Barr Was Just Told To Go Play With Himself On His Contempt V**e, It Will Be Happening

Barr, in the second time he tried to negotiate with dems to get them to drop a contempt v**e, says he will reopen negotiations about releasing redacted sections of the report.

The guy is a moron, he is being held in contempt because he is refusing to release the report in it's entirety. If he wants congress to drop contempt charges he needs to release the report, he needs to release the full counter intelligence information...not after it goes to the white house first. They don't get to decide what congress gets from intelligence services, they are investigation possible crimes perpetrated by Trump and his people with Russia. You don't ask the criminals what they are okay with the investigators seeing.

Nadler told Barr to go screw himself, literally. He said that Barr is not negotiating in good faith and he isn't stupid. Barr on the last round promised to release counterintelligence information in small groups, he needs to release it, not after seeing what the white house is okay with.

Think of a formal contempt charge as the first step of further actions...like impeaching an Attorney General. Barr will be on notice, on a shorter leash, he will be a step away from being held fully accountable the next time he drifts away from the boundaries between being the AG and Trump's personal protector attorney.

Taking down Barr and other violators of the rule of law in Trump's regime is a huge part of taking Trump down

Let the Democrats issue a contempt charge and then try to enforce it.

Woody, you need to quit playing with yourself. It's against the LAW to release Grand Jury Testimony. Besides having to just use your thumb and fore finger will drive you crazy. Mike

Courts will enforce it, including the supreme court. They will support hard cold black and white rule of law that congress gets to hold the president accountable.

The contempt citation if there is one has to be referred to the DOJ. You really owe it to yourself to read something besides ELWNJ sites.

Actually all Barr needs to do is ask and tell the courts it's okay, and it is, he won't do that because he is protecting the president.

And no, factually speaking there are several sections of the Mueller report that have not been released for no legitimate reasons.

Factually speaking executive privilege does not apply, nevermind that Trump isn't invoking it because it's moronic to try, they are saying "they might want to invoke executive privilege" Invoke it or don't, but stop with the legal BS.

Congress is investigating criminal activity, obstruction, there is no executive privilege under those grounds. Trump and Barr are repeatedly continuing to obstruct every week, congress has the constitutional authority to get wh**ever they want, and that rule of law will prevail.

Barr can be impeached or challenged in the courts.

This entire debacle is based on a pack of lies and high level subterfuge. You better hope SCOTUS doesn't have to adjudicate this scandal.

Thank you for wading in on that one. Since the Democrats have no problem with breaking the law--they see no reason to withhold the Grand Jury info, even if it is against the law.

Did you see where these smucks want a raise of $4500.00 . . . my question is --- for what? They are not doing anything to help our country.
