URGENT prayer request!!!

A long time friend of our family, Patty Broderick, is in her mid 80's and fell backwards today when leaving a restaurant with her visiting family members.
She is a sister in Christ and has bleeding in her brain.
In ICU right now and so far they cannot stop the bleeding.

Prayers in this moment of uncertainty is vital to her situation.

She is now in the hands of our Father above and only He will do His will....whether it is to bring her home, or grant her more time in this life.

Please pray for comfort in this trying situation....not only for Patty, but for the many family members who are now at her side.

Thank you all for considering this request.

Brian

Patty Broderick will have my prayers for her. Being 84, I can relate how very important balance has become.
Dear Lord, please bless this dear sister in faith, hold her close and care for her as only You can do. Amen

This prayer is from 11/26/15

A silvery, full moon hung high in the sky, casting its pale light gently over the landscape. The three stately fir trees looked so majestic as they towered over the hillside, casting their long shadows. The Morning star was bright, and low in the eastern sky. Other than the Big Dipper, and a few scattered stars, it was as though most of them had slipped off to some hiding place to give precedence to this lucent moon. This was during the very early morning hours, as most folks were still snuggled in their warm beds. The Lord was high above watching over the serenity of this scene.

Soon the day will come alive with the rising of the sun. It will wash away all traces of the quiet, pale light of the moon. It will rise in power and splendor. You can almost hear the heralding voices announce its arrival. People will begin to stir, as you see lights being switched on here and there. An early worker will speed by, off to his place of employment. The night animals will be heading back to their lairs, with full tummies, ready to sleep away the day. Everything appears so normal, so usual. We ask, Lord, that You come into our homes, our hearts, and return our Nation to offer all praises to You.

The activity of the day keeps everyone busy as they begin to prepare a big Thanksgiving meal. This year, hopefully, everyone will give a special heartfelt thanks to the Lord, who has provided so generously to America. We offer a special prayer, Lord, for those who are alone, especially for those who are homeless, those in war torn areas of the world, and particularly we ask You care for our Military. We sincerely plead that You will return to our Nation, wake people up, open their eyes, and move their hearts. We offer our prayer in the name of Jesus, giving You all praise, honor, and glory. Amen

This is the prayer from11/28//15

Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Why is it, every adult seems to know the words to this child's hymn? Is it because we will always be children, His children at least. Praise the Lord, for that, He is good. We have grown up to the point where we realize how valuable His love and care are. We know our need for Him in our lives. When we read the Bible, He opens our minds to understand when we come to a poser. He opens our hearts to have His love come in and lift our souls. What a privilege, He loves us and walks with us. Are you ready?

Do you ponder the time of the Rapture? It is coming! Do you have oil for your lamps, and are you ready to trim the wick? Just think, to be Raptured will be like Enoch and Elijah, we will be taken up before we die. Just the idea of that brings a smile to my face. What excitement that thought conjures up in my soul. We will receive new bodies, a new life. Our minds spin with the speculation of what that will be like. If we are given a choice, at what age would you pick? I would want to be a child, and go to school every day to learn all the mysteries of His Universe.

These are the days to be in His Word, the days to invite Him to walk with us, to talk to us, and to guide us. The Word is unfolding before our eyes, Matthew 24:26 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." Therefore, O Lord, we pray You will shine Your light of love upon us, have us be ready. Have Your Word burn within our souls, prepare us. This is the prayer of our heart. With all praise, honor, and glory we offer these childlike words in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen

This is the prayer from 12/3/15

The morning breeze was gentle as it caressed my face, I smiled knowing it was a touch from the Lord. How blessed I feel, I know Him, more importantly, He knows me. Each morning we meet on the deck and talk, I ask Him to be with me throughout the day, be my Guard, my Guide, my God. Smile on the people I come in contact with, help me to be Your emissary, Lord. Lead me to offer others a word of hope, to open their eyes to the love You have for all Your children.

You are a gentle breeze or a roaring ocean, with giant waves crashing against the shore and sending a spray upon everything nearby. These huge breakers are a reminder of Your power. In Your hand You have the power to produce or destroy, and in both there are elements of excitement and beauty, which brings fear or joy. When we know You, though we may feel fear, yet we know all is well, all is well within our heart where You dwell. Praise the Lord.

Our hearts are grieved by the decadence that is being spewed out around us. Satan knows his time is drawing short, and he is working full steam ahead to steal as many souls as he can. Lord, we ask that You bless us with courage, that Your gentle touch inspire us, and Your power lift us to heights of deliberate intent. Have us keep our eyes on You that our hearts will never shrink with fear. This we pray in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Amen

I see you two are staying faithful to the page, but more importantly. faithful to the Lord. I enjoy your prayers of the past days. They are still so up to date. Every day I listen for the trumpet to sound; to see the Lord appear in the sky; see the graves opening with living bodies heading home ward to their home beyond the blue. Waiting for the amazing time when we all rise to meet the Lord in the sky.

Praying for those who still refuse to submit to the Lordship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I have been doing some ministry and sharing on Facebook. There is as much Atheistism there as here, maybe worse. It is heart breaking when you know the people personally who deny God exists. It looks like, through your efforts, the page may soon reach another milestone and go to page 8.

I will try to spend more time here maybe we can bring some of the old members back. I will do some research and see if I can locate some of the "ole timers." Thank you both so much for keeping an idea alive. Love to both of you in the Name of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

So happy to hear from you. I thought you had gotten so busy with your duties that you didn't have the spare time anymore.
Just like the first "Praying the Psalms," I have a hard time letting worthwhile prayer be lost.

A personal note:
Went to the doctor and I have developed diverticulitis - it is painful.
Would appreciate all the prayer I can get.

This prayer is from 12/24/15

It has been some time since my last prayer, not because I haven't thought about it, but I just was not moved to put one on paper. This morning, I felt moved. Around 4:30 AM, coffee in hand, Bear and I ventured onto the deck. The Lord had a scene for me that I just had to share. There, before me was a nearly full moon, giving its soft light over the landscape. It made for a picture perfect sight, shining through the bare branches of the trees. It was as though He was bringing tranquility after a night of Satan's destruction.

Today, my prayer goes out to those who lost loved ones, in the various storms, and also to those who are picking up the pieces of their lives that were scattered as debris over the surrounding countryside. May the Lord, who shines His sun, moon, and stars down for our comfort and enjoyment, enter hearts to lift them up after Satan's blow. May they know the love and peace the Lord brings, and know the h**e and destruction of Satan. When you know the Word, you will know He who is the Healer and he who is the destroyer.

Oh blessed Lord, lead us this day, protect us as we move through the various activities of this busy season. Come upon each of us, to take time-out to consider Luke 2:11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Let us reflect on the fact that He came that we might have life and "have it more abundantly.” Let us appreciate how blessed we are that we may freely sing His praises without fear of what man can do to us. In the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost, I pray. Amen.

Rest assured you will be in our prayers.

The officers at our Corps (church) retired June 25th. We now have a new officer, (Preacher). Trying to help her to get in stride with getting to know the people etc. We are getting up there in age, so we are trying to slowly but surely get some new younger blood to take our places. We travel 28 miles one way to church. When you put in 3-4 days a week it leaves little time to keep the homestead in shape.

We do praise the Lord for giving us the energy to keep on keeping on. Sue has her good days and bad. I pray for her daily however, it is my opinion that she should spend a little more time with the doctor also. But you know how you wimmen are.

Sometime in the next few days, I am going to try to find one of our old membership sheets and see how many I can contact. Maybe the Lord will give us a revival of our page. Be sure you take good care of yourself.

Love your Prayers,

Glen
