No matter what group, there will always be those that go against the grain. Let me ask, do you have a relative that you are not very proud of? Perhaps you consider them "black sheep." They do not necessarily fit in. To condemn an entire state for the sake of a few does not seem very logical.

There are several more stories inside this one about home grown terrorists from Georgia. I wonder if any of them ever visited this site seeing how many around here are full of conspiracies themselves from that same state?

I guess if you want to damage the infrastructure in this country and k**l innocent people you probably shouldn't discuss your plans on the internet and then try to buy your weapons through the internet to carry out your plans.

This bunch along with the others that were caught ahead of time were probably not the sharpest knives in the drawer.

It does not surprise me the cause. But, the numbers are staggering!

I was not being offensive. Your own kind, that you have said you are Christian; would that not be your own kind?

Justice is not always as it appears. Justice depends on which side of the issue that speaks loudest to your values and heart. It is Just that a person's religious opinions and beliefs be defended. It is just that they should not have to sell their goods to individuals that they see as "sinful." Your business, your product, your beliefs belong to you until such a point that you wish to relinquish them to another. Freedom of choice abounds, you are free to think your private thoughts, you are free to believe what you want, to worship, and the list goes on. People who wish to shop have hundreds of places they can shop. People would not be denied their needs if a few places decide that they do not want particular patrons. Discrimination is not always bad. We should exercise it in our daily lives. I would give you examples, but I am sure that you can decide for yourself what is healthy for your style of living.

By your posts, I see you as a Liberal and therefore you value life. Well, most life anyway. I too value life, but unlike some I have no fear of death. I would hope to be treated well if I ever had the need, however there are guarantees. Knowing this, I live each day as well as I can, according to law, I strive never to cause harm or pain. And before you jump and ask about what I eat....I am a vegan. At anytime any of us could pass away. Should we be afraid of that time, or would it not be better to live our allotted time well? Should someone k**l me, well my worries are over. Their worries begin.

congratulations on your mixture of acquaintances, work mates, friends and so on.

The point about justness and your opinion is irrelevant to your continuance on OPP, on the contrary I value differing opinions that can be presented without all the vitriol I have become accustomed to sifting through. I am only trying to understand why, assuming that discrimination is unjust, you can condone an unjust behavior.

Since you don't mean me defending Americans, you must be implying that my own kind would be homosexuals. Sorry to disappoint you, but no, I'm not. This being the internet... believe wh**ever you want. I do, however, have friends and coworkers that are homosexual, black, asian, muslim, christian, etc. (strangely enough, I don't think I have any friends that are jewish currently, once upon a time yes), and to see the hurt and dejection on their faces when some jerk decides that they aren't acceptable as they are for wh**ever reason hurts me to the core.

Everybody dies sure, but it shouldn't be because someone was allowed to withhold treatment because they didn't like you. Your indifference on this is... for the lack of a better word, strange? I just don't think I've run across someone before that didn't care about someone allowing them to die for no good reason. It's a sort of... serenity that I haven't run into before. Intriguing.

I will stand for the Jewish people anytime. Obumma has craped on the Jewish state. It's a disgrace.

Democratic presidents are always the ones who intern Americans (Roosevelt equal to Hitler.) More recently Obumma and his treatment of Netanyahu. It appears, plainly, that Democrats have no right to call anyone r****t.

Thank you, and I am humbled to have your support. Obama came in office with an agenda that is not not good for all Americans, but it was well known he did not support Israel or its people. However, most Jewish people are Liberals they heard his promises to America and v**ed for him. The percentage was high, 58 percent. Most have now had time to watch his actions and now support has dropped to less than 18 percent. When you look at his actions: Nationalize Banks, Nationalize Cars, and Socialized medicine it is not hard to compare him to a dictator named Adolf. During a recent meeting, he told Netanyahu to call off his "dogs." Yes he called American Jews dogs. The president and secretary of state would like American Jews’ foreign handlers and sponsors to please stop riling up the Jews, because those Jews then practice their voodoo on members of Congress. There is more, but I will not bore you with it. Again, thank you for your kindness and encouragement. http://www.commentarymagazine.com/2014/01/23/obama-administration-to-israel-call-off-the-jews-please/

Thank you. I do appreciate your support. I write and sometimes I say things that has offended others. That is what I need most to look at, is there a better way of addressing my differences with others that will be less offensive. I know that there are some people who will always be offended, but I know I can do better!

After reading all your posts, I have come to several conclusions. Although I appreciate your time, this is the last time I will try to respond to you.

"You keep talking about living in a just society, but are then content to live in one that is not just. It doesn't compute. Why is this paradox acceptable?"

Within my society, we work very hard to be just. We consistently question our decisions and weigh them. We live by the Word. For people like you, those that look in on my world will always find things they do not like; that is fine. Be critical, be rude, be wh**ever your heart drives you to be. You live under your own style and as far as I believe, God has yet to pass away and made me the judge of humankind. Of course I have opinions, and you have brought up a good point. Why, if I try to be just do I come to OPP and state my opinion. This I have to evaluate and take to the Rabbi. Perhaps I should discontinue my activities on OPP.

"I'M not one to just back away without having gained a real understanding."

I wish you well in your efforts to gain a real understanding. This is something that humans have work toward from the beginning of time. I think that it is safe to say that not one person has fulfilled that goal. I sincerely doubt that you will ever understand me or my people. For the simple reason that you will always be looking in on our lives and not living as we do.

" I assume you mean that by defending my own kind, you are referring to Americans?" No.

"I have zero desire to engage in a flame war. If you would take the time, you would notice that I do not engage in such activities, and reprimand those that do (even liberals)." Good for you.

"I can see that by dodging my question consistently you have no answer." No, I do not have all the answers; only God is all knowing.

"I can only hope that if you end up in a hospital in Arizona, that you don't end up in an antisemitic one, and that you don't need t***sportation to said hospital from an antisemitic ambulance company." Should I find myself visiting AZ and have need of emergency care, and should those care takers be anti-Semitic. Then so be it. Should I die in their care, then so be it. Everyone dies.

Yours is somewhat more understandable. I could not understand why she could not understand when I changed my verbiage to, "she died" then went to, "she is dead". I was chortling under my breath when the manager called.

Ray, my deceased husband, had a friend that was not the sharpest tool in the shed, and I do not know if he did drugs, but I could swear that he did. Anyway, I called all Ray's friends to deliver the news personally. I got him, his friend on the phone, and I said I have some very bad news for you. I said, Ray passed away. He says, oh come on if you do not want him to go fishing, just say so. This is not funny. I said, no dear Ray died. He says, I am coming over there to get him to tell me himself. I said, no you do not understand Ray has gone. He says, I will wait until he comes home. I say no...he died, he is deceased, he passed away, he is not alive. He says, I will be there in 20 minutes, you tell him that I want to talk with him. I said, okay come on over. Sure enough, he was there in 20 minutes wanting to talk to Ray. Well, I told you once that I have a relative that is into talking to ghosts and such....she offered him a séance.

Not boring. I wish I had done this for the IRS. I wonder, because he is buried in a veterans cemetery, if they would have recognized the number. I wish I had given them a COA with his new address. But, I simply had a lawyer send them a letter and again attach a copy of his death certificate. So far, so good.

Boring story; however, here it is.

After my mother-in-law passed away, I attempted to have her phone service cancelled. They customer service told me they would have to speak to my mother-in-law. I explained she had passed away. The young woman told me three more times they had to talk to her. I asked if they would call her at a new number to discuss the matter. The young woman said she would. I asked if after speaking to her could she call me back. She agreed to this, as well. I gave her the telephone number for the cemetery office. Thirty minutes later a supervisor called to inquire why I had given such a number. I informed them the customer service rep refused to understand my mother-in-law could not call to cancel her phone service. Needless to say it took all restraint I had not to say truly unkind things as to brains and/or laugh hysterically thinking of the response at the cemetery when they asked for my mother-in-law.

I do agree, the internet is now full of more misinformation than helpful or even t***hful information. I love my books, those that have been around and no one has put a spin on them yet. Here is a true story. My husband passed away. I did all the notifications, including filing his last returns and I enclosed a certified copy of his death certificate. Two years later, the IRS sent him a letter asking for his change of address. True story.

Perhaps. But, I am an old woman who spends time studying people, and I have found that those who yell the loudest have an invested and personal interest. Perhaps you are overly invested for one who is not gay. Just saying. But, you pointed out to me a while back, the sin is not being homosexual the sin is in the action.
