Good morning all, May the Grace and Peace of Jesus Christ be with you all. Let us pray,
"In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

Lord Jesus may your blessings and forgiveness come upon us as we pray the Ancient Prayers of David, King of Israel and your servant.

Joy in the Fellowship of God
A Psalm of David
when he was in the wilderness of Judah.

O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.
So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life,
My lips shall praise You.
Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
When I remember You on my bed,
I meditate on You in the night watches.
Because You have been my help,
Therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.
My soul follows close behind You;
Your right hand upholds me.
But those who seek my life, to destroy it,
Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
They shall fall by the sword;
They shall be a portion for jackals.
But the king shall rejoice in God;
Everyone who swears by Him shall glory;
But the mouth of those who speak lies shall be stopped.

Psalm 63:1-11

Lord Jesus, in your name, I ask you to look with favor upon the people hear as well as myself and help us find the solutions of our problems that prevent us from exercising the learning of your teachings. May we all return to your favor. We ask this in Your name, we ask this in the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"
Good morning all, May the Grace and Peace of Jesus... (show quote)

"I need thee, oh I need thee, every hour I need thee" now more than ever the whole world needs the love and strength of God. I pray oh Heavenly Father that Thy blessings be with all who serve Thee faithfully. Amen

Thanks, NPP. I found relevance in all of them, but the 3rd one is that which I work hardest on. :oops:

That is the most forgotten one, particularly by me. I have gotten into the habit of, when talking about something serious, writing, rereading, and if necessary rereading before posting. When I forget to do that the results can be awful.

On this day of horrible dread,
I prayed a prayer to the Lord God Almighty,
as I posted the Psalm 63 with my soul longing to be fed
with righteousness guiding me, And the Glory of God around me,
I ask the Angels and Saint, and you my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord Our God.
For upon this day, all my dreams and plans were shattered, and hope was soon being diminished.
but behold in all the chaos and evil, came a light, that I must return to where I begun.
To rebuild in the name of the Lord.

Have a great and Blessed Day. http://www.onepoliticalplaza.com/t-19878-1.html

May the Lord Jesus Christ Bless all of you this day, as we pray in the name of our Savior through the words of King David, in the Psalms. Thank you all, and Amen!

FOCUS, FAITH, FEAR

Matthew 14:29-31 "All right," the Lord said, "come along!" So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he looked around at the high waves, he was terrified and began to sink. "Save me, Lord!" he shouted. Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and rescued him. "Oh man of little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt me?" (from The Living Bible)

As long as Peter focused on Jesus, he walked on water. That should be the lesson for us, always. Keep your focus right, keep it looking ahead. It was his focused faith in Jesus that enabled him to walk on the water. When his focus shifted to the rough seas, he became afraid. His lost focus, caused lost faith, and gained fear, and fear brought him down. Fear is an awesome enemy. Move on, move away from it, and move closer to Jesus.

Thank you for the post and the reminder. When our responsibilities seem overwhelming, it is a requirement that we remember this.

Good going on the color "By George, I think we've got it"

A penny saved is a government oversight.

The real art of conversation is not ony to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

The older you get, the tougher it is to lose weight, because by then your body and your fat have gotten to be really good friends.

The easiest was to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

He who hesitates is probably right.

Did you ever notice: The Roman numerals for forty (40) are XL?

If you think there is good in everybody, you obviously haven't met everybody.

If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame.

The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so they can tell when they're really in trouble.

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take the time to look for it. For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words 'The' and 'IRS' together it spells 'theirs...'?

Aging: Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.

The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.

When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to your youth, think of Algebra.

You know you are getting old when everything either dries up or leaks.

One of the many things no one tells about you aging is that it is such a nice change from being young. Ah, being young is beautiful, but being old is comfortable.

Long ago when men cursed and beat the ground with sticks, it was called witchcraft. Today, it's called golf.

Lord, keep Your arm around my shoulder and Your hand over my mouth.
Birds of a feather flock together...and then they ... (show quote)

While these are all funny, almost all of them are sooo true. Thanks for making me smile this morning.

No. he doesn't always tell the t***h, sometimes he just looks at things from a different angle which most have not thought about, and sometimes you can tell he is putting you on. Like most talk show hosts he is first an entertainer, and unlike the MSNBC crowd he is actually entertaining. he is generally closer to the t***h than any on the left. As far as Rush being addicted to prescription paink**lers, many people who have acute chronic pain are addicted but not many are willing to talk about it. The left doesn't seem to be the least bit bothered about Obama's cocaine usage, even though that apparently was or is an ongoing problem, and Rush is simply an entertainer and commontaiter not allegedly running a country.

Limbaugh is laughing all the way to the bank...every one station, or sponsor, who drops him, he picks up two more.

I am glad to hear that. We can't get him here any more because his show was too expensive for the local station managers to afford. At least we can still get Bill Benett and Denise Prager.
