What forums have you been on? It sounds like I may have been on one or both back in the day. The only one I was ever banned from, usually 4 days at a time, and then for 30 days and forever the last time was City-Data out of Chicago. It was a great place and I posted over 40,000 posts there before the libs got me.

The two I referred to were GOPUSA Eagle and I think the other one is called Red State. I was a member of GOPUSA Eagle in good standing for years before the ban, and it was totally perplexing when it happened. Red State is a forum administered by Eric Erickson, and I'm pretty sure he banned me over a very critical comment I made about a column he'd written about the k*****g of Trayvon Martin. I don't want to repeat the exact comment but it was basically an expression of my feeling that he was being too sympathetic to Martin. I made a few more posts on that thread, and the next forum I tried to post on resulted in an automated message saying "You do not have permission to post on these forums" or something to that effect. I didn't really care about this one, but the GOPUSA Eagle ban really hurt because I was a regular poster on that forum for years, and I still continue to read the columns even though I'm no longer allowed to comment on them.

I have never been on either of those. You being from California made me wonder about a couple out there I used to read on. That is why I asked. I would have got in trouble with Red State for the very same reason you did because I told Erickson I thought he was wrong after I read what he said.
