I am very sad to say that Canukus Deplorus has left the forum for now. He was attacked and mistreated here on the Chit Chat section where he only wanted to have fun and make friends. Please let's all of us keep Chit Chat as it is meant to be--- a break from the venom and vomit that comes up in the rest of the forum. We all lost a good friend because someone just had to be h**eful and offer the most insincere of apologies.

Maybe CD just needs to grow a thicker skin. All sections of OPP can be rough and tumble at times with vitriol coming from both sides, and if one has their feelings hurt by one comment or another perhaps they are on the wrong forum. I, myself will miss him because I have enjoyed the conversations I've had with him finding him one of the more well spoken and cogent poster here. However I remember one of the old sayings from my mother; "if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen".

I don't care about the rest of the forum because OPP has always been about arguing and being unkind to those you disagree with. I only believe Chit Chat should be a peace zone. A DMZ of sorts.
