The corn.....that's how we catch the lil perch and bluegill fishys....fun with a splash of free fertilizer.

Corn, huh?
My Uncle Ed taught me how to fish for bluegill and crappie.
Except he put a "white button" from a dress shirt thru the hook as bait.
The barb usually kept the button on the hook.
It caught a lot of fish.

Yea man, my Uncle Ed taught me how to ride a horse, saddle up, gallop
and all the rest. I was in his high end Chrysler at 100 MPH when he outran a cop. Worked 2 weeks every summer for 3 years in his local grocery store. Always had time for me... I was 10-12 yrs. old.

Where does the news get it's numbers?
I would like to see the "Bids to Build the Wall".
(From construction companies)
How many companies can you hire at the same time?
Seems to me ,three companies working on three sections at a time...
One in CA, 2 in Texas. Do the math.
Who is designing the wall?
It just looks to me that estimates from the companies that are
going to be building has yet to be published.
I'm sure President Trump will have something to say about the numbers.
All the reports do NOT really defend their cost estimates.
Finally, how about a contest for Americans to submit their "WALL IDEA"
design?

I'm just sayin'

BTW: Here are some more facts about border walls around the world:

Here's an idea on how to stop illegal immigration. Offer a cash bounty for shooting trespassers on our southern border. I figure if we shoot enough of them it should teach them that it's a bad idea to even try it. What do you think?

I thought of a similar idea.

A. Shoot them with a paintball gun with "SPECIAL INK" that takes
3 months to wash off.

B. The punishment is also stepped up to a "Beat & Release" concept. Kinda like those fishing tournaments (catch & release) ONLY now, the Border Patrol pulls out the nightsticks and puts some welts on your ass making it HARD to sit down for weeks. Then, forces them back across the border! Hence, Beat & Release.

I'm just sayin'

[quote=Weewillynobeerspilly]Hahaha....I've planted the sweet 100...not bad if put in early, i think it's about an 80 day wait till pickings....here in TX it would bloom like crazy, but never go to fruit when it stayed over 85.....i now run strictly early girl maters...60 days on the pick, smaller tomatoes. ....but damn tasty.

I learned from this little old Cambodian woman to just bury a couple of small fish when planting. ..been doing that for 20 yrs with excellent results.....1 trip to the pond for a couple dozen perch and blue gills....only investment is a can of sweet corn, i use that same method for my jalapeños and cayenne peppers.

No pinch, no sweat.....and no stink

Now that was the kind of story that I wanted to hear.
I gotta remember the "fish" thing.
BTW, here is my first photo of the Sweet 100 with the pot filled with
420... We shall see.
Oh, what's with the can of corn?
Again, thanx for the response,

Bought a "Sweet 100" it's a version of a cherry tomato.
Planted in a pot.

Spotted this fertlizer (attached). Talked to one of the workers who told me,
"YEP!, it's what you think it is. The boss was afraid of any backlash.
Last year, we planted two green peppers...two pots...one with the "Special Sauce".
The results were night & day. That sold the deal."

BTW, yesterday the bags of different fertilizer were for sale.
The 420 stack was halfway down below the others.
It's also $13.99 a bag.
Is this a great country OR what?

I will enjoy any growing hints, personal tomato tales and what you are growing.

420

Recipe 420 is a blend of premium
aged fir bark, coir, sphagnum peat moss, pumice, earthworm castings,
seabird guano, crab meal, and humic acids. Enhanced with mycorrhizal
fungi and beneficial soil bacteria.

Put this in your pot and smoke it.
