So you just about made up your losses after the big crash then. What would I recommend? Well, I'm not a licensed investment advisor, you understand, but mine's all in silver and bitcoin. I bought the silver at $3 an ounce and the bitcoin was $10 apiece, I think... Of course, it's been a while but it just keeps on keeping on. I'm just sitting back, waiting for the final fiat dollar crash and we get back to some kind of honest money. I really think this might be the one.

I would go with any government anywhere under democrat (liberal progressive) administration. Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Bill Clinton and Obama admins would top the list. That said, the government we have now is bizarre, due to the fact that congress is populated by liberal progressives on both sides of the aisle.

Probably, but I don't, and didn't. You know, I think you should go all-in on the stock market and let me know how it went in a couple of months. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Those who do learn from history are doomed to tell the others about it sit by while they repeat it anyway. It's like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

Cash for clunkers. Next time you get sticker shock from buying a used car, just remember where all the used cars went. Just drag it to the lot and the government handed over $5,000 towards a new one. At 0% interest...

According to Goldman Sachs: “The average valuation percentile across equity, bonds and credit in the U.S. is 90 percent, an all-time high.”

Meanwhile, at the FED: "We don't want to cause a boom-bust condition in the economy," said Janet Yellen.

And interesting movements on the exchanges. According to CNBC: "The tech sector fell 2.6 percent, while financials surged 1.8 percent".

The last time we saw a setup like this was in 1928 and we all know what happened then.

No kidding. The company said that was a job for maintenance, so he called them every morning insted of doing it himself. Problem: But now he was 'delaying the route'... It's... Complicated, here:

The worst president in world history has done a totally rotten job of doing anything he promised the middle class. In fact, he has done everything in his power to destroy it.
He's attempted to;
- destroy healthcare with KILLERCARE
- increase tax cuts for elitists and destroy HC for middle class by stealing resources from Medicare which will increase costs for everyone for Insurance, care, and prescriptions.
- allow guns to be sold to mentally ill
- spends more money and time on vacation and golf than any other leader in history.
- destroying all consumer protections
- committed treason by accepting Russian bribes and doing their bidding( PUTIN'S puppet)
- direct family involvement in all Tuscan activities
- "read and weep seniors" as trump pursues your demise by stealing your SS and Medicare trust funds

Interesting history of sanctions and intrigue.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States%E2%80%93Venezuela_relations

OK, I went through that wiki about 5 times and I can find no mention of economic sanctions against the people of Venezuela. Here's what I did find:

"On September 15, 2005, President Bush designated Venezuela as a country that has "failed demonstrably during the previous 12 months to adhere to their obligations under international counternarcotics agreements." However, at the same time, the President waived the economic sanctions that would normally accompany such a designation, because they would have curtailed his government's assistance for democracy programs in Venezuela." Sanctions were waived, ergo, no sanctions.

"On May 28, 2014, the United States House of Representatives passed the Venezuelan Human Rights and Democracy Protection Act (H.R. 4587; 113th Congress), a bill that would apply economic sanctions against Venezuelan officials who were involved in the mistreatment of protestors during the 2014 Venezuelan protests." These sanctions were against individual officials, not the Venezuelan people.

"On March 9, 2015, the United States President, Barack Obama, signed and issued a presidential order declaring Venezuela a threat to its national security and ordered sanctions against seven Venezuelan officials." Again, sanctions against individual officials, not the Venezuelan people.

That's it. Besides the bibliography, these are the only mentions of sanctions, and none of them are in any way sweeping enough to affect the Venezuelan economic disaster as it stands. They're all against certain individuals, not the economy in general. As for 'intrigue', when was the last political interaction you heard of that didn't have the flavor of intrigue?

Depends. Do you think he should be charged with harboring sexual deviants? A lot of Catholic priests were 'outed' for 'abusing' young boys in their churches... Thing is, what did the Pope know and when did he know it? Maybe we should drag him into Congress for a good old-fashioned 'grilling'. I can just hear it now; "C'mon, Frankie, we know you faked it with that 12-year-old, spill your guts!"

Here's a question, since progressives don't base their outlook on life based on facts, do you think they would be appalled to learn they are operating on faith, they do seem to have as much disdain for faith as they do for facts.

Quite the conundrum, isn't it? There was a time when 'progressives' were better known as communists and socialists. From 1938 on, the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), and the investigative activities of Senator Joe McCarthy in the early 1950s ('McCarthyism', anyone?) pretty much put paid to the idea of being known as either a communist or a socialist in the United States. About that time, communists and socialists banded together and commandeered the term 'liberal' to describe their movement. This was an egregious misrepresentation since 'liberalism' was the polar opposite of what these socialists and communists were espousing. There is no such thing as a free market under 1960s 'liberalism'.

Anyway, the use of the word 'liberal' sowed sufficient confusion among the electorate to sustain their political presence in the halls of power. This worked pretty well, until an actor and ex-governor from California named Ronald Reagan spoiled their party. Between Reagan in Washington, and Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in London, the word 'liberal' was ridiculed to the point that it came to be associated with the realities of, yep, communism and socialism.

Having been 'outed' as the political deviants they were, the communists/socialists ('Liberals'? Are you kidding me?) looked around for yet another moniker to hide behind. Enter the 1990s and the emergence of the 'progressive' movement. This is yet another commandeering of an older term that means not what you think. From the 1890s through the 1920s, the main objective of the Progressive movement was the elimination of corruption in government. An admirable goal, to be sure. The movement primarily targeted political machines and their bosses and had absolutely nothing to do with communism or socialism. Perfect. Another era of mass confusion is introduced into the political arena, and now 'progressives' continue to 'move the ball' with the election of Barack Hussein Obama as the 44th President of the United States. Not once (that was bad enough), but twice!

So there we were. It was November 8, 2016, over 100 years after the communist/socialist movement first reared its ugly head, and the United States is starting to look every bit as dysfunctional as other tinpot dictatorships such as Venezuela, Zimbabwe and North Korea, to name a few. Finally, after being snowed over for nearly a hundred years, the American people began to see where they were being led. And they don't think much of it. They were being mocked and lied to by their own media, laughed at by their own politicians and misled by their intellectual leaders. And they knew it. They finally saw through the lies and hyperbole, they were ready to say "enough!".

Congratulations, America! You elected a political outsider who promised to secure your borders against criminals, promised to remove the corruption in your capital and promised to bring good paying jobs back to your economy. It was so entertaining to see how he mocked and belittled the political hacks who got in his way. It still is. He regularly 'blows up his twitter feed' with comments that would never see the light of day through the media filter. They hate the fact that our President has his own hotline to the American people, totally bypassing their censorship and approvals. It sucks the wind right out of their sails. For the rest of us, it's so much fun to watch.
