Rod Rosenstein Gave Mueller Secret Permission to Expand Investigation Beyond Trump

Chris Ferrell Director of Investigations for Research for Judicial Watch recently spoke with Lou Dobbs of Fox Business about what he called a “really gross abuse of due process” in the Mueller investigation.

He revealed that Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein gave Robert Mueller “secret permissions” to expand his investigation of Paul Manafort last August. Manafort’s attorneys recently gained permission to make public that it was Rosenstein that allowed Muller to expand his investigation to as far back as 2006.

Ferrell’s comments echo ours here. By making such an open-ended mandate, Rosenstein opened the door to what we see now – resurrecting 2005 tax crimes, 2010 bank fraud crimes, and 2013 foreign agent crimes. Rob Rosenstein is “Deputy” Attorney and can only operate under constitutional duties granted to him when Jeff Sessions recused himself.

CBS News reported:

None of the charges Manafort currently faces alleges coordination with the Kremlin, and Manafort’s attorneys had used that point to argue that Mueller had exceeded his authority by bringing charges against him accusing him of various financial crimes and acting as an unregistered foreign agent on behalf of Ukrainian interests.

That paragraph is buried in a lengthy report that naturally gives Rosenstein a pass for ignoring due process.

Watch the video and learn why Ferrell sees Rosenstein ’s actions as giving Mueller and his team to permission to “do anything damned things they want.”

Rod Rosenstein Gave Mueller Secret Permission to E... (show quote)

In my humble opinion, the Rosenstein/Muller cabal is looking more and more like Strzok's "insurance policy" to complete the extra-judicial c**p d'état against President Trump. No wonder the probe is stacked with Dems; in that way, Rosenstein/Muller have no internal opposition and Mueller can count on absolute loyalty from his staff (a necessary element in any c**p d'état). If they attempt to complete the c**p d'état, this country may well descend into civil war.

What do you expect from Yahoo; the very organization that provided verification of the Steele dossier? I quit using Yahoo products a long time ago when it became obvious that they peddle politically-motivated, f**e news. They are not reliable or credible. Instead, why don't you read some analyses from more reliable, apolitical organizations like Pew? You will find the evidence of i******s v****g to be quite compelling. In many states, the very v***r r**********n system invites fraud. Thus, when a person applies for a driver's license they also r******r to v**e ("motor v**er"). They are asked: "Are you a US Citizen?". All the must do is check a box and viola they can v**e. No proof is necessary. If you think that abuse does not happen you must believe in the tooth fairy.

I'd like to cut them off now Mac. Tired of going to the grocery store and seeing the women with 4 or 5 kids using food stamps. I know because I'm the manager and I sold it to them. CUT THEM OFF NOW!!

I totally agree with you. Where I originally came from, if you were unemployed and on welfare, the government would give you three job listings and you were required to apply and interview before welfare would continue. That shook up a lot of free-loaders but it sure kept costs down for the rest of us.

Not much to say, but when I went to v**e on Tuesday in Missouri, I could hardly believe what happened! I've been v****g in Missouri for about 35 years, and nothing like this has ever happened before! I damn near had a heart attack!

At the starting point in the room, THE LADY OFFICIAL ASKED ME FOR A PHOTO ID! OMG! I had to dig out my drivers license, which was a HORRIBLE experience! An extremely difficult task that took about 10 or 12 seconds out of my busy day!

I congratulated her and thanked her profusely for asking! I might have given her a hug, but I didn't think that would be appropriate there in public and all. I hope this "strange" procedure continues! Maybe there is still hope for these here United States OF America!

I'm still having trouble getting over it, being a senior citizen and all. It was certainly a pleasant surprise! WOW! I finished v****g, and as I left the room I thanked her again! I felt good the rest of the day knowing I had pissed off a Progressive!

About time, IMHO!

I like it! Must have been a real burden, but then the Left wants everything handed to them on a platter without obligations. Welfare, no work. Food stamps, buy liquor, V****g, even if not legally entitled to do so. We of the more responsible ilk will have to cut them off some day and then you will hear them squeal!

I listened to the interview and the interviewee said that he v**ed for Trump because the alternative (Clinton) was worse. If you are going to quote at least be accurate.

The trade war that trump says doesn't exist clearly exists as China announced new tariffs on over $50 billion in good imported from the US. Of course the impact of all tariffs is to increase the cost of goods both sold and purchased--costs that will be t***sferred to the US citizen by either a loss of jobs or higher costs of goods over all.

So jump up and down my little faux capitalistic cons because the more you keep your mouth shut the more the more the autocrat you put in office destroys what you say you believe in with all your heart...

Peter S, you are just spouting obsolete left-wing propaganda and you clearly don't understand President Trumps strategy. To negotiate with anyone they must have something to lose. That was the reason for the tariffs on steel and aluminum. Now that the Chinese have something at stake, as well as the $600 billion trade surplus they will come around. The wealth of China is built upon trade surpluses. Do you think that they will scarify that wealth by keeping the status-quo and refuse to trade fairly? Not on your life! The next part of the strategy is reciprocity; we tariff their goods exactly the same way that they tariff ours, category-by-category. The same with all of our trading partners, including Japan, the EU, India, and so-forth. That can only be done on a bi-lateral basis and hence the Presidents aversion to trading pacts like the t***s pacific partnership. In the past, we have been very poorly served by our politicians on this issue.

The economy crashed during Obama's reign and with regards to wars, I guess that you have forgotten Vietnam, which was a Kennedy/Johnson folly.

The problem is that he tied it to we the people paying for his wall..

so that was not even close to an honest offer, was it..

Boy, you are pretty thick. Cutting down on the human trafficking and drugs will cost Mexico many billions of dollars, so that they will pay for the wall in their lost drug revenue (probably > $100 billion/year) and we will gain by not having to support all of the i*****l a***ns with welfare, schools, hospitals, etc. Go on line (CIS.org) and see what that costs (> $100 billion/year) and then get back to us with what you find, if you are brave enough to do so. The cost of the wall ($25 billion) pales in comparison. The reason that the Dems don't want the wall is that they see all of the i*****l a***ns as Democratic v**ers. In other words they are trading the heritage of this nation for their future political gain, but it is not theirs to trade. That is why they (drugsdealers, i*****l i*******ts and their Democratic supporters) must be stopped. You on the left should be ashamed of that and to many it is nothing short of t*****rous.

This is one of the most stupid rants that I have ever heard. If you have proof that President Trump has been receiving money from the Russians, I suggest that you contact Mueller immediately. I suspect, however, that you are full of hot air like your comrades.
