More about bolding:
The rules of Adm. do not eliminate bold letters. One of the purposes of bolding letters is for emphasis of the issue or issues being presented.

Never in history is construed that bolding a letter or sentence is rude and obnoxious as you've indicated. I've never thought about that.

My other purpose in bolding is to facilitate review of the important elements of what I've written due to my dimming eye sight.

I encountered a number of writers bolding the important topics of their message. I never thought of anything negative to that.

Now you complained about it. Could you ask Adm. why bolding is allowed? I'll surely follow their rules, if your own interest is justified.

Since my cataract surgery, there is some sensitivity to reflections and high contrast settings are more comfortable. Most computers and smartphones, like the one I'm using now, have these options.

Benefit of the doubt.

We all agree no one person could possibly be as angry and irrationally excited as some posts on OPP might have been initially interpreted! If an alternate rationale and interpretation has been presented along with a willingness to utilize new methods that promise improvement, time will prove the sincerity of heart by the future fruit of any initial confession and repentance.
