I KNOW my Savior lives, He lives within my heart. He gives me comfort when times are tough and keeps me humble when I'm prosperous. He is my parakaleo, my Comforter and Life source. Secretary of Atheist Society(In Nigeria) Resigns After Discovering Jesus Christ Is Real… and He Saves


Seth Mahiga was a proud atheist who dedicated his life to everything the Gospel stood against.

Refusing to accept the reality of Jesus Christ, he lived a life in darkness – and was committed to making sure others lived the same.

Until one day, he made a shocking announcement in front of a church congregation that changed everything.

Seth Mahiga stood onstage and told the congregation he had been going through some difficult times, so he decided to resign as secretary of the Atheists in Kenya Society.

He concluded to say he was happy to be at church.

His announcement was met with applause and praise, and in the video, a man (likely the pastor) could be heard saying, “The Bible says that every knee shall bow,” to which the congregants roared a loud AMEN!

Ironically, further proclaiming the name of Jesus, Atheists in Kenya Society tweeted out the reason Mahiga resigned.

“This evening, regretfully, our Secretary Mr. Seth Mahiga made the decision to resign from his position as Secretary of our society.

Seth’s reason for resigning is that he has found Jesus Christ and is no longer interested in promoting atheism in Kenya.”

Isn’t the power of God incredible!

Here was a man who denied the existence of God.

A man who was actually on the leadership team spreading atheism in Kenya, leading people away from Christ.

But by the power of God’s Word and His Holy Spirit, Mahiga could no longer deny the life-saving t***h of Jesus Christ.

And so he was willing to leave everything behind to follow Christ and proclaim Him as Lord!

This story shows, yet again, that no human being is too far gone to receive the love of Christ.

The power of God’s Word is supernatural and can pierce through even the hardest of hearts.

As we look around at a world that is increasingly becoming hostile to Christ, it can be hard to remember the promises of God.

But fellow Christian, take heart!

As God’s Word says:

“that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11

Of course, we won’t see this completed on this side of heaven.

But we WILL see the lives of those who h**ed Christ t***sformed by the power of God’s Word.

Let’s continue to pray for all atheists – that their p***e and the hardness of their hearts will be softened by the power of the Gospel.

If you have a friend or family member who denies Christ, don’t give up hope!

Keep praying for them. Invite them to church.

Or if they are resistant to anything that has to do with Christianity, even inviting them over for a meal into your home and letting them see how you live your life could be another seed planted.

And don’t be ashamed to talk about the Gospel or how Jesus changed your life to everyone you meet!

By sharing the Gospel and its supernatural t***h, you may be the instrument God is using to lead someone to Christ.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” – John 3:16-17

Peter, let me finish by saying, YOU are loved by a great and mighty God, but your sin stands between you. Never the less, it is an amazing sacrificial love that sent Christ to the cross. On the third day He arose. His arisen, live person was seen and testified to by over 500 people who saw Him ascend into Heaven.. And He's coming back for His own. I'd sure like to see you there!
