Desperate Liz Cheney now appealing to DEMOCRATS to v**e for her
Jun. 23, 2022 3:49 pm by The Right Scoop

Liz Cheney is so desperate to get v**es that she is now appealing to Democrats in Wyoming to switch their party affiliation just so they can v**e for her.

Here’s more from the NY Times:

Representative Liz Cheney, a Republican of Wyoming whose polling remains far behind her Trump-endorsed primary challenger as her House committee’s J*** 6 hearings continue, is urging Democrats in her home state to switch parties to support her in the Aug. 16 primary.

In the last week, Wyoming Democrats have received mail from Ms. Cheney’s campaign with specific instructions on how to change their party affiliation to v**e for her. Ms. Cheney’s campaign website now has a link to a form for changing parties.

Joseph Barbuto, the chairman of the Wyoming Democratic Party, was among those who received Ms. Cheney’s instructions. Mr. Barbuto said that over the last week, his social media feeds have been flooded with Democrats — and only Democrats — posting about receiving mailers from the Cheney campaign.

“I haven’t had any Republicans share online or tell me that they received it,” Mr. Barbuto said on Thursday.

Recruiting Democratic support has been a sensitive topic for Ms. Cheney since she v**ed to impeach former President Donald J. Trump following the J*** 6, 2021, attack. She has cast her August primary contest with Harriet Hageman, who is allied with and endorsed by Mr. Trump, as a battle for the soul of the Republican Party. Recruiting Democrats to that fight could undermine those efforts.

In a February interview in Cheyenne, Wyo., Ms. Cheney dismissed the possibility that she would make a concerted effort to reach out to Democrats asking them to change parties ahead of the primary.

“That is not something that I have contemplated, that I have organized or that I will organize,” Ms. Cheney told The New York Times then, adding that she would “work hard for every single v**e.”

Her spokesman, Jeremy Adler, said on Thursday that Ms. Cheney was “proud to represent all Wyomingites and is working hard to earn every v**e.”

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Liz wasn’t planning on reaching out to Democrats earlier this year but now they are her only hope of trying to beat Hagemen.

It suits her though. Really, she should just go ahead switch party affiliations herself and run as a Democrat and make it easy on Democratic v**ers in Wyoming. That would solve everything.

FYI: As of yesterday, she was 30 points behind the primary challenger.

She only cares about two things. One is her h**e for Trump and the other is herself. She has already proven she will misrepresent evidence and lie to achieve her goals. Now she will use any trick to stay in office. She fits right in with the Democrats.if she loses the primary do not be surprised if she runs as an Independent just to split the v**e and assure a Democrat victory. She cares nothing about the people of Wyoming.

Just listen to some of the unhinged comments from the President on down over the SCOTUS's decision supporting 2nd amendment rights. Some even calling for the Court to be abolished or that its ruling be ignored. Can anyone say "anarchy?"

It’s like the old tale of the frog who didn’t notice he was being boiled in water because the temperature was being turned up slowly.

Last year, President Joe Biden’s administration insisted the economy was fantastic and inflation was “t***sitory.” Then inflation wasn’t so t***sitory, but the economy was still doing well.

Then the economy wasn’t doing so well, but a recession wasn’t conceivable. Now, a recession is conceivable, but not “inevitable” and not “at all imminent,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said Sunday, according to CNBC.

However, don’t tell that to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who slipped up on Tuesday and phrased one of her answers as if she assumed a recession was a fait accompli.

(Here at The Western Journal, we’ve documented how the president’s economic policies — unchecked spending, poor priorities and unresponsiveness to the inflationary pressures felt by everyday Americans — would invariably lead to this point. We’ll keep bringing readers the t***h about liberalism’s failed promises. You can help us by subscribing.)

Jean-Pierre’s slip-up came after she was asked by a reporter about Biden’s remarks last week “that there’s no inevitability around a recession.”

“There is a greater deal of market concern about exactly that,” he said. “And I know that inflation is your No. 1 concern, but can you talk a little bit about if you’re doing anything at all to prevent a recession or a rise in unemployment?”

Jean-Pierre framed her response by saying the economy and the country was “in a moment of t***sition.”

“We have seen — we are in a unique situation with our — with the historical gains with our economy,” she said. “The way that we see it, this unemployment rate has held steady at 3.6, which is also near historic lows. Business and investment remain strong; household balance sheets remain strong.”

She cited “an analysis that came out recently that showed middle-class Americans had an additional $10,000 in savings than before the p******c” and that “another analysis found that all income groups had higher checking account balances at the end of March than they had pre-p******c.”

These weren’t exactly ringing endorsements for the administration’s economic policies, considering much of this went into the accounts of people who could Zoom into work, came from a lack of engagement with the wider economy that caused businesses to shutter and was bolstered by infusions of government cash we’ll eventually have to pay for. (Jean-Pierre didn’t mention what analyses these were, although it’s also worth noting one that she was likely citing was from the Brookings Institution, a left-wing think-tank that is to the Democratic Party what a cheerleading squad is to a high-school football team.)

Nailed that landing. A+. Bravo, Karine!

It may just have been a Freudian slip, but Jean-Pierre very briefly told the t***h about what the Biden administration truly believes: Yes, a recession is coming
, but the president has done more than enough to steel Americans against it by depositing huge chunks of government money in their bank accounts.

“So, we see that the strengths that we — our economic strength that we have seen from this past year from the action that the president has taken with the American Rescue Plan, with what we have seen with the historical gains, that is going to help us deal with a recession,” she continued. [Emphasis mine.]

Whoops! Better cover that one up: “Right now — we don’t see a recession right now,” said Jean-Pierre, doing her best impression of Biden tripping over his own words. “That is not — we’re not in a recession right now. Right now, we’re in a t***sition where we will — we are going to go into a place of stable and steady growth, and that’s going to be — that’s going to be our focus.

video

Except that’s probably not going to happen, either: “Infusions of government cash that warded off an economic calamity have left millions of households with bigger bank balances than before the p******c,” The New York Times’ Talmon Joseph Smith reported in December. “But many low-income Americans find their savings dwindling or even depleted. And for them, the economic recovery is looking less buoyant.”

“According to Moody’s Analytics, an economic research firm, these excess savings among many working- and middle-class households could be exhausted as soon as early next year — not only reducing their financial cushions but also potentially affecting the economy, since consumer spending is such a large share of activity. Multiple p******c-era federal aid programs expired in September, including the federal supplement to unemployment benefits.”

And good luck getting the Senate to sign on to more payments, particularly since West Virginia Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin has made it clear this level of deficit spending is too much for his palate.

And the inflation! There’s that, too — the highest level in over 40 years in May, 8.6 percent. Gross domestic product was down 1.5 percent in the first quarter of 2022, according to data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis. The Federal Reserve just hiked interest rates by .75 percent, the largest single hike since 1994 — a key sign that the Fed believes inflation needs to be reined in, and fast.

The water is definitely getting hotter, in other words, and the Biden administration is acknowledging it, however slowly and unwillingly.

A few minutes after it’s finally boiling, they’ll probably let us know. At least give this much to Karine Jean-Pierre, though: She openly admitted the administration’s biggest disaster yet is inevitable, if just inadvertently.

Yet, our OPP liberals will make excuses for Biden to the end.

The despicable governor of New York said do you know what concealed carry means? That means you can conceal a weapon and go into a subway or places like recent school shootings!

What the b***h doesn't say is legal gun owners aren't the ones committing all the crimes and aren't the problem. If they brought back stop and frisk crime rates would also go down but they would rather handcuff the police and not the criminals.

With people being able to carry maybe New York's crime rates will go down but they would never concede that.
Just another example of feckless Joe dividing the country.

Do they actually believe that criminals are not going to carry a concealed weapon just because there is a law against it? Gun laws only affect the law abiding citizens who need to be able to protect themselves.

Boy is the NY governor pissed. LOL

Americans have right to carry weapons for protection and ability to defend yourself.
26 States now have constitutional carry rights. 👍

I thought she was going to explode. As I said in my post because someone abused a right it does not provide justification for taking that right away from others.

The SCOTUS struck down the overly restrictive NY law on concealed weapons. Just because some abuse a right does not give cause to take away that right from others. Still waiting on Roe V. Wade decision. May the Court not cave to intimidation and continue to uphold the Cinstitution.
