No offense to you Cold Iron, but to paraphrase a response used here (normally to those who don't like something Obama has done) "That's the way it is... deal with it!" The second amendment guaranties us the right to bear arms. It doesn't discuss hunting guns, and it is meant to allow the average citizen to defend his home (even against the government as listed in the third amendment). The problem isn't with the guns, but with the way they are handled. We don't teach our children about them young enough, we don't secure them well enough to keep them out of criminals' hands, and we don't always remember that they are dangerous and therefore treat them as such. Just my never to be humble opinion. And, sorry for the crappy phrase at the start of this rant, but just wondered how the left would feel if they had to listen to that crap constantly. I'm sure Hitler would also have said something like "that's the way it is" once he started k*****g off the jews. Or, is there a faction of those who don't believe that happened, here?
