Not quite the same. You don't catch Ebola from a lifestyle choice. Gays choose to engage in risky behavior and then demand that the rest of us to pay the price when that behavior results in AIDS.

I am fully aware of the difference but you wouldn't wish cancer on someone would you, even a smoker--or would you say to everyone who smokes or ever has. I really hope you get cancer?

Are you a member of the morality police? Morality is subjective. What is immoral to me may be fine for you. If you really want to discuss morality, I suggest we start with corporate morality. I find it interesting that when a corporation goes bankrupt, the senior officers get big bonuses, while the working stiffs lose their pensions. Big business uses their power to pass right to work laws, depriving labor from having any power. There are many more examples.

Yes, it is apparent that you believe there is no morality that all is moral relativism. that is exactly the point that I made on Cultural relativism above. Thank you for pointing out exactly what moral and cultural relativism is so succinctly.

We need more government. Everyone should get a gubmint check and everyone should drop their kids off to be raised at Government day care while they are at their government jobs. It all starts at the top, if we had a moral commander and Cheif we can turn this around. One could argue that todays so called entertainment industry is quite immature and disturbing at best. These writers today pen scripts that remind me of the troubled little child at elementary school who would day dream all day of destruction and mayhem, all the while trying to include as much vulgarity as possible.
It is hard for me to understand the attraction to such crappy programming and poorly written story lines. It is no longer just sex, it is zero moral value.
Yes we have turned away from our creator and the world needs him now more than ever.

I am afraid that it goes much further than the immoral, unethical and totally corrupt commander in chief and his administration. The valueless society has deeper roots. It was partially caused by a dynamic shift toward moral and cultural relativism which got a strong start during WW1. "Those who were part of the moral and intellectual hotbed of the between the wars generation , whether drifting through coffee houses or settled in the halls of academe adopted a cultural relativism as the enlightened orthodoxy of true progrossivism. It was against all moral and cultural absolutes and therefore against most kinds of authority, especially Western assumptions of cultural superiority. As Robert Edgerton, a cultural anthropologist said ' an anthropologist is a person who respects every culture but his own' It was definately against America. At bottom it was a radical political and moral creed, now brazenly promoted as scientific method. Cultural relativism was the furthest thing from neutral and scientific. It included preferences for raw self-espression rather than Victorian style self control; beliefs that all people should live for the enjoyments of the moment and glorify the body in all its forms of sexual expression, and in politics that all people should embrace egalitarianism and feminism. At bottom this creed was deeply anti American and anti Christian." (The book of Absolutes" by William Gairdner) The anthropologist who looked at ancient cultures believed that those cultures that sacrificed children at their alters, encouraged adults to have sex with children and animals, and cannibalized their enemies had belief systems with as much moral worth as did Judaism and Christianity. People like Margaret Mead and her lesbian lover examined Samoa and wrote "Coming of Age in Samoa" and said they were the ultimate culture of kind and gentle people, purposefully ignoring the ritual sacrifices, child rape and other horrid things that the culture practices before Christian missionaries came to the island and taught. These are the studies that were referred to and taught in schools when I was a teenager, and the equal value of all these cultures to Christianity was emphasized. The cultural relativism and its twin brother moral relativism changed the culture and spawned the Black and Gay Liberation Theologies among other concepts. One of those concepts that is becoming more mainstream every day is Process theology, the concept that mans changes in his behavior change God and therefore change the rules by which we live. It is a man invented god and god mutated to fit man's carnal desires. The morality therefore has been seriously warped, and all we can do is fight it with God's help.

If Thou But Suffer God to Guide Thee

1 If you but trust in God to guide you
and place your confidence in him,
you'll find him always there beside you
to give you hope and strength within;
for those who trust God's changeless love
build on the rock that will not move.

2 Only be still and wait his pleasure
in cheerful hope with heart content.
He fills your needs to fullest measure
with what discerning love has sent;
doubt not our inmost wants are known
to him who chose us for his own.

3 Sing, pray, and keep his ways unswerving,
offer your service faithfully,
and trust his word; though undeserving,
you'll find his promise true to be.
God never will forsake in need
the soul that trusts in him indeed.

Thanks, Don, for this collage of some really great articles by some of the most truly talented and sincere writers in the country. It is too bad that so many minorities of all sorts cannot understand that while America no longer has actual plantations with s***es, those plantations still DO EXIST. Those plantations are in the form of the Democrat Party, major news media, welfare programs, etc. All of us who allow others to define our lives for us are in fact s***es, no matter how tough we talk, no matter what gangs we belong to, no matter where we live in America. Many b****s outside major urban areas are no longer s***es to government, specifically democrat government, but who lead perfectly normal and mainstream lives without being harassed by r****ts. They have jobs, they raise families, many don't use drugs or aren't drunks. Many get through life without ever being arrested.

All it takes to escape victimhood is to refuse to accept victimhood. Choose to not live like a victim. Do not dress as a victim with a chip on your shoulder. Do not assume everyone looks down upon you - unless you wear those baggy drawers with the waistband beneath your butt - that does have a tendency to make people look down on you because you look so ridiculous and silly. Victimhood, just like happiness, is a CHOICE YOU MAKE EVERY DAY.
Thanks, Don, for this collage of some really great... (show quote)

That wish for a death sentence for someone else is totally h**eful, and no different than if some one said "I hope you get Ebola and die next week" the problem with your h**eful comment is that it provides fuel for the "progressives" to demand more "h**e crime" laws and there are way to many of those out there already. Do not assist the L***Q activists with such comments or you will find that it comes back to bite all of us

In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, guide and inspire my words today. O Lord, I ask that You forgive our sins, forgive the sins of this nation, come upon its people and restore in them the faith upon which this nation was founded, that we may once again walk in the favor of Your light.

Prayer for
PSALM 102

We face each day with hope in our heart, and prayer on our lips. We have been lax, we have allowed our freedoms to slowly be eroded. We were swimming along just fine, little twinges told us go ashore but we pushed on - then cramps hit and we went under. In just seconds, the past runs before our eyes, then we struggle to reach the surface. We see the light, we breath deep, now Lord, finally we pray that You will help us back to shore. Our nation is teetering, Lord, help us bring it back to You. It is time to stand up for the Lord.

You were here yesterday, You are here today, and You will be here tomorrow. Let us appreciate Your presence and work to keep Your Word alive in the heart and spirit of mankind. Let us stand to let our leaders know 'God is alive and well in America.' We see what destruction was planned for us, now we have to work to open the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf. Give us the stamina to face this battle head-on, give us resolve, hold our hand - we need You. Without You, we are helpless, lead us, Lord, we need You.

We look to the day when You will return and reign in Zion. That will be a new day, a new beginning. Your glory will shine brighter than the sun, Your grace and mercy will lift all cares and fears, all suffering will disappear, sickness will be gone. and all animals will be tame. What a glorious day that will be. There will be dancing and singing, joyful music everywhere. Hallelujah, hallelujah we look to You and to that day, Lord. We always bring our prayer to You in Jesus name, giving You all praise, honor, and glory. Amen

Excuse me but how is ones life choices evolve into being born a minority...last time I checked we didn't have a say in what color we were born, but we sure as hell have a choice in who we lust after!!!

There are apparently a few people who seem not to have a choice in who they lust after, that includes some homosexuals and most p*******es (they are not the same thing) they, like the rest of us do have a choice as to whether or not they act on their lusts. Unfortunately there are many people who believe they have the "right" to act on all their lusts, just because the lusts are there.

No Rock that would be a mistake....gays and lesbians have an agenda...making us believe it's a civil right..it's anything but a right...but that's what the agenda is anything but a choice....

Where any group got the strange notion that just because they want to do it it suddenly becomes a right is beyond me. If marriage were a right then any number of people or any age or either sex could participate in it at all times. Otherwise you would be discriminating against polyamory, or brother-sister love, and violating the rights of ten year old children. It is not a right and theL***Q activists know that. Their intention is not to be allowed to get married, their intention is to destroy the entire concept of marriage. That has been their goal from the beginning. Intact families lessen the control that the government has over its subjects, and slows down the "progressive agenda" which is that the state have absolute power over all people, under all circumstances. The L***Q "community" is simply acting like a shill to work toward their goal.
