We are not in for a hard time , we are in a hard time if the t***h is told . Had the Senate ,under control of Harry Reid, accepted the budget the House sent them , changed the budget the House sent them , even let the Senate , Senators v**e on it , or changed the bill and sent it back to the House there would not have been a shut down . The house even changed the bill 2 or 3 times and Harry still would not let it on the floor or tabled it ,even read it in the Senate. It looks like the ruler of the Senate decided that the people didn't matter only blaming the House was the important thing ! And don't forget it is the job of the President and the Senate every year to make out a budget
not the House !

The shut down of the government was the brainchild of ted cruze, because republicans didn't have the guts, to tell him, and the tea party to take a hike.
His reason, and it was the only reason, to shut the government down, was because he couldn't repeal Obama care.
That is the only bill that had anything to do with cruze's shutdown of the government.
The shutdown was a cowardly, childish move, that did not accomplish one damned thing, other than costing taxpayers a lot of money, and increasing an already overstretched debt, that republicans are constantly crying about.
But the real irony with the complaints about Obamacare, are the real, and only true reason that republicans want to k**l Obamacare.
The ACA was a republican conceived idea, that they stupidly named Obamacare. The name caught on, and was accepted with p***e, and a smile by the president.
This caused a big problem for republicans, because the ACA is one of the very best things the government has ever made possible, for the poor, and the middle class.
Even though the ACA, had Koch bros. created problems in the beginning, it did survive, and has become the blessing that it was created to be, for so many people.
But for those that really don't give a damn (republicans, and the koch bros.) about the benefits, or even for some, the life saving blessing, that Obamacare has brought to their lives, to republicans there is one major problem.
President Obama is a black man, that has accomplished what no other politician, for more than fifty years, has had the balls, or the guts to get done.
So that means he will be given the well earned credit, for implementing the ACA, aka Obamacare, and he did it nearly single handedly.
Now to think that anybody, would have the nerve, and the audacity, to disrespect this man, and his family, with a steady flow of lies, and disrespect, should be grounds for treason.

As far as "grounds for treason," Your opinions about the First Amendment come closer than any insult offered to Tovarisch Obama.

One more thing: Where did you get the idea that the ACA was a Republican idea? Don't tell me Romneycare. That was for one state only, and the final version that passed a Democratic House and Senate was almost nothing like what Romney proposed.The main similarity between the Republican idea and Obamacare is that they use some of the same letters of the alphabet.

What amazes me is the closed mindedness you and other liberals have regarding this entire matter. Obama and Reid collaborated to close the government to have a talking point in the midterm e******ns. They have nothing to run on because the only accomplishment was the ObamaCare roll out disaster. The main stream media blamed Cruz because they always blame Republicans for everything that happens in Congress.

ObamaCare is a disaster and they know it. People h**e it and it will cost the Democrats seats in both the House and Senate. Hopefully, enough seats to change Congress to a super majority in both the House and the Senate. Then something can start getting done to repair the damage that Obama and Reid have done to this country.

Hey, Guys....the ACA was conceived by the Heritage Foundation and first instituted, with great fanfare, by Romney during his governorship. These are FACTS! Who knows if it will be any good......except for the billions in perks for insurance companies, medical corporations, and big pharma. And, above all, this is nothing but a distraction from what is really going on....the loss of our country.
One of these days, if you truly care about your country, you will research who REALLY runs this country. And it IS NOT the republicans or the democrats.
We are being played like bad violin, and it's costing us our country.
My husband, who left this insane world almost seven years ago, used to tell his congregation to "look at things from a distance"-----that it gave a greater over view and a much wider perspective.
That would propitiously be applied to the political situation, if the populace would consider giving their allegiance to this country, instead of a political party....neither of which truly represents the people.
If you have any interest at all, redirect the energy from confrontation and argument to research....and then inform your family and friends.
And, if you truly want to know the t***h, begin with the Rothschild dynasty; "The Crown", a 640 city within the city of London(57% owned by the Rothschilds), which owns the Bank of International Settlements, the International Monetary Fund, and all the Federal Reserves in the world.
Research the Rockefeller's plans for the world....and then google the Bilderbergs' plans for this planet.
It ALL comes down to "them with the gold make the rules"....and the European bankers, with global corporations, billionaires galore, etc. are destroying our planet and our lives....and THEY make the rules.
Face it, The Crown controls our Federal Reserve(and basically every other financial entity on earth)....and can bring our country down in a day by simply raising the interest rate and cutting the supply of money. And you wonder why our country has ALWAYS gone to war. Think about a week before the push for Syria. Bernanke said the "easy money" was gone.....and the war talk began. But, Putin pulled O's fanny out of the fire with his deed....and the US did not go in to secure a country for ANOTHER pipeline for one of Cheney's and the Rothschild's companies...as it did in Afghanistan.
EVERYTHING I have written here is FACT.
Add to that that the BIS and IMF finance all wars, the military industrial complex, and all reconstructions. War is the best business on earth....and in each country, usually called "terrorist", that is overcome and secured, Britain takes the money and The Crown sets up a new Federal Reserve.
If you guess I'm liberal or conservative, I grew up Republican.....when it was a party of which to be proud....not a party of i***ts. And, my family was highly political. My first memories were of going to the polls and sitting by my mother and grandmother as they held the e******ns in the town in which we lived....and they both received invitations to the White House, because of their support in Texas...where there were NO Republicans, until their deaths.
I support NEITHER party now, as neither supports or represents the US public.
Only WE can change this. I was watching Chris Hedges last night....one among many from right and left I view, and he said 1% to 5% of the populace could change the course of history.
BUT....it is the shame of our country that 99.999% sits on their azzes and won't life a hand.
Please.....stop arguing.....and begin researching....find the T***H.....and, it this case, it WILL make our country free.

Because I know you will speak your mind and seem to see things with an open mind, I'd like your feedback on my perspective that is close to what you just commented on.

It seems Ted Cruiz promised through his leadership that more v**ers would side with the Republican party and he could get Obamacare repealed.

We know for now, Obama Care, despite the delays and bungling of the role out, is still being enacted. Even Red states like North Dakota, Arizona, Iowa, and New Jersey have adopted the ACA. I think it safe to say some feel mislead by Ted Cruiz because of that.

Depending what your source of information is, blame is mostly put on either the President, all of congress, Republicans, Democrats, or even the Tea Party. It safe to say everyone in government, President and Congress among others have been blamed for mismanaging our Government.

I think upcoming e******ns, regardless of what polls you believe to be true, could show if the Republicans make any gains in Congress because of the ACA and then Ted Cruiz could take ownership of that.

Finally and most concerning to me is that there seems to be a division going on in the Republican party. Some republicans see the Tea Party as a minority stake holder attempting to take over the broader party agenda. The Tea Party successfully has taken down some alleged "RINO's". The blowback now is the speaker of the house and other Republicans have started a campaign to discredit the Tea Party. I fear that this infighting could make the Republican Party less effective in e******ns, and making more v**ers leaning right feeling left out in the political process.

You are probably right and it's a shame really. The fact of the matter is that right now the RNC is just another arm of the DNC and they are all bogus. The teaparty was a movement to take back the RNC from the RINO's and they are going to fight that tooth and nail. The RNC could careless about the country just the same as the Democrats. They are all elitist and greedy crooks and the teaparty doesn't stand a chance in hell of defeating them because the RNC controls most of the money going to candidates. We are represented by a very few in Congress. The vast majority of representatives are part of the establishment elite, whether Democrat or Republican. I doubt that this country will ever get back erect and standing on solid ground due to all the corruptness.

Alex, it doesn't matter WHO passes what law....our country is in crisis.
LOOK TO THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM!
If the US kicks out the Federal Reserve and sets up its own banking system.....which will probably happen when the next 08 occurs....to save the nation.....it will be a beginning.....if the US survives, which is questionable.
But.....the sooner the public realizes WHO really pulls the strings to the last infinitesimal detail, the better off we will be.
Neither party.....NEITHER PARTY......represents us....and won't until we get a constitutional amendment reversing the supreme courts decisions on unlimited campaign donations....allowing only limited individual donations.
That, along with kicking out the Fed(European bankers) and then.....returning ALL regulations on the media that the FCC rescinded allowing only 6 corporations to control our news will return a modicum of control of our country to the people.
Britain, The Crown, couldn't defeat us militarily in 1812....but they did it without a shot when the Federal Reserve Act was passed......
And, Alex.....look back between 1913, when the Fed came in, and 1929.....and you will see the same scenario that occurred between 1991....when the Banking Act of 1933 was rescinded.....and 2008. The Fed, under orders of The Crown, can and will destroy us. When the US goes down, so does the rest of the world....and ends with world domination by a minuscule number of the greediest of the greedy....
Also, the Banking Act of 1933 needs to be expanded and enacted again if we truly want financial stability and a foundation of unshakable strength for our country.
Look to the source, Alex, and you will find the impetus of all actions of destruction.

As long as people like us on this site stay divided little progress will be made.

Only when the masses present a strong united front will they truly listen to what we have to say.

There is no doubt in most of our minds that things could be better.

The idea that both parties have only their best interests in mind is clear to most of us.

We need to cut back on negative posts & look for the good in people. After all we have much more in common than we differ.

In our day to day life's we need to remember that it is so much about money. Our spending is what makes for a sound economy. How & what we spend our money on is the real power we have.

When the masses lack the money to buy the things produced.
Monied interests look to the government to keep money flowing to them. (The war machine for one.)

We need to spend our money wisely.
We need to spend at places that treat us & the help well.
We need to make sure that we stop spending tomorrows money today. We don't need to give so much money to the banks.

We need to make it clear to them that they need us more than we need them. Progress as been good for many.But progress is leaving many behind.

A leader is not a leader with out a follower. Leaders are not born leaders. Followers make leaders. We need to tell people what they need to do for us to follow them.

We just need to chose our leaders more carefully.
