AMEN!!!, Very well stated, a MASTERPIECE of telling it like it is. Many people may think that people of old age are useless. Let me remind them that Moses who was one of the greatest Prophets that ever lived was 80 years of age when God called him to take on the enormous task of leading the children of Israel out of the nation of Egypt in whom they had been in bondage to for 400 years. God did not give this assignment to a spring chicken, he gave it to a man of old age.

I remember a famous radio announcer in Los Angeles who had been on the radio for many years, stated that when he was very young, that his mother told him that a person can have all the education in the world, but if they don't have common sense, they are nothing more than an educated i***t. That describes who we have today running our government, a bunch of educated i***ts.

Let's talk about what JESUS promised. In John 12:32, JESUS promised that He is going to draw All people to Himself.

Colossians 1:20 tell us that the death of Christ on the Cross was God’s means of reconciling to Himself the whole creation, ALL things in heaven and ALL things on earth.”

Isaiah 45:23, Philippines 2:10-11, Revelation 5:13 tells us that every knee shall bow and confess that JESUS is Lord. The meaning of these verses goes even deeper in telling us that every individual will swear their allegiance to the Lord.

If people are going to spend eternity burning in a Lake of Fire, they certainly are not going to confess that JESUS is Lord and sweat their allegiance to Him.

JESUS often used metaphors in His teachings. Once we understand this, then it become clear that Hell and the Lake of Fire are simply metaphors.

I would like to share God’s promise to us, His creation.

The “GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST” can best be summed up in the words of JESUS when He made the “GREATEST PROMISE EVER,” which is that He will draw ALL people unto Himself. (John 12:32)

My name is Alan Finch. JESUS became my Lord and Saviour in April of 1976.

I spent several years diligently searching the Scriptures to uncover what really made Biblical sense in regards to God's true message to us of what really is “The Good News of the Gospel of Christ” which I did not properly understand for most of my many years as a Christian.

My 1st 38 years as a Christian, I believed the unscriptural teaching about that there is going to be eternal torment for multitudes and multitudes of people. I then began to seriously question that teaching. I then decided to do an in-depth study of the Bible concerning this issue, and the Scriptures revealed to me that I had believed a horrible lie for all those years.

The Lake of Fire is not a physical Lake of Fire, but is a metaphor for a Spiritual Lake of Fire from God’s Spirit for the purpose of “RESTORATION.” God is a God of “ETERNAL RESTORATION,” not a God of “eternal destruction.”

In Acts 3:21 God promises that there shall be a “RESTORATION” of ALL things! What is there not to understand about this wonderful promise that God has made to us?

The overall theme of the Bible is that God’s ultimate plan for ALL mankind is to restore, not destroy in an eternal Lake of Fire or eternal annihilation!

In John 12:32 JESUS clearly states that He is going to draw ALL people to Himself! Not a portion of mankind, but ALL of mankind.

In John 6:44 JESUS clearly states that nobody can come to Him except the Father draws that person to Him. For those who are true Christians, WE MUST NOT KID OURSELVES IN THE FACT THAT WE ONLY CAME TO JESUS BECAUSE GOD’S SPIRIT DREW US TO JESUS!

In the present time, and in the future, God has His own timing when He will draw each individual to Himself.

Addressing the issue of the belief in eternal annihilation, the Lord clearly tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that He has planted eternity in our hearts. God has made us living Spirits. It is impossible for our Spirit to be destroyed.

GOD HAS NOT FAILED IN HIS ORIGINAL PLAN FOR ALL OF MANKIND WHICH DOES NOT INCLUDE ETERNAL TORMENT OR ETERNAL ANNIHILATION. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO FAIL IN ANYTHING!

God worked out His plan in past Ages, God is working out His plan in the present Age that we are now living in, and God will work out His plan in future Ages to come.

I have spent the last several years in Biblically expounding in a 32 page document that I have put together on the t***h of there being no eternal suffering in a Lake of Fire for anyone. I have just explained the real LOVE of God that today’s Church just simply does not seem to grasp.

THE GREATEST PROMISE EVER MADE was when JESUS declared in John 12:32 that He will draw ALL people unto Himself.

Even though the teaching of God’s all-inclusive love has been opposed and suppressed by more powerful churches teaching a God of eternal torment. It is as if despite man’s most strenuous efforts to stop it, the Holy Spirit keeps on reminding people that Jesus came to earth to bring Good News.

The main purpose of Jesus Christ coming to this world was to proclaim and reveal a God who loves all people with a parental love, who will never give up on any soul, and who has a plan for the reconciliation of all things.

When Jesus spoke of God’s judgment upon the wicked, he did so with words that implied a limited, corrective punishment. Specifically, he referred to divine judgment as aionios kolasis, meaning age-long chastisement.

Jesus explicitly prophesied that after his death on the cross and resurrection, he will “draw all people to myself.” (John 12:32).

Over time, alternative doctrines about the fate of sinners grew more popular, such as annihilationism and eternal conscious torment. These doctrines were often held by Christians who could not read the New Testament in the original Greek language in which it was written, and who interpreted the Bible through the lens of barbaric forms of paganism.

There are too many significant figures in the 18th and 19th century American Universalist movement to discuss them all. Some of the most influential or notable people include George de Benneville, Elhanan Winchester, Benjamin Rush, Thomas Potter, John Murray, Hosea Ballou, John Wesley Hanson, Hannah Whitall Smith, and Olympia Brown. Many famous Americans of this era believed in Universalism, including such household names as Abraham Lincoln, president of the United States; Clara Barton, founder of the Red Cross; and Florence Nightingale, pioneer of modern nursing.

Most people do not know that Lincoln wrote an essay in 1833 arguing for “predestinated universal salvation in criticism of the orthodox doctrine of endless punishment.”

The truth of the matter is that the teaching of "ETERNAL TORMENT" is complete "HERESY." If you really want to search out the truth on this subject (or are you just all talk), I challenge you to go to your search engine and key in the wording: "The history of universalism - Christian Universalist Association"

How can any Christian possibly believe that God is going to send anyone to suffer "ETERNAL TORMENT" for trillions of trillions of trillions of trillions of years with no end in sight. Anyone that believes that has no concept of who God really is, and has no concept of what Christ's shed Blood on the Cross is all about. Christians need to wake up and come to their senses.

Below, I thank God for sending me these Christians who have hearing ears. As I have stated before, I have learned that you can present Scriptural truth to people until you are blue in the face, and they will still refuse to change their position.

I was a Christian for 38 years before I began to seriously question what is being taught in the Church today and is excepted by most Christians as being Biblical truth about eternal damnation in a Lake of Fire. I then began to do a very in-depth study of the Scriptures. What I discovered in the Scriptures was much different than what is being taught in the Church today.

I will not be responding to your replies anymore. Nothing is going to convince you otherwise. That is why that you have no interest in reading my 32 page document.

Like you, we have been Christians for about forty years and only recently (I can't believe it took so long) began to feel extremely uncomfortable about the idea of an eternal hell of conscious torment and suffering for unbelievers. What happens is, I think, a bit like the fairy tale by Hans Christian Anderson, "The Emperor's New Clothes". The Emperor is actually naked but everyone exclaims what an elegant and beautiful outfit he is wearing because they've been told that only intelligent, sophisticated people can appreciate the subtle quality of the suit. No-one dares state the obvious until a small child shouts out that he's not wearing anything at all. It's like that in the church today with so many of the things you've written about in your excellent article. It's time to wake up.

I hadn’t really studied what was installed for us in the afterlife as I presumed it would be Sheol for the unbelievers and unfaithful; the ones strong in Christ and the martyrs, I believed would rule and reign with Jesus after the millennium but with your thorough explanations, I now know the former is not true, quite a revelation for me and will now go back over the New testament to gain a clearer understanding. This is indeed a topic that has tugged on my heart very strongly. I feel led to unveil the truth of after death and the hellfire doctrine. For so long you hear the doctrine of burning in eternal Hellfire being spread from generation to generation. I myself was taught that growing up and still hear it at funerals and in many teachings. As I clearly stated in my comment, JESUS clearly stated in John 6:44 that no person can come to Him unless the Father draws Him to JESUS. You only came to JESUS as a result of God's Spirit drawing you to JESUS. A large portion of the human race never had the Spirit of God draw them to JESUS. Also there are many who never even heard of JESUS. God is certainly not going to send them to eternal damnation in a Lake of For for ALL eternity!

I am always amazed that people will not even request a copy of my article. I did not spend several years in putting together a 32 page document that is full of nonsense. I did not just give 2 or 3 Bible verses. It is a 32 page document that is filled with much Scriptural evidence.

I have posted comments on a number of websites. There have been a number of people who have requested a copy of my document and after reading my article, they emailed me back thanking me for giving them clearer understanding on this topic. I even had a retired Pastor email me back thanking me for the article. He stated that it helped him a great deal.

In my 46 years as a Christian, I have come to realize that many Christians who are presented with Biblical truth, just simply will refuse to accept it as truth. I have learned to not concern myself with their unbelief. Instead I take great joy in those who recognize the contents of my document as Biblical truth.

Key evangelical figures who previously supported Donald Trump are backing off now that he’s announced his third bid for the presidency.

“Donald Trump can’t save America,” Mike Evans told the Washington Post. “He can’t even save himself.”

Evans was part of a group of evangelicals who met with Trump at the White House, and at one point gave him an award.

Now, he says he’s done with Trump.

“He used us to win the White House. We had to close our mouths and eyes when he said things that horrified us,” he told the newspaper. “I cannot do that anymore.”

The way that Trump degrades anybody who does not bow down to him expresses his true character. What is there to not understand about that? In the past, I v**ed for Trump. However, just because I am a Republican, I am not going to turn a blind eye to his out of control ego, which will stop at nothing to try and destroy anyone who does not bow down to his every whim.

Donald Trump's character is deeply flawed, especially in the way that he treats people. The Bible is very clear that God judges a person by their character. A person may have done a lot of good things, but what matters to God is their true motives.

A good example of this is the way in which many of the Christian TV Networks go about raising money during their money raising telethons. It is quite sickening. They brag about how much good they are doing with the money that is raised during these money raising telethons.

In order to raise as much money as possible, they twist the Scriptures of the Bible completely out of context. This is a very effective way for them to fleece as much money out of people as possible. They present the Scriptures of the Bible in such a way as to imply that if a person wants to be blessed by God, they must sow seed by sending in money to their ministry. How sick is that? We cannot buy blessings from God. That is an ultimate insult to God.

So, even though these Christian networks may do a lot of good things, it is not being blessed by God, because they manipulate the Scriptures of God's Word to fleece people out of much money as possible.

CHARACTER MATTERS!

I am a Republican. I was in disbelief at how badly the Republicans did in the e******n. After giving it much thought, I have come to the conclusion that it is a combination of Trump having become quite toxic to the Republican Party, and the fact that the Democrats are better at strategizing than the Republicans.

Having a good message is not good enough. There must be a good strategy to deliver the message!

I live in Arizona. The i*****l i*******ts are pouring into this State daily. If this keeps up there will be more i*****l i*******ts than U.S. citizens in this state. Oh well, that is what the people v**ed for, so they will get exactly what they v**ed for.

I am disappointed that the Republican Party did not do near as well as I thought they would in this e******n. However, there is really a very great bright spot in the fact that DeSantis and Mark Rubio won by such wide margins, surpassing all expectations.

Even though that the Republicans did not win with a big red wave this go around, I am convinced that will not be the case in 2024. DeSantis has clearly established himself as the face of the Republican Party, because under his leadership, he ran the state of Florida with a great deal of wisdom. Also, unlike Trump, he knows how to control his mouth. In fact, Trump is already declaring that he is going to reveal some unpleasant things about DeSantis. Trump just can't keep his mouth shut. Trump's ego will not allow him to keep his mouth shut. If Trump does not get his way, he becomes very vindictive.

Get ready for the big red wave in 2024!!!

I live in Arizona and I hope and pray that Kari Lake wins. It is beginning to look like that Kari Lake is going to slowly pull ahead. But leave it to Arizona to screw everything up. I lived in Southern California for 35 years. My wife and I moved to Arizona in 2004.
