how did a much slower hollow aluminum tube penetrate a wall of thick steel?

1. A solid cannonball (about 500 mph) couldn't even fully penetrate a small point on a simple brick wall, but hollow aluminum tubes at 300 mph so easily passed through walls of thick commercial grade steel? // 2. A plane strikes a flock of birds and sustains so much damage -- yet the steel walls of the twin towers were so easily and completely penetrated? // 3. The flimsy wings of an airplane are nearly severed by a hollow pole, yet cleanly penetrated a steel wall on 9/11?

* 2. How can the top 10% and 20% of the respective towers completely grind down -- at free fall speed -- the remaining 90% and 80% of the buildings?

The top floors of the towers may have been very heavy --- but the more numerous lower floors were much heavier. The top 10/20% crushing the bottom 80/90% would be analogous to dropping a single cinder block on top of a cemented and anchored stack of nine other blocks -- and expecting a mass of instant powder and dust. Try that experiment in your backyard and let us know if you can duplicate the "pancake" collapse of 9/11. Come to think of it, why didn't FEMA "investigators" recreate a small scale tower --- like say, 50-feet tall -- and fly an equally proportional fuel-laden drone into it --- just to see what would happen? Hmmm?

Adding insanity to idiocy, imagine if were to drop a large stone off of the top of the World Trade Center -- at the precise moment which the "pancake collapse" initiated. Then try to imagine the stone (encountering only air resistance) and the top of the collapsing building (encountering the resistance of the entire steel reinforced building) reaching the street at about the same time. Nuts!

1. A few top cans of tuna won't grind down the stack below -- even if you were to stand on top of them and jump up and down! // 2. Nor will a stack of blocks if you drop blocks on top of them. // 3. Ready .. Set .. Go! --- A race between the collapsing upper floors of the Twin Towers and a jumper would be a close one. How can that be?

* 3. How did a 3rd skyscraper -- the 610 feet-tall World Trade Center #7 -- which was not even struck by an airplane -- also collapse into its own footprint at free-fall speed?

Unlike the previously mentioned physical impossibilities, we may excuse normies for not thinking this one through. You see, the vast majority of people in America (and the world) STILL DON'T EVEN KNOW that a 3rd massive skyscraper -- located 300 feet away from the towers and not even struck by any alleged planes -- collapsed into its own footprint a free fall speed that day. With the exception of a single CBS News clip which Anchorman Dan Rather must have slipped up in allowing to be aired, the event was never seen again -- except on the Internet.

This one is the kicker, and only a mad man (of which plenty walk among us) or a supine coward of the lowest rank (plenty of them too) would even attempt to explain this away with "science." The Deep State (CIA-Mossad) did 9/11, and their affiliated F**e News, politicians and academics covered it up. "The science is settled!" -- as they say. Deal with it!

The collapse of WTC Building 7 was a clean controlled demolition. It is the weakest of all the weak links of the 9/11 fairy tale.

Sitting after breakfast rather Idly musing about the day, the phrase “John Armstrong, The All American Boy” came up unbidden. I knew instantly that wasn’t right, but my aged mind couldn’t bring the right name up. I worried it a bit and thought of several other comic strips I had lost in time.

Thinking I would get the correct name sorted out, I opened my laptop and put in my version. Out came Jack Armstrong right off, but a lot more than I had bargained for! Strip after strip of the real comic hero, and a history of its publication. What a pleasure it was to see my childhood hero once again, and in color!

Then I thought to try Steve Canyon and was rewarded with tons of that strip and its history. I had no idea just how popular and important the comic strips were that they were available online, years of it! Every one of my favorites had the same treatment, and I spent a whole hour bringing up one after another and remembering…

Li’l Abner, Hagar, Mark Trail, Garfield, Dennis the Menace, Blondie, Prince Valiant, they were all there! There was a handy list of many of the King Syndicate properties listed with links to the write-ups. I had to stop eventually at 15 of the strips.

I suppose everyone else knew about these strips online, but I simply didn’t, and was very happy to spend a few moments in recalling my past infatuation with these characters! I do know that some of them are still published, often drawn by different authors from the original, but since I halted the newspaper, I haven’t kept track at all.

It was a nice Sunday gift!

DOJ's Mar-a-Lago investigation appears to be moving toward criminal charges for Trump, former top counterintelligence official says

A former senior counterintelligence chief at the DOJ commented on the Mar-a-Lago raid to Politico.

"It seems to me it's moving in the direction of warranting criminal charges," David Lauftmann said.

The DOJ believes Trump wrongly took highly classified info after he left office.

The Justice Department appears to be moving toward criminally charging Trump in its Mar-a-Lago investigation, a former counterintelligence chief at the department told Politico.

"It seems to me it's moving in the direction of warranting criminal charges," David Laufman, former chief of the counterespionage section at the Justice Department's national security division, told the publication.

"I think [Trump] has significant criminal exposure. Whether they ultimately decide to exercise prosecutorial discretion in favor of prosecuting him is another question."

His analysis is significant given the division he used to head is playing a key role in the DOJ's investigation in whether Trump mishandled highly classified information after leaving office.

Representatives for Trump did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

New information has been made public about the strength of the case the DOJ believes it has against Trump in recent days.

In legal filings responding to Trump's request to have a special master appointed to examine the documents retrieved by the FBI, the DOJ alleged that Trump aides sought to obstruct its investigation and conceal documents, and that documents were kept in a haphazard way alongside Trump's personal belongings.

In a photo submitted as part of a filing Tuesday, highly classified documents were pictured alongside a box containing an old TIME magazine cover featuring Trump.

Trump has offered a shifting array of defenses in response to the search, claiming that he had broadly declassified the documents before leaving the office.

His lawyers have argued that many were protected under executive-privilege rules designed to ensure the privacy of p**********l communications.

But legal experts have argued that the executive-privilege argument is highly unlikely to succeed in this case, and that Trump's declassification claims are unconvincing and may not protect him from criminal charges even if true.

The decision to pursue any sort of prosecution will ultimately rest with Attorney General Merrick Garland, who will have to weigh a number of factors in the decision whether to take the historically unprecedented step of filing charges against a former president.
