Welcome. I laughed hard and yes Obama did fire a few shots all his own. But, go back and watch his eyes, he is reading it from a prompter.....still funny. His writer did an excellent job. This site is aimed at very young adults and Duckie brought it to my attention.

That is as bad as what he said in the Medal of Honor Speech. First time I saw 10th Mountain Division, you guys were in southern Iraq. When I went back to visit Afghanistan, you guys were the first ones there. I had the great honor of seeing some of you because a comrade of yours, Jared Monti, was the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasnt receiving it posthumously.

The problem being that Jared Monti was k**led in 2006 and was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously on September 17, 2009. The mistake comes with a history for Obama, who took an active part in honoring Monti's memory when he died. This makes this even a bit more of a blunder on the part of the President because he honored Monti in 2009 with his parents in attendance. What he had to say, would not be forgotten by the average person, or it least they would remember the man's name.

For me, Obama seemed to mostly lack a sense of humor. The humor put forth was not really clever, yet Obama responded as if already cornered. Sad. And overall, disturbing to me. Right or wrong, I want my president smart and wily enough, self-effacing enough, to ably play at such games.
