Well, I highly doubt you know any Dem.s who actually v**ed for Trump (if they v**ed for him, it was by them staying home and not v****g for Hillary...if they felt it their "Civic duty" to v**e, they v**ed for their party) but if they DID, of course they expected someone else to pay for what they wanted...they are Dem.s after all.
You can deny what your Party stands for all you want, but that won't change the t***h of what they stand for. If you can't see the difference between collectivism and individualism, congratulations...you're in the right Party for you.

Trump has brought out a few policies he hasn't discussed long beforehand. When you have enemies who live and breathe to sabotage your every agenda, you very quietly get your ducks in a row first rather than give them a heads-up, then spring it.

Trump is a whole lot smarter than the career politicians trying to defeat his presidency, he learned his sk**ls in the real world with his own money, not the taxpayers', on the line.
If anything, Trump is a believer in the free market and supply and demand. I agree that he has an education plan in mind, but has to first create a demand for the types of education needed in this country again (you don't put the carriage before the horse). Trump has created a huge need in this country for a resurgence of hard working, blue collar workers as well as a need for STEM based workers. The choice for the American people will be to either have faith in American students and overhaul our educational system or to import more foreign workers (legally) to fill those jobs. We should choose wisely.

Agree 100% She should never be allowed to set foot on American soil again. Military trial and GITMO for life.

The thing is...I don't know of a single Dem that v**ed for Trump because he said Mexico would pay for the wall, not them as taxpayers. I also don't know of a single conservative that cares WHO pays for the wall, as long as it gets built.
Dem.s MUST know that they literally sound like children. The campaign PROMISE was a wall, not that Mexico would PAY for a wall.

Shouldn't be hard... The OPP keeps a record of every post...
I'm curious, have you read "The Management of Savagery"? The actual book, not someone else's analysis of it. I'm curious as to what your take on it is.

If Medicare equals free health care, why do I pay a monthly premium for my Medicare?

If Medicare equals free health care, why do I pay extra for prescription coverage?

If Medicare equals free health care, how could my "out of pocket" medical expenses be $3000. last year?

Free health care is only a fantasy! Affordable health care, a fairy tale!
I'm on SSDI and my costs for "free healthcare" last year were the same (not to mention the 20% of all medical care, including lab work, that I paid). My Rx premium was an extra $58 per month, so I could pay a $47 co-pay for most of the medication I needed.

Islam is not dangerous in and of itself.
Like all relogions dependent on an interpretation of holy texts it can become dangerous when its core values get abused. This happened to Christianity during the Inquisition.

It is not necessarily ideology that gets us in trouble, it's the folks who practice it.
The problem Paul is that unlike Christianity and Judaism, there is no interpretation allowed in the Koran and the laws and traditions followed and accepted today (even by liberal Muslims) are the Hadiths that haven't changed since Muhammad spoke them. A friend with his degree in world history and world religions explained it to me and this is pretty close to what he said.

Refugees didn't come here to assimilate or because they are escaping Sharia Law...they came here to escape war and bombings and death in the country they love. Their culture, justice system and core beliefs will never be compatible with America's Constitution and will always cause strife and conflict here and if you read Vattel's Law of Nations you'll find that going back to Grecian times and before, no Nation has ever been required to allow immigrants, even for asylum purposes, to enter and cause disruption as the Muslims and many other immigrants have (because it destroys that Nation).

The casual observer watching the news would get the impression that that liberal objections by AOC and others to the tax incentives that Amazon was to receive was the reason that Amazon pulled out of opening their large corporate facility in NTC.

However, the real reason that the deal was scrapped appears to be the insistence of local officials for Amazon to allow it's employees to unionize.

The background on this story appears here: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-02-14/nyc-councilman-says-union-dispute-k**led-amazon-deal-not-subsidies

The article concludes with the following: "There you have it: A company that had promised to create 25,000 jobs with an average salary of $130,000 a year saw its plans upended because it wouldn't support - in principle - an $18-an-hour minimum wage."

But right before that, didn't it say "They came in and told us they were a proudly anti-union company...they came in and said they would work with ICE to deport people...these are not the type of companies we should support,"

So I'm a little confused...which is it?
Was the beef with Amazon wanting to only hire legal immigrant workers (E-VERIFY them maybe) so that the Left can't say, when he's running for president, that he "hired i******s" like they have with Trump?
Or was Amazing refusing to have (trade) union workers CONSTRUCT the buildings? Or is he refusing to let his direct employees form a union (and if they're making an average of $120K a year and getting good benefits, why do they NEED a union?)
My son is in the Plumbers Union and is working on INTEL's plant expansion - he's not an employee of Intel, but of the company doing the construction, which is unionized.

I'm an insomniac and it's 5:30am, so my brain may be a little fuzzy right now...but it seems the article has left me with more questions than answers, which leaves me to wonder if it MIGHT be biased.
