A MOST CAPABLE MAJORITY
And the winners are:

In 1917 Jeanette Rankin was elected to Congress from Montana, The first woman elected to Congress from any state. She was a Republican, pacifist and suffragette. Since then, only 229 have served. As of the E******ns of 2008, 75 women were serving in the US House of Representatives; a mere 17.2 % of the total. Currently there are 17 women in the United States Senate. Again 17 %; that is under-representation.
The first woman to serve in the Senate was Rebecca Felton who served for one day! The first woman elected to the Senate was Hattie Caraway elected in 1932. No women served during the periods 1922-1931, 1945-1947, 1973-1978; however, since 1978 there has been at least one lady in the Senate. The first time there were three women in the Senate was 1992. Under-representation.

Today, there are some 300 Million people in the United States; over half of whom are female actually 51.1 %. I have written pieces decrying the lack of military veterans in our bloated government. Now, I ask, should we not now endeavor to get more of another great resource into active government? Women, Women Veterans and veterans in general would be a great asset.
Only two women, Geraldine Ferraro and Sarah Plain have been on the b****t in a p**********l e******n. That in and of itself speaks badly of our system. Women have served brilliantly, courageously and with conspicuously good judgment in many capacities, in many countries including our own. They have been given short shrift when it comes to the top jobs.
One of Americas Top Test pilots is Christine Walsh. She is one of five female test pilots at Boeing. Captain Jamie Jamieson is the first operational and combat-ready pilot of the F-22 Raptor. Women have proved their courage and will to serve America since Molly Pitcher at Monmouth during the Revolutionary war. There can be no doubt of their willingness or their ability. A female, Rear Admiral Grace Murray Hooper was instrumental in the development of COBOL Computer Language.
Women have other credentials besides the obvious; maternal instinct provides them with a gentler side that melds well with officials from other parts of the world. By and large women are more trustworthy than males and they are not as predisposed to extramarital escapades. In other words, they have more pluses than minuses. A for instance would be, Margaret Thatcher.
When I look at all the so-called prospective p**********l candidates for 2012; I quickly brush aside the pretenders, and my focus zooms in on two very bright, savvy, honest and very good looking ladies I would love to see in the Oval Office. In my opinion either could head the ticket and get America headed in the right direction. Take your pick; you couldnt go wrong: Sarah Plain and Michelle Bachmann, in tandem would be a winner.
Of one thing you can be sure; they are right up front, in-your-face ladies. They both tell it like it is, so take it or leave it. The incumbent would not stand a chance. Guaranteed.

THE GENESIS OF CHANGE

In Newsmax.com on January 14, 2011 appeared an article entitled, Report: Allow Women in US Combat Units. The article notes that a Military Commission is recommending that the Pentagon do away with a policy that bans women from serving in combat units. The article goes on to point out the policy prohibits women from being assigned, to any unit smaller than a brigade whose primary mission is direct combat on the ground.
At one point in my career, I was assigned in the mid 1970s in the grade of major as the training officer with a dental detachment under the operational control of the New Jersey National Guards 50th Armored Division. The unit had no women assigned. When I questioned the Commanding Officer as to the reason or thinking behind this state of affairs, I was told, We are a combat unit. Since he and I were both Dental Officers, I was quite comfortable pursuing the matter.
I pointed out that as a dental unit we were not a combat unit, but rather a Combat Service Support unit under the temporary operational control of the division. Further, that in the event of activation we would be immediately detached and reassigned. He agreed but stated that it was the decision of the New Jersey state Adjutant General. I remarked that it was ludicrous to have a dental unit without utilizing the sk**ls of readily available female Dentists, Dental Assistants, Hygienists, clerks, drivers, and clerical personnel. His final remark on the subject, was, State will never approve.
I asked if he would at least forward without comment, a request I would prepare to the National Guard Bureau in Washington, DC. He said he would but interjected, I dont think it will get out of Trenton. He erred in his thinking. The letter was forwarded from Division Headquarters without comment. And eight months later, I had the distinct pleasure to swear into our unit the first female in the NJARNG, Private Annette Hardy. She was the first of many.
In late 1976, our Commanding Officer suffered a fatal heart attack, and I was assigned the position. The very first act I took upon Assumption of Command was to make an assessment of assigned personnel. The unit had been forced to accept personnel from several deactivated NIKE sites and was away over strength and away under qualified. In consultation with my First Sergeant and others, we weeded out the undesirables until my First Sergeant became concerned that we would be too far under strength and he would lose his full-time slot. Not to worry, First; we are covered.
At about the same time, the US Army established a new policy which was to prove valuable in the recruiting of women into the military. The new policy permitted Dental Students to become Second Lieutenants in the Army Medical Service Corps. At that time I was a member of the Faculty of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
With that favorable connection combined with aggressive recruiting, in less that a year the unit was at the permissible over strength level of 110 percent. The Dental Students were not only extremely capable but very willing to help train the new Dental Hygienists and Assistants.
For the unit to be selected for the Ready Reserve Force, it was necessary to pass the Armys readiness tests. Every member of the unit, with the exception of the Dental Students had undergone basic training and some had acquired advanced training. No unit is without glitches; ours was no exception.
During one two-week summer training at Fort Drum, NY, Our unit was responsible for the perimeter defense on three sides of a rectangle occupied by us and a Medical Battalion. The Medical Battalion allowed enemy (aggressor) forces to penetrate and a fire was ignited in a personnel tent. One female dental assistant assigned to guard duty became nearly hysterical because she heard scary noises (50th Div Tanks in the distance).
Our female personnel were in reality a stabilizing force within the unit. All were extremely bright, most well-educated and eager to prove they could carry our any task they were assigned. The unit was about half and half Male /Female. Because our training evaluations were so high, we were able to obtain the most up-to-date dental equipment. Our reputation preceded us one of the early summers. When I went to the McGuire Air Force Base Loading Operations, they were most obliging in training our unit how to properly load onto a C-141-B StarLifter. Every member of our unit was able to back a truck with trailer up the loading ramp, position correctly and tie down securely all unit vehicles.
One of the Ladies, Dr. Marliese Idelberger, after graduation from Dental School was awarded the most desirable US Air Force Dental Residency at Langley AFB. She stayed in the Air Force Reserve and attained the Grade of Colonel. Dr, Nancy Ann Kuhl stayed with the 194th Dental Detachment and was the Commanding Officer until it was deactivated. She remained in the reserve, was promoted to Colonel, served a tour in Kuwait during OIF. She is now the commander of a Medical-Dental Command in the Army Reserve with enough time to retire.
Conclusion: Have no trepidation regarding the desire or ability of the ladies to serve well and faithfully. They will follow the rules, but expect them to question unreasonable decisions.

We have stuck together since the late 1950s for the sake of the kids,
but the whole of this latest e******n process has made me realize that I
want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for
the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly
run its course.
Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.
Here is a model separation agreement: Our two groups can equitably
divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That
will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a
friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our
respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since
both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes. We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU.
Since you h**e guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and
the military. We'll take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you cango with wind, solar and biodiesel. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie
O'Donnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them.
We'll keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies,
WalMart and Wall Street.. You can have your beloved lifelong welfare
dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal
aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and
rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood .
You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.
We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill..
We'll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks and over-sized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.
You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.
We'll keep "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "The National Anthem." I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute "Imagine", "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing", "Kum Ba Ya" or "We Are the World".

I just finished reading, He Talks, We Listen in the online edition of NJ Savvy Living. The article recounts the polling efforts of Scott Rasmussen, the mover behind Rasmussen Polls that I follow faithfully.
I have followed p**********l politics beginning in 1932 and watched most of the major polls. One question I cannot recall being asked by any pollster, Would you be receptive to an all female P**********l ticket? I have no idea what the numbers would be in answer to that question: but I am more than a little curious.
America has had universal suffrage for so relatively few years, yet throughout the world, there have been 57 female heads of government. It appears the rights to v**e and to hold high office are mutually exclusive.
Allow me to ask one simple question and then make an unheard of and revolutionary suggestion:
Who should be the next President of The United States? In America, it always comes down to some millionaire, intellectual, dilettante or downright incompetent as the candidates.
Women the world over have served in responsible positions and not one has been accused of a crime or a failure to perform. Eleanor Roosevelt was a far more decent person then her philandering husband and she was one considerably more humane.
Golda Meir led Israel through some of its darkest days; Even the Muslims put a female into power when they elected Ben**ir Bhutto as Prime Minister of Pakistan. Margaret Thatcher served long and well for Great Britain.
Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin have the real stuff to serve as President. Both have far more integrity that Obama. There is no doubt in this old man's mind that a Bachmann/Palin ticket would be exactly what America has needed for years. Failure is not in their collective vocabulary, nor is deceit, arrogance or dishonesty. In addition, they are better looking and a credit to America's womanhood. I rest my case.

Dereliction of Duty

Any United States Serviceman or Woman who committed even a fraction of the offenses committed by their Commander-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama would have been charged with, at the very least, Dereliction of Duty under Article 92 of the UCMJ.
I should like to cite a few instances. It was the duty of Barack Obama to provide Governor Brewer of Arizona, proper advice Vis à Vis SB 1070. Rather than provide the proper advice, he compounded the problem by ordering his Attorney General, Eric Holder to file a frivolous lawsuit against her. The proper advice was, The Executive of any of the several states has the authority to repel an invader when the danger appears to be imminent (United States Constitution, Article I, Section 10, Para 3.)
Mr. Obama had the further duty under Article II, Section I Paragraph 8 to defend the Constitution of the United States, which he failed to do.
Mr. Obama stated publicly that he would not enforce The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) Pub.L. 104-199, 110 Stat. 2419. In this his Attorney General, Eric Holder, supported him.
Mr. Obama finally released a Long form record of birth that has been called a forgery by a recognized expert. Mr. Obama has yet to prove his qualification to serve as POTUS.
On May 19, 2011, President Obama ordered a missile strike on the sovereign nation of Libya, an act in direct violation of the United States Constitution that states; without equivocation, only Congress has such authority under Article I, Section 8. Notwithstanding his capacity as the Commander-in-Chief of the Nations Armed Forces, Mr. Obama overstepped his authority and is himself responsible for untold casualties to Libyan citizens and damage to Libyan property.
Mr. Obama invited foreign powers and any interested parties to join in his lawsuit against the Sovereign State of Arizona thus diminishing the good opinion held of Governor Brewer, and the entire State of Arizona.

By what stretch of any intelligent individuals imagination do migrant workers and now blatantly i*****l a***ns get the fanciful idea that this great republic owes them special treatment?
While there is little doubt that the braceros and other itinerant agricultural workers contributed a much needed labor force to our agricultural enterprises, no further guarantee was made to include citizenship, food stamps, health care or a pathway to future citizenship. They were paid the going rate, much of which was sent to Mexico in addition to the Foreign Aid we supplied year after year after year.
What did we get in return? An invasion of i*****l a***ns, far too many of whom brought pregnant women who received free prenatal and obstetrics care while they gave birth to a nuevo natural born citizen. These children, in many cases, too many, matured while being cared for by their i*****l a***n parents and in most cases thrived on public assistance with the services of a full-service hospital providing FREE health care.
So long as the numbers remained relatively small, little to no problem; we are a kind and loving people, generous to a fault and far too willing to overlook the theft of services, including education, by mostly unemployed aliens.
Ultimately, these selfsame automatic citizens, the offspring, received a decent education and then became radicalized by the liberals and began protesting their fringe status, tore down American F**gs, set them on fire, urinated and stomped on them. That is one disgraceful way to pay respect to the folks who gave you help to which you had no entitlement.

Sur as hell it is not to go to foreign lands and put a Democratic Republic into place, nor is it to chance the culture of billions of Muslims. We have an enemy right here on our Southern Border and they are not all Mexicans. There are Somalians, Arabs, Libyans, Nigerians, members of Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood, all sworn enemies. What is the responsibility of the President? By Oath or Affirmation, the President is duty bound to preserve and protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Most are non-productive, utilize assets otherwise needed by American citizens and have demonstrated outright hostility to an over-generous host. The State of Arizona went to great length to insure that i*****l a***ns overrunning the state were treated fairly and objectively. The United States Constitution is patently clear in noting that a States Chief Executive has absolute discretionary authority to take such action as necessary to halt warlike actions by an invader. Obama then invited other interested parties to join in his injunctive action by filing their own law suits. Several nations did so as well as the pro-Hispanic Organization, LaRaza which is anti-American claiming that those portions of California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas ceded to the United States by the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo in 1848, still belong to Mexico. I would suggest that one Arizona Congressman, Raul Grijalva, a radical and highly vocal supporter of LaRaza treads the fine line of Treason as do both Obama and Holder. Though a supposedly friendly neighbor, Mexico has done virtually nothing to halt the flow of i******s into the United States a situation akin to aggression and invasion necessitating aggressive repulsion and eviction.

The situation room was created as a quick response room so the President could have active live feeds and make quick decisions. Yet absolutely NO counteraction was set into motion. At the very least, a high level investigation must be conducted sooner than later. To this writer the facts are glaringly obvious. Obama was so intent on getting reelected, that he failed utterly to carry out his immediate responsibilities---Save these Brave Americans--- tomorrow is too late. Obama the Muslim was more concerned about extraneous matters than he was about his sworn duty to protect Americans. He is the poorest excuse for a leader I have had the displeasure of observing in my 88 years, 42 in the service of my country. Dereliction of duty fails to project the severity of his failure. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
A Citizens petition to the 113th Congress of the United States
An individual sits in the Oval Office usually with his feet callously placed upon the Rutherford B. Hayes desk. He pontificates to his minions, Czars appointed by him without recourse to approval by the Congress. How much time is allotted to an interloper to wreak all manner of havoc on our great republic? It is now Four Years, Two Months and 74 days that Barack Hussein Obama has been permitted to cavalierly run roughshod over the manners and morals of this Greatest of Nations.
Mr. Osama contributed absolutely nothing to our successes nor to our military prowess during the Twentieth Century. Any and all efforts made by Mr. Obama were at best self-serving and at worst counter to the best efforts we have mustered in our time of turmoil and foreign wars. He personifies the dissident socialist and would-be dictator as indicated by his oft stated promise to Do it my way if Congress does not see fit to accede to my wishes.
His overt threat to Majority Leader Cantor was a gross insult to the House of Representatives, a breach of etiquette, ethics and common decency. Mr. Obamas absolute disrespect for the Constitution is appalling, a violation of the P**********l Oath of Office and basic polite behavior.
His boorish behavior toward Governor Brewer is unacceptable as is his obsequies bowing and scraping to foreign Heads of State in contradistinction to his very open and undiplomatic behavior to Prime Minister Netanyahu when Mr. Netanyahu was a Guest of the United States.
The aforementioned misbehavior pales in comparison to the High Crimes and Misdemeanors committed by Mr. Obama and for which he has yet to be even questioned, censured, Impeached or brought to trial. His catalog of High Crimes and Misdemeanors is voluminous. I here offer just a sampling. During his 2007 and 2008 campaign for the presidency, he offered ho credentials for that high office, he claimed to be a qualified citizen. That has never been determined.
Mr. Obama made promises, more than the typical lies of campaigning contenders for high office. These prevarications amount to the crime of perjury for which Mr. Obama should have been impeached during his first term in his usurped office. That would have been possible during the Second Session of the 112th Congress; however Speaker Boehner disingenuously told me, We dont have enough v**es, when in fact only a simple majority is all that is required to impeach.
Mr. Obama did on March 19, 2011, without consulting Congress, order American forces to launch air strikes against Libyan forces using UN Security Council Resolution 1973 as his singular authority. He was in direct violation of the United States Constitution, which gives the United States Congress sole power to declare war. Obviously Obama overstepped his authority. An impeachable offense. As a matter of fact such action under the circumstances cited may be considered Treason.
Mr. Obama, utilizing Executive Orders rather than Congressional legislation has exercised a t***sition of power to the Executive Branch not warranted by the situation;
We have a functioning Congress, albeit not able to pass even the most basic legislation.
Nearly every President from Andrew Jackson another Imperial President and the First Democrat, has attempted to become the dominant Branch of our Government. History records only Democrats seem to be infected with this ailment. Harry Truman was an obvious exception. Character was his guiding principle. Obama has a decided lack of character.
The Guiding Spirit of this great nation is its Judeo-Christian Ethic. Mr. Obama has absolutely none in his acquired persona. He is by birth, habit, action and practice a Muslim and in spite of his faith in Islam, he has publicly abandoned both Christianity and Islam in favor of the L**T lifestyle, detested and forbidden by both Christianity and Islam. This is not unexpected, his spiritual mentor in Chicago was Jeremiah Wright, a renegade Christian who provided suitable marriages for those on the DownLow.
Both Mr. Obama and his Attorney General, Eric Holder provided false advice and a warning to Governor Brewer in the wake of her signing into law, SB 1070. The Constitution in Article I, Section 10, paragraph 3 explicitly states that the Chief Executive of any of the several states, in the face of an imminent threat may take such action as deemed necessary to repel the foreign invaders. In plain language, both lied.
In the matter of Fast and Furious both lied repeatedly and to this very day have refused to turn over to the House documents related to that deadly episode.
Simply because LTC Terry Lakin correctly questioned Obamas eligibility to serve, he was railroaded, Dishonorably Discharged and imprisoned in Leavenworth.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, Obama has proved to be an arrogant, disobedient servant, an unmitigated liar. treacherous, deceptive, unmanly, inhumane, a bully and a narcissistic, self-admirer with aspirationS of emperorship. Time for the 113th Congress to pull him up short, try him in a court of law and if and when found guilty, Execution by h*****g as befits a T*****r.

I am a Christian Constitutional Conservative with a passion for the country I have served for over Forty years. I am married to the same great lady with whom I fell in love in 1946, we have a grown daughter, three grown granddaughters and five great grandchildren. I have long held the belief that America's women have been deliberately (misogynistically) denied a place at the biggest decision making tables in America. Specifically that one in the Oval Office known as the Rutherford B. Hayes Desk. I know it is time for a change. One of you gracious ladies may well be our Forty-fifth Chief Executive.
