Why should that change? Hillary never saw justice for her crimes. She and Obama with Biden's help pulled a c**p d'etat on an elected President and not one person has been held accountable. After November if Biden wins using b****t harvesting and mail fraud it will simply disappear. Never happened. Such is the present state of justice in the U.S.

I would have v**ed for Charles Manson over the t*****r that sold access to the government the crooked Hillary Clinton. And I ended up with two things I really wanted with President Trump. Supreme Court justices who actually can read things like the Constitution and a wall to help stop the invasion of the country by i*****l a***n invaders. I'm very happy with what I chose compared to what we would have had with crooked Hillary. You never get a perfect candidate but Donald Trump trumps Hillary.

I have a friend who despises Donald Trump. Whenever Trump does something he finds outrageous, my friend mocks the president’s supporters by mimicking their frequent defense of him: “At least he fights.”

As I’ve often said, Trump is a great big American character with great big American flaws – and some great big American virtues too, often overlooked.

But you know what? At least he fights.

Never-Trumpers have retreated from the political battle we’re actually in to an imaginary world where they are knightly defenders crossing swords with the Ray Harryhausen skeletons of ideological decay. They call their anti-Trump PAC The Lincoln Project. They call their anti-Trump websites The Remnant or The Ramparts. The idea is that they are the last men standing atop the last redoubt fighting for the party of 1860 against the perfidious President the Donald who has so badly disfigured it.

Well, no.

Black L***s M****r – a small and violent radical organization dedicated to a Marxist revolution and bent on hobbling our police and destroying the American family – has terrorized this country with r**ts and other ugliness for a long month now. They are not black – only one sixth of the protesters are black – and they don’t care about Black Lives or they wouldn’t be attacking the police. The police k**led nine unarmed black men in 2018. Seven thousand four hundred b****s died at the hands of murderers that year. More than 200-thousand died at the hands of a******nists. Black L***s M****r doesn’t give a damn.

And yet what is the response of our elites to these terrorist thugs? Corporations rush to show support for them. Democrat governors, who impose unconstitutional bans on worship in the name of keeping us ever-so-safe from the Chinese V***s, celebrate and join in with their massive demonstrations. Democrat spokesmen – also known as the news media – play down the “mostly peaceful” violence while upbraiding and cancel-mugging any law-abiding citizen who dares to draw a gun to defend himself against it.

So what about the Republicans? The ones who get their ideological ideas from Honest Abe. The ones we’re standing on the ramparts to defend the remnants of.

Well, they’re negotiating. Maybe the Marxist terrorists have a point. Maybe some statues should come down. Maybe some Army bases should be renamed. Some are offering a new federal holiday on Juneteenth. Senator Ron Johnson has a great idea – let’s get rid of Columbus Day so the new Black L***s M****r holiday won’t cost the federal government another day of paid leave. We may be handing over our culture to terrorists, but think of the money we’ll save!

Hundreds of former Bush administration officials are endorsing Joe Biden, now little more than a moderate mask for the radicals who would surely run his administration. That’s who they are. That’s who they always were. Compassionate conservatism was Leftism with a f**g on it.

Back in the Obama years, the leadership of the Republican Party told me to my face that they would “use” the Tea Partiers to maintain power while meeting none of their demands for constitutional governance. They announced in public that they would never try to impeach Obama, leaving him free to shred the Constitution with his misuse of the IRS, the State Department, and the FBI. They would not legislate against unbridled i*****l i*********n. They would not cut entitlements. They would not repeal the oppression of Obamacare.

What Lincolnian principles have these people represented in living memory? What ramparts are we standing on to defend what remnant? If the True Republican Party is an outpost, it’s Jamestown, long gone. Donald Trump did not destroy it. He rose to power because it had been destroyed. He is the emanation of their failures.

Republicans – and conservatives – are now what C. S. Lewis called men without chests. They have high-sounding theories and ideas about our founding and our Constitution, but they will not defend them from the radical destroyers.

Their theories and ideas are worthless. As Lewis pointed out, “In battle it is not syllogisms that will keep the reluctant nerves and muscles to their post in the third hour of the bombardment. The crudest sentimentalism… about a f**g or a country or a regiment will be of more use.”

The ancients located such sentiments in the chest. With the help of an intellect trained from youth, those sentiments recall us to our duty when it’s time to face losing an e******n or profits or a social media platform or a sponsor in the defense of principle.

Instead, “we make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise…” Lewis said. “We castrate and bid the geldings be fruitful.”

That’s your Republican Party. That’s your Conservative Movement, too. That’s why Trump is president. Because at least he fights.

Modern s***ery is the import of uneducated Mexican i******s into the country so you don't have to pay an American carpenter, plumber etc a living wage. When I was young the trades were all middle class Americans. Open borders has allowed contractors to replace all those millions of jobs with i*****l a***ns. I*****l a***ns are the s***es or more correctly indentured servants. Indentured servants don't require chains. And the contractors don't have to pay taxes or benefits.

Before my son became a Marine, I never thought much about who was defending me. Now when I read of the war on terrorism or the coming conflict in Iraq , it cuts to my heart. When I see a picture of a member of our military who has been k**led, I read his or her name very carefully. Sometimes I cry.

In 2019, when the barrel-chested Marine recruiter showed up in dress blues and bedazzled my son John , I did not stand in the way. John was headstrong, and he seemed to understand these stern, clean men with straight backs and flawless uniforms. I did not. I live in the Volvo-driving, higher education-worshiping North Shore of Boston I write novels for a living. I have never served in the military.

It had been hard enough sending my two older children off to Georgetown and New York University . John 's enlisting was unexpected, so deeply unsettling. I did not relish the prospect of answering the question, "So where is John going to college?" from the parents who were itching to tell me all about how their son or daughter was going to Harvard . At the private high school John attended, no other students were going into the military.

"But aren't the Marines terribly Southern?" (Says a lot about open-mindedness in the Northeast) asked one perplexed mother while standing next to me at the brunch following graduation. "What a waste, he was such a good student," said another parent. One parent (a professor at a nearby and rather famous university) spoke up at a school meeting and suggested that the school should, carefully evaluate what went wrong."

When John graduated from three months of boot camp on Parris Island , 3000 parents and friends were on the parade deck stands. We parents and our Marines not only were of many races but also were representative of many economic classes. Many were poor. Some arrived crammed in the backs of pickups, others by bus. John told me that a lot of parents could not afford the trip.

We in the audience were white and Native American. We were Hispanic, Arab, and African American, and Asian. We were former Marines wearing the scars of battle, or at least baseball caps emblazoned with battles' names. We were Southern w****s from Nashville and skinheads from New Jersey , black kids from Cleveland wearing ghetto rags and white ex-cons with ham-hock forearms defaced by jailhouse tattoos. We would not have been mistaken for the educated and well-heeled parents gathered on the lawns of John's private school a half-year before.

After graduation one new Marine told John , "Before I was a Marine, if I had ever seen you on my block I would've probably k**led you just because you were standing there." This was a serious statement from one of John 's good friends, a black ex-gang member from Detroit who, as John said, "would die for me now, just like I'd die for him."

My son has connected me to my country in a way that I was too selfish and insular to experience before. I feel closer to the waitress at our local diner than to some of my oldest friends. She has two sons in the Corps. They are facing the same dangers as my boy. When the guy who fixes my car asks me how John is doing, I know he means it. His younger brother is in the Navy.

Why were I and the other parents at my son's private school so surprised by his choice? During World War II, the sons and daughters of the most powerful and educated families did their bit. If the idea of the immorality of the Vietnam War was the only reason those lucky enough to go to college dodged the draft, why did we not encourage our children to volunteer for military service once that war was done?

Have we wealthy and educated Americans all become pacifists? Is the world a safe place? Or have we just gotten used to having somebody else defend us? What is the future of our democracy when the sons and daughters of the janitors at our elite universities are far more likely to be put in harms way than are any of the students whose dorms their parents clean?

I feel shame because it took my son's joining the Marine Corps to make me take notice of who is defending me. I feel hope because perhaps my son is part of a future "greatest generation." As the storm clouds of war gather, at least I know that I can look the men and women in uniform in the eye. My son is one of them. He is the best I have to offer. John is my heart.

Faith is not about everything turning out OK; Faith is about being OK no matter how things turn out."

Oh, how I wish so many of our younger generations could read this article. It makes me so sad to hear the way they talk with no respect for what their fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers experienced so they can live in freedom. Freedom has been replaced with Free-Dumb.

Ending the draft was a big mistake. It divided our country. The elite no longer serves and make fun of those who do serve.
Before my son became a Marine, I never thought muc... (show quote)

Once Trump’s time in the White House is over who will become heir to the MAGA movement?

Some of President Trump’s biggest fans have already been pushing for Donald Trump Jr. or Ivanka Trump to run in 2024.

However, there’s a man who talks to an average of over 4 million American’s every weeknight – which puts him at the helm of the most-watched cable television news program in history — who’s emerging: Fox News Host Tucker Carlson.

According to a new report, The Carlson 2024 movement is picking up some steam:

Republican strategists, conservative commentators, and former Trump campaign and administration officials are buzzing about Carlson as the next-generation leader of Donald Trump’s movement — with many believing he would be an immediate front runner in a Republican primary.

“He’s a talented communicator with a massive platform. I think if he runs he’d be formidable,” said Luke Thompson, a Republican strategist who worked for Jeb Bush’s super PAC in 2016.

While practically every Republican eyeing a 2024 p**********l run is professing loyalty to Trump the person, Carlson has become perhaps the highest-profile proponent of “Trumpism” — a blend of anti-immigrant nationalism, economic populism and America First isolationism that he articulates unapologetically and with some snark. At the same time, he’s shown a rare willingness among Republicans to bluntly criticize Trump when he believes the president is straying from that ideology.

For the report, Politico interviewed strategists who are aligned with other 2024 potential candidates who thought Carlson will enter the race in 4 years.

Carlson recently sold his ownership stake in The Daily Caller which raised eyebrows. The sale was made so he could put more focus on his show “Tucker Carlson Tonight”, but perhaps he’s tidying up for something bigger in 2024.

You are soooo correct. When I worked for the government, every year, I had to sit through a class in M**************m and Diversity. That started over 25 years ago. I thought it was wrong then and time hasn't changed my mind. We were indoctrinated to reject the concept of a melting pot. The melting pot was a core value in our culture, we assimilate and join the culture. Not after that class. No more unity. Does this sound familiar?
