There's also the fact that we live in a universe of cause and effect. Nothing happens without something causing it to happen. What caused the big bang?

Squirrels. Squirrels fighting over acorns caused the Big Bang. Everyone knows that. Don't you watch Disney movies?

Science actually clearly states that all matter is energy, and all that energy is composed of nothing, in motion. Understand the concept, no, I don't, but that's how it is. All atomic particles are reducible to yet smaller particles, and all of them only have existence while in motion. Without motion they don't exist. Therefor, matter is nothing, in motion.

According to science, our entire Universe came into being from a point smaller than an atomic particle. In other words, from nothing. Because everything is nothing. In motion.

Matter can be destroyed and is, constantly, in the Universe. It's called Entropy.

That can't be right. Scientists have managed to capture a beam of light. They stopped it cold. The light, which is composed of energy, was not moving, yet it was still there. And get this. When they shut down the experiment, the light continued on it's way, like nothing happened.

Throughout history since the beginning people have believed in a higher power that created everything. I guess the billions are wrong and you are right. Now I am really going out on a limb here, what about the many people who have seen and heard spirits, and even God. What about all the people who had near death experiences who went to heaven, what about the young children who can both remember previous lives, heaven and can see spirit. My own children included. My daughter at 2 years old totally at random began talking about a previous life where her mommy was very mean to her as well as other memories. My son was able to see spirits. I know here are people who discredit this stuff, but when a child can see and remember things that are not in our current reality, I teNd to believe them. Life is too complex to have just happened by accident.

Nearing death, the brain is deprived of oxygen causing causing tunnel vision and a primitive instinct to seek light.

The brain hallucinates.

Children are sponges for information and can, logically must, understand language before they can learn to speak it. Parents and other adults discuss complex and innappropriate subjects around young children blithely assuming the child hasnt a clue. Add to that a lively imagination on the part of children and parents, developmental pressures at different stages, and misunderstandings by listeners in communications from children who are novice communicators, and a strong desire to confirm what one already believes...

Bluntly phrased, people make mistakes, exaggerate, embellish and flat out lie.

Gullible people still believe what they want to be true rather than what is demonstrably true.

Quoting article in part:
NEW YORK -- A best-selling account of a 6-year-old boy's journey to heaven and back has been pulled after the boy retracted his story.

Spokesman Todd Starowitz of Tyndale House, a leading Christian publisher, confirmed Friday that Alex Malarkey's "The Boy Who Came Back from Heaven: A Remarkable Account of Miracles, Angels, and Life Beyond This World" was being withdrawn. Earlier this week, Malarkey acknowledged in an open letter that he was lying, saying that he had been seeking attention. He also regretted that "people had profited from lies."

If nothing happens without something causing it to happen, what caused your "God"?

Is the cause important? Compress matter enough and it will eventually explode...yes? Well we don't know. Einstein's equations brake down in extreme gravity but we don't know what could have happened other than a singularity. Was it a god? Maybe, but the real question is why a god would go to all that trouble simply to create us? He didn't need to but could have simply created us without a universe and all would be well and good. For that reason I simply don't believe we are the product of a god but instead the natural process of Nature and physics which is the real god in all this!

God does not exists in our temporal universe. He created it, after all. God had no beginning. He is a Spirit that exists outside of time and space. This has been explained to you before.

You mentioned nature and physics, which are governed by laws. You cannot have laws without a lawgiver.

There were many, many others written that were not pulled. There have been people who died for a time who not only saw a light, but actually were able to see and hear what happened at the scene of death After they were pronounced dead. They also describe going to heaven and seeing and talking to those that have crossed over previously. Many peOple on earth have seen spirits of loved ones who have crossed over., including stories of children who have seen family members they never met and can describe them perfectly. You can believe these are all hallucinations, or implanted in the mind, it is your right. I have different beliefs on the subject and my own experiences that prove this other existence exists.

Ahhh, I see, Cricket. So when people nearly die and survive, what they claim they experienced is reality. Ahhh, Cricket, so good to know this. Well then, Cricket, let me tell you, I have also died, in 2003, and was taken up to Heaven, and everyone was on rollerskates with one bent wheel and they all went CLACK CLACK CLACK all over and the noise in Heaven was deafening and God was pulling His hair out. I was so happy to come back to life again and get out of that place, I can tell you. This is all T***h, so believe it, just as you do those other stories. You must, it is the crutch that supports you in life.

That is correct. The Bible. The infallible word of God. What do you have? A bunch of unprovable theories.
