that "class warfare" canard is something the far right uses anytime the facts point to a gross and growing inequity between the workers and Capital. This is the idea of radicals like Henry Ford, a guy who was truly anti-Semetic but who understood the workers must have a living wage to buy his products.. When Henry Ford is a radical in the eyes of the right, you know we're in trouble.

The class warfare issue is not a canard. It is certainly a strategy of todays Democrats. If you cannot see that you are blind. The growing inequity is due to the lack of manufacturing in the USA and growth of manufacturing in China, India and other places. When a Chinese family experiences an increase in standard of living you can bet an American experienced a downtrend.

1993 “the Democrats” included Richard Shelby of Alabama, who was a Democrat up until the 1994 e******n, although he v**ed pretty much down the line with mainstream Republicans. It included Ben Nighthorse Campbell, who v**ed somewhere in the middle until he switched parties. Bennett Johnston, John Breaux, Sam Nunn, Howell Heflin, Jim Exon, David Boren, Fritz Hollings . . . I’d say that collectively they were to the right of today’s Democratic moderates — and the 1993 equivalents of today’s moderates were there, too: Byron Dorgan and Kent Conrad, Joe Lieberman, Chuck Robb, Wendell Ford, Max Baucus, and others (note: I’m not looking up the actual ideological placement of these senators, but if you’re interested, you can find the data here).

Put it this way: I think it’s highly unlikely that Clarence Thomas would now get 11 v**es from Democratic senators, as he did in 1991.

Jimmy Carter was an attempt to deal with the "Southern Strategy" that worked once-1976 because the stench of Richard Nixon had so fouled the Republican Party. But look at the e*******l v**e since. Reagan used it, Bush I used it, Bush II used it-twice, and McCain and Romney tried to use it. Clinton won in Ohio, like most other presidents have done in the past 50 years. But the core of Republican backing comes from the southern string of states. Those are still red states.

It sure sounds like LBJ-but to believe that LBJ didn't care about the poor, black and white ignores the work the man did to life many poor families, black and white, out of poverty., at a time when it wasn't particularly popular in Texas or the South. Crude he was. A tragic figure who saw his life's accomplishments shadowed by his widening of the Vietnam War. Johnson did more for the poor, black and white, in his five years that the Republican presidents have done in 50. African Americans had been v****g Democrat since the New Deal. To think Johnson's poverty programs were a mere effort to win political contests ignores the c*****r backlash against Johnson. Who tried to filibubster the V****g Rights Act? Senator Robert Byrd, Democrat of WV, former KKK member. And a host of other Dixecrats and closet klansmen.

Having viewed your profile, I would think that your remarks and insults would be much more clandestine and less pedestrian in you effort to minimize my status and self confidence. The second portion of your post. Thank you for your offer, but at this point it would not be advantageous for me to accept your current proposal. I am shocked that you would willingly part with your hard earned cash to afford me a vacation. But, your proposed budget is no more than chump change. Could you not solicit (a sk**l that you appear to have honed) family; providing that they still associate with you and not merely h*****g around waiting for their inheritance, for a more generous proposal? Not that your offer is not magnanimous for a person of your means, but really a pittance of $60K? Get back to me if you can scrape together a significant and notable proposition.

LBJ's War on Poverty was a dismal failure. There is no evidence it did anything but win black v**es. Period. How did these Republicans use the " Southern Strategy" as you claim? I believe the opposite has actually happened for Dems to keep the Black V**e. Making silly claims like the GOP wants to bring back Jim Crow laws and other ignorant rhetoric. The original Southern Strategy was based on the assumption that the GOP will never win more than 10% of the Black V**e. Seems to be accurate in light of the conditions in Black cities.

In my mind, the very first recorded Huge and Mass s***ery was the Egyptians against the Hebrews. Hebrew infants were drowned, millions of Hebrews tortured and stomped into the ground dead over the course of their 400 year ens***ement. The Egyptians and Nubians are the same family, and as God sees his vengeance and fairness upon this world, knowing in what times to perform it for futures greater purpose: the last Huge and Mass s***ery was the Nubians. This was God's affair, and his alone- that brought it to be. The B***k A******n's beef is with God, not with this country and to be taken out on it. Has God humbled his Black people yet?? I think not, I know of One that still wants to be Pharoah.
