Hey Oldroy! You folksy curmudgeon with paranoid tendencies. Relax and reread my posts without the bias that I'm blaming the GOP.

I fear, Jesse, that you just failed in your attempt to blame the GOP for the failure of ACA. Nice try, though. If one of them in each house had v**ed for the a******n would that have made it bipartisan? :-P :-P
Yes, Obama said this, well, not the F*** up part, but, on the campaign trail for the 2008 e******n, he did say, " I've been to all 57 states......"
But, the media gave him a pass due to the rigors of the campaign trail. You know, i think politicians running for office should have to do games shows like Jeopardy, or maybe Are you smarter than a fifth grader...Might be revealing...
A few years ago a basic civics test was given to a sample of politicians and a control sample of regular people to see which group had more basic knowledge of civics. If I remember correctly it was pretty close but the politicians scored lower.
MEIN GOTT, Marvin you spend all that time blaming Republicans for all our problems and then quote the top Republican? I think you may be a bit confused.
That was all before Nixon's Southern Stategy. Take a look at the 2012 e*******l map. It's the Civil War deja vu. But now the Republicans are the s***eholders.
And the reason we "hired" blackwater,,, in typical lib fashion, is incorrect...... but I doubt you would know that,,, you only seem interested and educated in dem talking points

Why does the government not have its own programming staff? Would we subcontract soldiers? Oops! Yes Republicans would hire Blackwater. When the going gets rough, the contractors get going.
Chicago privatized its curbs. Now a private company is making a fortune on parking fees while the city is strapped for cash.
Sell the silverware, and then rent forks and spoons. That's conservative economics.

Yes, it's those wascally wacist Wepublicans! S***eholders, really! Are people in the red states outside the south s***eholders too? I think you're really pushing the envelope here.

Chicago...That's a great example of liberal Dumbocrats operating another hell hole. So, your analogy of conservatives selling the silverware and renting forks and spoons sounds more like liberal democrat policies given your Chicago example. It's always easy to get confusing responses and hypocrisy from liberals. Thanks for the example....It works to reinforce. Why not give us all an example why Detroit is in such bad times due to conservatives?

Poor old Marv doesn't know that the state that the Civil War actually started in because of the fight over s***ery in the Kansas Territory between the wielders of Beecher's Bibles and the pro-s***e people from Missouri resulted in a victory for the Bible people. Kansas was admitted as a Free State when it had been planned as a s***e state by the Congress when they passed the Kansas-Nebraska Act in 1854. Facts like this one are always lost when progs talk about s***ery and red states. I love it when those who Marvin is one of screw up like that.
Every condominium board in the nation has a list of projects with cost and time estimates, contractors bids, zoning approvals, etc., etc. But tax cutters have reduced the federal (and many state) governments to a level that, outside of the DOD, we have no registry of all the nations infrastructure with state of condition, maintenance schedule, plans, available contractors, pending contracts, environmental impact, regulatory and zoning approvals, etc., etc. Small government zealots have starved the beast into imbecility!
The government does not have a software capability. It is forced to hire private enterprise to create a system. And it must hire the lowest bidder, who has to cut corners to make a buck.
We have to go back to civil service government employees who take p***e in their work.
Conservatives are not patriotic. They are just cheap and stingy.
You get what you pay for.
The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country. A. Lincoln

that sir is the biggest pile of crap i have read in a week
I haven't used the widely used term BS for years when I can use Pelosi in place of it. Glad you liked the piles.
Yeah....Merv..or Marv has a different view of the world and American history.
I have another term for liberals and our Pos Potus....As I have very regular metabolism, I always look down at the bowl before I flush, and say, " Bye Obama...I feel so much better now".. Pelosi et. al. are not worthy of anything but being flushed. The sewer is too good for them.
