Kevyn, some of them are IN the military and they get MORE recognition for being gay than for being a soldier who at any time can be putting their life on the line, or are already in harms way, or who have fallen in combat.
4% of our population get a month of celebration compared to 1,281,900 active and 811,000 reserve that are in the armed services RIGHT NOW. A total of 16,100,000 served in WWII alone. Over 1,000,000 have died while on active duty and in combat. There are 23,000,000 veterans right now. In fact, there have been 48,000,000 who have served since 1776.
Doesn't it seem a little off base to celebrate these brave souls for one day while we celebrate people for an entire month because of their sexual preferences? It's strange to me that we give any group a month because of their sexual desires. I have no h**e in my heart for L**T people but they are a small group that's getting a VERY big piece of the pie!

It's been proven, I believe, that no shooter in the world could make the shots that Qswald supposedly made.
It's also been proven that "the" bullet couldn't have been the one because it wasn't deformed at all.
It's also been proven that there was more than one shooter.
This was confirmed by the release of the JFK papers that were hidden for 25 years.

Why are Jews h**ed and discriminated against all through history?

I have a theory that Jews may have paid more attention to educating their children through the years and better educated people become more successful in business and thus in general become more successful and wealthier than other people. When poor people need to borrow money they don’t borrow it from poor people who have nothing to loan, they borrow it from more successful people who do have the money to loan. But many h**e paying it back and resent the person (bank) they borrowed the money from in the first place. This is why Jews are always portrayed an wealthy money grubbing SOBs.
Why are Jews h**ed and discriminated against all t... (show quote)

In my opinion, there's more than one reason that the Jews are h**ed.
#1. God chose them over all other people to be his own children. Jealousy.
#2. As God's chosen people, they were to spread His word over all the earth. They not only didn't, they worshiped idols.
#3. The Jews have been cursed with the vengeance of God for their addiction to idols. Idolatry.
#4. The Jews are under punishment right now for refusing God's gift of himself in the form of Jesus Christ.
#5. People think the Jews k**led Christ. They didn't and neither did the Romans. Once Jesus had suffered enough, he gave up his own spirit.
The Great Tribulation will wipe out most of the Jews, but a remnant will remain until the end of the seven years.
I believe our blessings from God were and are because when Israel became a nation, we were the big boy on the block and we befriended her. God blessed the US so that we could be in that position when Israel needed us. Our country seemed to start going downhill with Obama and Hillary, I believe, because they wanted to distance the US from Israel.
Just look at the difference with Trump. His stance is STRONG on Israel's side and look at the economic abundance we are enjoying over that of 3 years ago. God said that whosoever blessed Israel, he would bless. God has kept his word!
I wasn't knocking Obama or Hillary...only pointing out their decisions to back away from our friendship with Israel that brought economic bad times on America. It goes back past Obama too. Dems and reps alike.
The only difference is that Trump has restored our faithfulness as an ally and the blessings started rolling in.

It is Cod fish soaked in lye for weeks or more. then impossible to spoil.. that would make it better.

The Vikings filled the long ships with it and I feel that is the main reason they were such nasty men when they got to Scotland, England, Russia, the med cruise..

the stuff comes in two way.. wet and slimy or dry and flaky..

Much time is spent fighting over which version is worse..

the wet and slimy is like right from your nose..

the dry and flaky demand lots of Butter or sour cream..

I have had much of each in my life.. we true Norsk still serve Christmas dinners featuring this delightful food..

Lutefisk
DescriptionLutefisk or lutfisk is a traditional dish of some Nordic countries. It is traditionally part of the Norwegian julebord and Swedish julbord, as well as the similar Finnish joulupöytä. It is made from aged stockfish or dried/salted whitefish and lye. It is gelatinous in texture. Its name literally means "lye fish". Wikipedia

Democrats blast Trump for forcing Mexico deal to cut i*****l i*********n
By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times
Saturday, June 8, 2019

Democrats lashed out in all directions at President Trump after he won concessions from Mexico to try to stop the flow of i*****l i*******ts at the border.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi chided the president Saturday for his method, saying his threat of tariffs was unbecoming of a friendly country’s treatment of a neighbor.

But Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer took a different approach, saying — seemingly with as much sarcasm as can drip on Twitter — that since Mr. Trump has struck a deal, he can stop talking about i*****l i*********n.

“Now that that problem is solved, I’m sure we won’t be hearing any more about it in the future,” Mr. Schumer said.

Just days before Mr. Schumer had predicted Mr. Trump would cave and find a reason to revoke his tariff threat.

But the threat appears to have worked both to bring Mexico to the negotiating table and to win concessions that the Mexican government had been reluctant to agree to, including cooperating with the U.S. to hold Central American asylum-seekers while they are awaiting their cases in the U.S.

Mexico did, however, resist signing a “safe third country” agreement that would have allowed the U.S., of right, to return any non-Mexican asylum-seekers who crossed Mexico en route to the U.S.

Mexico did agree to revisit its actions over the next 90 days to see if they are working.

Mrs. Pelosi had opposed Mr. Trump’s goal of getting Mexico to hold onto asylum-seekers, saying it violated the migrants’ rights.

She said the U.S has a broader role to play in stopping the smuggling networks that orchestrate the flow of people.

And she said Mr. Trump was wrong to use tariffs to force compliance.

“President Trump undermined America’s preeminent leadership role in the world by recklessly threatening to impose tariffs on our close friend and neighbor to the south,” she said.

Why is Mexico not a more prominent figure in world economics? Corruption...that's why. In 1971(I was 18) we took a grand trip to the western states. We went across the border from El Paso to Juarez, Mexico. It had rained the night before and many of the poorer parts of town were flooded a foot or two. Most of what we saw looked poor and impoverished..until we came to an ex mayors chalet estupendo. All the ex mayors had a mansion, while most of the towns population was poor.
This is what's always been wrong with Mexico...the leaders get rich and the poor stay poor forever. Mexico has been a thorn in our side ever since we took Texas away. The only symbiotic relationship we ever had with Mex was fruit and vegetable pickers who came across the border for work (being poor from Mexico's corrupt government).
Can't just blame Mexico though. NAFTA caused the first giant wave of i******s coming to America for work, and since they work had for less money, employers latched onto them like a spring chicken on a June bug. This is true of BOTH sides of the aisle.
Ever since then, Mexico has been the entrance hall to the giant open doors of America. Trump did exactly the right thing an we see the results.
Pelosi is eaten up by Trump...he's in her brain like a cancer...he's eating her alive.
Trump takes care of American citizens, not illegal citizens or other countries!

Peewee walked into a jewelry store one Friday evening with a beautiful young gal at his side. He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend.

The jeweler looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring and showed it to him.

Peewee said, "I don't think you understand, I want something very special."

At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock and brought another ring over. "Here's a stunning ring at only $40,000", the jeweler said.

The young lady's eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with excitement.

Peewee seeing this said, "We'll take it."

The jeweler asked how payment would be made and Peewee stated, by check. "I know you need to make sure my check is good, so I'll write it now and you can call the bank Monday to verify the funds and I'll pick the ring up Monday afternoon," he said.

Monday morning, a very teed-off jeweler phoned Peewee. "There's no money in that account."

"I know", said Peewee, "but can you imagine the weekend I had?"

Barr, in the second time he tried to negotiate with dems to get them to drop a contempt v**e, says he will reopen negotiations about releasing redacted sections of the report.

The guy is a moron, he is being held in contempt because he is refusing to release the report in it's entirety. If he wants congress to drop contempt charges he needs to release the report, he needs to release the full counter intelligence information...not after it goes to the white house first. They don't get to decide what congress gets from intelligence services, they are investigation possible crimes perpetrated by Trump and his people with Russia. You don't ask the criminals what they are okay with the investigators seeing.

Nadler told Barr to go screw himself, literally. He said that Barr is not negotiating in good faith and he isn't stupid. Barr on the last round promised to release counterintelligence information in small groups, he needs to release it, not after seeing what the white house is okay with.

Think of a formal contempt charge as the first step of further actions...like impeaching an Attorney General. Barr will be on notice, on a shorter leash, he will be a step away from being held fully accountable the next time he drifts away from the boundaries between being the AG and Trump's personal protector attorney.

Taking down Barr and other violators of the rule of law in Trump's regime is a huge part of taking Trump down

Why doesn't Trump just pardon him like Obama did Eric Holder? He could then seal the report by executive order like Obama did. Then, when a lawsuit is filed, Trump can deliver 400+ pages of black paper just like Obama did.
Let's face it, Trump and Barr are doing nothing that hadn't been done before by the last 2 men to hold the job.
I'm not knocking Obama, but if him, or Bush, or Clinton, or any body on either side of politics can do it, why can't Trump?
The answer is...he can! Even so, he is proving to be the most t***sparent. Administration in memory.
Barr is only adhering to the rule of law.
