It was 41 years ago. I hit so hard I ruptured my liver. It was on a sparsely populated back road in Pennsylvania. Fortunately, the accident occurred in front of the house of an off duty paramedic. Otherwise, I'd probably be dead. God was watching out for me. Some might ask why God didn't prevent the accident in the first place. I have an answer for that. I have never again ridden a bike that fast on unfamiliar back roads. It was a painful lesson, but I have a thick skull.

I agree, it's so peaceful being on the water in a kayak. Being on the water is one of the greatest blessings.

Have you been to the Bahamas? There are some gorgeous sand bars there. Talk about tranquility.

God was most certainly watching out for you! You could have ended up a whole lot worse.

Thank you again. I must get to sleep so I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed. I'll check in tomorrow for my website lesson if that's ok. Thank you and God bless, sweet dreams

I was born in Everett and lived in Danvers, Peabody, cotuit, handicapper. We moved around a lot. My mom got bored quickly with houses. I so miss the fall but couldn't live in that cold weather anymore. I like the tropics

That's cool. One of my very close friends lives in Danvers. The very first time I tried venison was at a party in Cotuit.

I've been a city boy (Boston) my whole life. You sure didn't miss any of the foliage this year, it was a pretty dry summer. I was hoping to take some nice pics, but oh well.

Enjoy your night, I'm sure I'll see you around.

Yeah. I could have suffered brain damage, and become a liberal. Oh, the horror!

Helpful hint, use the reply icon when responding to a specific post.

Yes I have

I lived on a small river in MN land of 10,000 lakes, very peaceful and quite. I jet skied for years but now find them irritating and now prefer small canoeing rivers that don't have any large board or jet ski's.

2 years ago I changed life styles and moved off the river and onto a small ranch that over looks the St Croix National Scenic Riverway. My little valley has been named the prettiest place in MN to view fall colors the past 2 years. So I have a piece of heaven that I thank God for everyday.

Sand sun and water is always great. But there is something to be said for ice fishing, hunting, skiing and sitting on your porch and watching bald eagles soar over your head every morning too.

:-) :-)
