I can appreciate your point, that's more evidence that we "need" a "free for all".. "knock down"... "loser leave town section".
Admin will not allow it. A lot of people left the forum because of it and too many snitches who can't handle the brusing would whine to admin. Been there and have been warned more than once. I am the worst of the worst but I have to practice self control.

It is a subject that has been very politicized. Churches even urge their members to v**e against certain candidates because of it. I hear the lies about I*****l a***ns getting welfare and the justifications for separation of children from immigrant familys. It seems like being pro birth does not extend beyond that.

A measured and sensible response, Tom. 'A******n should not be a political issue because it is a medical procedure and a personal choice that is based on ones own morality. The last thing a woman should concern herself with is the government or political parties using it for political gain.'

Is the chit chat section not for our amusement and relief from politically charged topics? Should it not be a troll free zone and a sanctuary from those with an axe to grind?

True words Tom...

I was first drawn to the OPP by the General chitchat section...

The light hearted banter of Badbobby, Slatten, Bahmer, Archie and others was a refreshing insight onto the brotherhoid that all people share..

Though they often differed greatly in the Main section, they came together in this section...

I have been constantly amazed at how enjoyable individuals are when they meet to discuss less 'charged' topics...

I enjoy debate and confrontation as much as any (perhaps less than Texans ) But also love knowing that there is a section I can relax and share a moment with friends and (faux) foe alike...

Damn trolls

Being a foster parent is a moral and noble task.

You are to be commended.

I don't believe that most pro-a******n people believe that we should go to economically and socially deprived countries and promote a******ns do they?

I don't know, I could be mistaken.

To tell you the t***h I am not aware that a******n is being promoted as a means of relieving poverty in economicallly deprived countrys. It would be better to support organizations such as the peace corps and doctors without borders to improve life for the poor in these countrys.

I always interpreted it as a place you are sending the message that the intent is to lighten up and keep it friendly...
