Lord Jesus may your blessings and forgiveness come upon us as we pray the Ancient Prayers of David, King of Israel and your servant.

Joy in the Fellowship of God
A Psalm of David
when he was in the wilderness of Judah.

O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.

Lord Jesus, in your name, I ask you to look with favor upon the people hear as well as myself and help us find the solutions of our problems that prevent us from exercising the learning of your teachings. May we all return to your favor. We ask this in Your name, we ask this in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

On this day of horrible dread,
I prayed a prayer to the Lord God Almighty,
as I posted the [color]Psalm 63[/color] with my soul longing to be fed
with righteousness guiding me, And the Glory of God around me,
I ask the Angels and Saint, and you my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord Our God.
For upon this day, all my dreams and plans were shattered, and hope was soon being diminished.
but behold in all the chaos and evil, came a light, that I must return to where I begun.
To rebuild in the name of the Lord.

FOCUS, FAITH, FEAR

Matthew 14:29-31 "All right," the Lord said, "come along!" So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he looked around at the high waves, he was terrified and began to sink. "Save me, Lord!" he shouted. Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and rescued him. "Oh man of little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt me?" (from The Living Bible)


As long as Peter focused on Jesus, he walked on water. That should be the lesson for us, always. Keep your focus right, keep it looking ahead. It was his focused faith in Jesus that enabled him to walk on the water. When his focus shifted to the rough seas, he became afraid. His lost focus, caused lost faith, and gained fear, and fear brought him down. Fear is an awesome enemy. Move on, move away from it, and move closer to Jesus.

Birds of a feather flock together...and then they mess on your car.
