Wow Pete, you need to stop swimming in the pool of George Soros and quit drinking that Carol Marx C*******t Manifesto.

Let's look further back, I think it was the Greek philosopher who said, for t***h and justice to be found on anything there must be a minimum of three people. One supporting one side. One supporting the other side and one in the middle.

Do you know why? So both sides can check each other with in the facts and use reason. Conservatives are needed in a free society as much as Liberals. Both sides need to be heard in an orderly fashion such that the facts can be weighed and found wanting or not wanting.

This is confirmed by the proverb, "When in fire Gold is tested"

Shutting up the Conservative voice is just as bad as shutting up the Liberal voice. Neither side should be silenced for if they are you are socialist, you are C*******t, you are a dictatorship.

The left is trying to silence the right, like at one time in the past the right tried to do the same with the left. Well the outcome will be the same as it was in the past, they will fail.

The Constitution provides a forum to accomplish the finding of t***h through fact and reason. Donald Trump Jr says that fact, t***h, and reason are like kryptonite to the left. Well Pete, through reason you are proving him correct and so are your colleagues on the left.
Wow Pete, you need to stop swimming in the pool of... (show quote)

You have hit the nail on the head, perhaps without realizing it, zillaorange. Progressives are not interested in what's good for America. They h**e America & everything it stands for. They want to destroy America.

Remember that Barack H. Obama wanted to fundamentally change America. He did everything he could but what he has done & what he wanted to do is not even remotely satisfactory for the progressives. That's why they want to destroy Donald J. Trump; he cares about America.

Sorry to burst your bubble, bubba, but the progressive media propaganda machine has spoon fed you like a baby in a high chair.

Mark Levin is one of the finest historians and constitutional scholars on the planet. His research for the books he writes is exhaustive. In writing Unfreedom of the Press, he studied the history of the press in America all the way back to our founding and the book is filled with references to source materials and footnotes on every aspect of the news, the printing and distribution, including references to articles published in the American press since Thomas Paine's famous pamphlets. The references to source materials fill pages at the back of the book.

Moreover, Mark Levin served as Chief of Staff for Attorney General Ed Meese throughout the eight years of the Reagan administration. Levin is also a long time friend of Larry Arnn, president of Hillsdale College. Hillsdale is a private college that receives no federal money and all students are required to take core courses on the Constitution of the United States. Hillsdale College offers free of charge an online course on Constitution 101. You should take advantage of that, you might actually learn something.

Mark is a conservative that has researched many positions in politics and only states what he has seen in research of all the books he writes. Not pure BS like the left.

There are many other conservative and even moderate news alternatives on the rise:

The Washington Times, the Epoch Times, the Christian Science Monitor, the National Review, NewsMax, Blietbart, World Net Daily (WND), CBP (Conservative Black Patriot), besides talkshow hosts like O'Reilly, Mark Levin, Rush, Hannity, Alex Jones, Dana Lash, etc.

I read most of those publications you mentioned as well as the N.Y. Post and Daily Caller, and I find that most tend to cover a story more thoroughly than the MSM's offerings do, giving a better picture rather than a one-sided propaganda account.

You could have fooled me, PeterS. Was this supposed to be our comedy relief for the day?

Your postings are filled with specious misrepresentations. Your recent piece on Maizie Hirono was typical. To me, you were saying that nothing matters to you as long as it impugns Trump. That's the test. You could also have thrown in Republicans & conservatives. It can be the most suspect source and you pass it along, as if it's scripture.

I suspect that many other OPP readers think the same as I.

Don’t give a damn about Trump or the out of control EPA. Apparently according to the EPA our air and water are cleaner than it has been in decades. Take those controls and give em to the states, not Washington D.C.. Your just another liberal coward.

An out of control EPA... spoken like a true I don't give a s**t righty, who doesn't care about the future of the world and your ego never sees past the end of your own nose. The EPA along with the white house has been completely corrupted undoing the protections for the people and yeah butthead that includes our children. The states and local municipalities get paid off by local industrialists, now thanks to Trump we have no office to trust to protect us, thanks. Call me a coward all you want, that's all about you. Keep in line with your t*****r, it only reflects on you.

By the way, we had cleaner air and water after the Obama efforts, things have declined under Trump. Why wouldn't it, he took away all the efforts, now they have free reign to dump all they want, again thank you and good job.

It's a shame you folks never grasped what Obama meant by "fundamentally change".

So let's take a look at that original quote:

Here’s Obama’s original statement, in an October 2008 campaign visit to Columbia, Mo:

"Now, Mizzou, I just have two words for you tonight: five days. Five days. After decades of broken politics in Washington, and eight years of failed policies from George W. Bush, and 21 months of a campaign that's taken us from the rocky coast of Maine to the sunshine of California, we are five days away from fundamentally t***sforming the United States of America.

"In five days, you can turn the page on policies that put greed and irresponsibility on Wall Street before the hard work and sacrifice of folks on Main Street. In five days, you can choose policies that invest in our middle class, and create new jobs, and grow this economy, so that everyone has a chance to succeed, not just the CEO, but the secretary and janitor, not just the factory owner, but the men and women on the factory floor."

His fundamental t***sformation was to make the people first over corporations, wow, that's one damn evil intention.

If you think CNN, MSNBC, The NY Times and Washington Times are not f**e news, or for that matter even being fair to Trump, then your either blind to the facts or your not being fair, which is what I suspect. You haven’t posted anything resembling fairness when speaking of Trump on any of your posts I’ve seen. Your getting to be right up there with kevyn, Airforceone, rumitoid, Lonewolf and woodguru as far as being factual. In other words, all you post is BS and propaganda. Why should anyone believe anything you post?

Wrong. Cleaner air and water came slowly FROM the efforts of the EPA between the 70s and early 2000s. Obama really had nothing to do with it

They began there but Obama really vamped it up, unfortunately, Trump not only did away with what Obama did but dismantled many of the original protections you were just speaking of, look it up, its the t***h.

85 Environmental Rules Being
Rolled Back Under Trump

By NADJA POPOVICH, LIVIA ALBECK-RIPKA and KENDRA PIERRE-LOUIS UPDATED Sept. 12, 2019

President Trump has made eliminating federal regulations a priority. His administration, with help from Republicans in Congress, has often targeted environmental rules it sees as burdensome to the f****l f**l industry and other big businesses.

A New York Times analysis, based on research from Harvard Law School, Columbia Law School and other sources, counts more than 80 environmental rules and regulations on the way out under Mr. Trump.

Our list represents two types of policy changes: rules that were officially reversed and rollbacks still in progress. The Trump administration has released an aggressive schedule to try to finalize many of these rollbacks this year.
53... rollbacks completed, 32...rollbacks in process, 85... total rollbacks

Air pollution and emissions 10-rollback completed 14-rollback in process 24-total rollbacks
Drilling and extraction ... 9- RC 9- RP 18-Total
Infrastructure and planning... 12-RC 1-RP 13-Total
Animals... 9-RC 1-RP 10-Total
Toxic substances and safety... 4-RC 1-RP 5-Total
Water pollution... 5-RC 2-RP 7-Total
Other... 4-RC 4-RP 8-Total

The Trump administration has often used a “one-two punch” when rolling back environmental rules, said Caitlin McCoy, a fellow in the Environmental and Energy Law Program at Harvard Law School who tracks regulatory rollbacks. “First a delay rule to buy some time, and then a final substantive rule.”

Who's wrong?
