Worry seems like I am doing something. Wh**ever it is--the economy, our vacation, next week's picnic, my daughter's recital--I feel worry is somehow being dutiful. Yet, and I did not count these myself, supposedly there are 356 injunctions in the Bible against worry (fear). This seems wrong to me as a parent. Isn't it natural and right to worry about our child in strange circumstances beyond our presence or control? Are we really human and Christian to let their safety go and be at peace, trusting in God to protect them?

Obviously, I am a sinner in this category of "Fear not." Yet I do not feel comfortable in that role, either justified nor condemned. I am perplexed over this point. Help needed!

Much of what I gathered about being a "true christian" goes against basic instinct and other world functions that seem proper and right.

Where in any bible does it say gay marriage is OK?

RETW 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Where does it say ATM machines are okay? Or credit cards? Or blood t***sfusions? Or TV? Or the internet? Or stockings? Or.....name it!

I am against gay marriage from my understanding of nature and the word. However, these are not salient arguments. Not in America. I have no case. We are not a nation based on Christ, for nowhere is he mentioned in all our founding documents, but one based on the principle of e******y. That the argument can be extended about sexual partners ad infinitum, to children and animals and wh**ever, that is not the case before us as a nation.

Two loving guardians for a child is to care for the least of these. A heterosexual union does not insure that care. Nor does a gay one. Our concern is not for the possible sin of the parents but for the child's safety and well-being. Gay couples can and cannot as much heterosexual couples guarantee that safety and well-being. If we are worried about a child's environment, truly concerned they get the best nurturing, then we have to invite the government into our living space to monitor how we treat our children. We do not want this action!

A LITTLE HOLY HUMOR

During these serious and troubled times, people of all faiths should remember these four great religious t***hs:

1. Muslims do not recognize Jews as God's Chosen People.
2. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
3. Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the leader of the Christian world.
4. Baptists do not recognize each other at the liquor store.

GOOD SAMARITAN
A Sunday school teacher was telling her class the story of the Good Samaritan. She asked the class, "If you saw a person lying on the roadside, all wounded and bleeding, what would you do?"
A thoughtful little girl broke the hushed silence, "I think I'd throw up."

DID NOAH FISH?
A Sunday school teacher asked, "Johnny, do you think Noah did a lot of fishing when he was on the Ark ?"
"No," replied Johnny. "How could he, with just two worms."

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD
A Sunday School teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most quoted passages in the Bible - Psalm 23. She gave the youngsters a month to learn the chapter. Little Rick was excited about the task - but he just couldn't remember the Psalm. After much practice, he could barely get past the first line.
On the day that the kids were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of the congregation, Ricky was so nervous. When it was his turn, he stepped up to the microphone and said proudly, "The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to know."

UNANSWERED PRAYER
The preacher's 5 year-old daughter noticed that her father always paused and bowed his head for a moment before starting his sermon. One day, she asked him why.
"Well, Honey," he began, proud that his daughter was so observant of his messages. "I'm asking the Lord to help me preach a good sermon."
"How come He doesn't answer it?" she asked.

BEING THANKFUL
A Rabbi said to a precocious six-year-old boy, "So your mother says your prayers for you each night? That's very commendable. What does she say?"
The little boy replied, "Thank God he's in bed!"

ALL MEN / ALL GIRLS
When my daughter, Kelli, said her bedtime prayers, she would bless every family member, every friend, and every animal (current and past). For several weeks, after we had finished the nightly prayer, Kelli would say, "And all girls."
This soon became part of her nightly routine, to include this closing. My curiosity got the best of me and I asked her, "Kelli, why do you always add the part about all girls?"
Her response, "Because everybody always finish their prayers by saying 'All Men'!"

SAY A PRAYER
Little Johnny and his family were having Sunday dinner at his Grandmother's house. Everyone was seated around the table as the food was being served. When Little Johnny received his plate, he started eating right away. "Johnny! Please wait until we say our prayer." said his mother.
"I don't need to," the boy replied.
"Of course, you do" his mother insisted. "We always say a prayer before eating at our house."
"That's at our house." Johnny explained. "But this is Grandma's house and she knows how to cook."

The Apostle Paul warned the churches in Rome, Corinth, Galatia, Philippi, Collose, Ephesus, and Thessalonica about denying the Word of God. Seems our churches today are not getting the message.

The church of America and other countries are fulfilling prophecy for the end times, but this is not good: They are of worldly and political complaint, which is ungodly but predicted.

Wow. You got all that from this: 'Political correctness is only about possibly correcting entrenched and harmful views towards minorities and those in menial positions. That's it!' Any thing else along those lines is an escape from r****m and accountability.

Everyone who digest facts may get a different conclusion. So it is with Ferguson, Mo. The pop of Ferguson is composed of 67% Negro. According to stats, nationwide Negros, 12.4% of pop commit 5 times the # of violent crimes as W****s. B****s made up 50% of the prison populations. That's about 5 times their population #s. Ferguson police arrests percentages were far below the national average. Where's the r****m. It is being invented by Holder. as soon as I read Holders statement on the subject I could see his r****m. His hypothesis is that Ferguson police were r****t and he fabricated the stats to confirm his hypothesis. It's all a fabrication.

I find absolutely no conflict with Genesis in looking to a broader explanation of our origins. This book does not rule it out and gives nothing to say it ain't so. An actual couple named Adam and Eve? What if future archeological discoveries determines their names were Billie Bob and Betty Sue, do we disregard Genesis?
