He begins to worry....

"Is this your husband?" he nervously asks.

"No, silly," she replies, snuggling up to him.

"No, not at all," she says, nibbling away at his ear.

"Is it your dad or your brother?" he inquires, hoping to be reassured.

"No, no, no!!!" she answers.

"Well, who in the hell is he, then?" he demands.

"That's me before the surgery."

I actually have no objection to individuals lacking belief. It is their choice. I simply fail to see why if they believe there is no God they must make an issue out of something they do not believe exists.

They do it because they do know there is a God, they are trying to convince themselves that what they have done does not matter because there is no one to judge them. But, deep inside they are sure that they will pay dearly, perhaps not in this life.....but..........

Oh well, I tried. You know I should go and apply for disability, seeing that I am humor impaired. You being a progressive kind of person would support me for the next 50 years or so.....right?

Speaking of silly things, have you heard about
Officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration inspected their own offices and cited themselves on three safely violations?

Ginny, I think you need to leave the comedy to the professionals on Comedy Central and Saturday Night Live.
Comedy in the hands of the untrained, like a firearm, can be a dangerous thing. Go watch some old Marx Bros., or W.C. Fields and Mae West.

George Carlin, Lewis Black, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Richard Pryor, and Chris Rock, could probably provide you some pointers too.

I am glad you got the humor, really. We all need to just laugh every once in awhile!

No he did not answer more than a few questions. And you heard correctly, young people are invisible.

Try audio books. You can listen while working out, mowing the yard, washing the car, driving a car........... Really, on a serious note. There is no excuse for not seeking more information. As we age, if we do not use our brains they atrophy and then the memory starts to go...... You do not want to be old before your time? Right?

Most of my friends are Republicans because I live in Republican country. so I hear their stuff all the time. I watch news a couple times a week. Usually MSNBC. My wife throws a fit if I watch Fox. They seem stuck up toward any body other than Republicans any way. No friends there for me. I read town hall daily and Newsmax which are the right wing. I formed my own opinion long ago I don't get a lot of time to read If I am not at work my wife has lots of orders for me but mainly she just needs help with the baby. It is a full time job having a family.

I am bored, so I have found somethings that made me laugh, I thought I would share them.

More than 600 people in California wanted to ride in a spaceship badly enough to pay $10,000 a piece for the first tourist flight to Mars. According to the police, the would-be space travelers were told to spend their "next vacation on Mars, amid the splendors of ruined temples and painted deserts. Ride a Martian camel from oasis to oasis and enjoy the incredible Martian sunsets. Explore mysterious canals and marvel at the views. Trips to the moon also available." Authorities believe that the con men running this s**m made off with over six million dollars.

A man spoke frantically into the phone: "My wife is pregnant and her contractions are only two minutes apart!" "Is this her first child?" the doctor asked. "No, you i***t!" the man shouted. "This is her husband!"

In Sacramento, Ca, an unidentified man in his late twenties walked into a police station with a 9-inch wire protruding from his forehead, and calmly asked officers to give him an X-ray to help him find his brain, which he claimed had been stolen. Police were shocked to learn that the man had drilled a 6-inch deep hole in his skull with a Black & Decker power drill, and stuck the wire in to try and find the missing brain.

Just in case my first ones did not make your laugh. Try this

The Chico, California, City Council enacted a ban on nuclear weapons, setting a $500 fine for anyone detonating one within city limits.

S**k of the weather? Don't blame Al Nino. The Nipomo, California man is getting a little tired of strangers calling him up to complain.

AT&T fired President John Walter after nine months, saying he lacked "intellectual leadership". He received a $26 million severance package. Perhaps it's not Walter who's lacking intelligence

Fire investigators on Fresno California have determined the cause of a blaze that destroyed a $127,000 home last month - a short in the homeowner's newly installed fire prevention alarm system. "This is even worse than last year," said the distraught homeowner, "when someone broke in and stole my new security system."

We keep redefining the Constitution until it resembles nothing like the original......

That's a bad thing??? The original was quite focused on exclusivity, keeping political decisions away from b****s, hispanics, indigenous peoples, women, and non-property owning individuals.

Amendments (for which the original constitution made provisions) have allowed this nation to reverse course and focus on inclusivity. Are you really saying you want to return to a world where only property owning white males can participate in the political system??? Really???

Why are you telling me. Okay there are stupid people that do stupid things. I am sure that you know more than a few that do things that make you scratch your head and go OKKKKKKKKKKKK..... that is dumb!

Here are a few for your amusement.

A woman came home to find her husband in the kitchen, shaking frantically with what looked like a wire running from his waist towards the electric kettle. Intending to jolt him away from the deadly current she whacked him with a handy plank of wood by the back door, breaking his arm in two places. Till that moment he had been happily listening to his Walkman.

Iraqi terrorist, Khay Rahnajet, didn't pay enough postage on a letter bomb. It came back with "return to sender" stamped on it. Forgetting it was the bomb, he opened it and was blown to bits.

A psychology student in New York rented out her spare room to a carpenter in order to nag him constantly and study his reactions. After weeks of needling, he snapped and beat her repeatedly with an ax leaving her mentally r****ded.

The list is not so long, I read them in about 4 days.

I do not ask you to apologize for your beliefs, I ask that you enhance your knowledge base. Once you have read books, watched changes in DC, and talked to people who know a little more than you might know now; then take a firm stand. Dig you heels in and do not budge. Regardless of which direction you decide, this is your country as well as mine. Many people to include my husband and I went into the military prepared to give the ultimate sacrifice so that you have a right to chose, to have freedoms that are not found elsewhere. Read, study, consider both sides for yourself. Do not let the news media or your friends take that away from you.
