I live in Illinois and as much as what the letter describes Dick Durbin, it’s about to get much, much worse here. Our shiny new governor is a venture capital billionaire who is firmly entrenched in the Chicago machine who has been gifted with a Democrat supermajority to do anything he wants. He ran on a platform of raising taxes at an unprecedented level and undoing everything that President Trump has done. Since Illinois was already on the verge of bankruptcy and has been number one in the nation for several years in having both businesses and working age people moving out of state, I can’t wait to see how deep into the septic tank we go this time. Durbin is one of the worst politicians of all time, yes, but Illinois is plagued by an abundance of them.

When I was in Scotland a year or so ago, I asked a local how Scotland was dealing with terrorists. He thought for a bit and said he had only heard of one event at the Glasgow airport where a guy made a threat and a Scottish baggage handler promptly beat the snot out of him. Other than that they have left Scotland alone. After having visited my ancestral homeland, I can fully believe the article above about the Scotsman on the show. Of all the products that Scotland has to offer, I found that they have a complete lack of F*cks to give.

Thank you all for these informative and clearly written posts. This brings me more information that I can use in some of my discussions I have with some of my more naive and credulous associates. I have been a big believer in c*****e c****e. My issue has been what is the actual driving force and why do people have the hubris and arrogance to think that we could change it deliberately and if we did start to change the earths climate what makes them think it would be for the better. I have asked several of them, “what makes you think that what we have for climate right now, right this day, is optimal. What if we had some g****l w*****g and increased C02 and the deserts started greening up and we had tens of thousands of square miles that were useable again?” I usually get yelled at and dire warnings about some vague doomsday thing where everyone is going to die. Quite frankly, if the earth needed to remove humans, it’s going to happen whether we want it to or not. The main problem I’m having is the people saying we need to do this or that or we’re all going to die are proposing “solutions” that would result in widespread poverty and loss of freedoms with no discernible gains. It also seems to involve a lot of giving money and power to people who really like money and power who don’t seem to be inclined to give up any of their own comforts and privileges but require the unwashed masses to give up theirs. I approach the majority of c*****e c****ers as if it was a religion because that’s what it seems to be for them.

Personally, I have advocated for no more than two terms as a limit and when you’re out of office you get no further recompense. No retirement plan from your elected office, no nothing. You go back to the private sector and move on

The Wild and Wacky World of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

I’m just glad that I support no political philosophy that would require attempting to defend the ideas presented by AOC, Corey Booker (credibly accused sexual assaulter), Ellison (credibly accused sexual assaulter), Kamala Harris (credibly accused side chick and home wrecker), nor have to realize I’m siding with people like Don Lemon (proven r****t and bigot) or Joy Behar (proven hypocrite, r****t and bigot). I believe in God and that America is the greatest country on earth. No other country has provided so much opportunity to everyone across the economic, racial or g****r spectrum. The policies that are consistently being pushed by Democrats, socialists and Muslims (as I repeat myself) do not provide opportunity, only restriction.

How's The Weather

I just got back from seeing my younger daughter in college in South Dakota. It was 2 degrees wind chill over the weekend and isn’t a lot warmer here in my neck of Illinois. I’m looking a snowfall in the face for tonight but Friday is opening day of deer season and the temps look favorable. It will be peaceful out in the woods as I contemplate Gods bounty and wait for a fat doe to wander by.

I live in Illinois. I know exactly what Democrats are and what they do when they are in power any length of time. Just keep an eye on the state for awhile since Pritzker just got elected as our governor. The corruption just went from Olympic class to professional. I predict that Illinois will end up declaring bankruptcy and the dems have a supermajority to make sure it happens.

Colorado asserts right to renew attack on baker's Christianity

Funny thing. Steven Crowder did a study in which he went to a lot of different bakers posing as a homosexual man wanting a cake baked. Every one of them turned him down, some very impolitely. However, the difference was that all the bakers were Muslims. I would be very interested in a court case and the news coverage of a gay couple suing a Muslim baker for not baking them a cake. I wonder why the gay community doesn’t go after them next. Go figure.
