We will need a real conservative candidate then and someone who really knows his or her stuff. We cannot allow Karl Rove to get his way or we will be doomed to lose once again. I hope we have some real conservative come forward and unite us like that Dr. that spoke at the prayer breakfast. Anybody that can articulate the conservative philosophy in such a way as to show how practical it is and how our problems can be remedied through conservatism. Such a person could take this country from the brink of despair and help us get back on track, God knows OIllegal has all but destroyed this country already.

When did New Yorkers at large become the equivalent of the doormat wife? Is this how they see themselves — the collective masochist in Anthony Weiner’s endless psycho-sexual melodramas?

It’s one thing to believe sexual infidelity has no bearing on the ability to govern — the city had a rather grown-up reaction to then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s c***ting, which paid off in a great mayor — but it’s another to believe that this is all that’s wrong with Weiner and his compatriot in shamelessness -- His wife

They are hypocrites of the highest order, a self-styled paragon of moral rectitude, a spectacularly unaccomplished politician who did nothing in Congress other than alienate his staffers and colleagues.

He’s spent months selling this redemption narrative — full of tears and therapy and a martyred wife — while continuing to solicit at least one other young woman online, promising to hook her up with a job at Politico and a condo in Chicago in trade for a “hard delete” of their exchanges.

What happened? Is it our post-Oprah culture, where admitting you did something wrong — even only after getting caught — equals automatic forgiveness? Or have we lost our edge in going from lawlessness and race r**ts to debates over cigarette smoking and the size of cokes? When did New Yorkers develop such low self-esteem that Anthony Weiner seems like the mayor they deserve? `

I don't think any of them will protest this beating since it was a white businessman who was beaten by 5 or 6 black teens. A number of witnesses saw it happen and police are looking for the perps. The scooter he was riding has been recovered and two police men chased two of those kids till they left the scooter. I bet they will recognize them when they see them.

Be sure to read the newspaper account offered in the link to learn what color the perps were. The people interviewed in the video here were all black and all want the perps caught and punished.

Today AG Holder spoke out telling people that he and the Glorious Leader intend to do an end run on the Supreme Court and the Constitution and he is given some special powers over states by this proposal.
